they had years of live work in England, etc, in those days you had to be good to do live shows since you had no real technical things to back you up, all you had was your experience, gear, and voices to do a show

Paul sang lead and played those difficult bass lines at the same time. That takes real talent to split your attention like that. He really was so good a musician.

Sings pretty good, but couldn't/can't sing harmony like Paul did either. The idea that Paul couldn't have been replaced because the replacement was at the same talent level as Paul McCartney is laughable...the replacement can barely play bass at all compared to Paul McCartney.
In 1976 my brother bought a huge poster for me that featured photos from their August 1964 Las Vegas gig. It is so cool to see moving footage of this same era. Just look at all the flash photography going on!! I'm surprise they didn't go blind of hundred's of shows with that happening! [:-)]
It was the British invasion period and all the girls and wives went wild for them. I was a child at 10 when my mom got me on the Beatles fan club.. But she kept everything I got.. I admired Paul, my mom liked John, my sisters liked George and Ringo.. We were so Infatuated..😁

Saw the Beatles four times, once in 1964, twice the same day in 1965 and in 1966 and tool my daughter and husband to see Paul McCartney in 2010. Paul McCartney is still doing concerts 60 years later.

I can't believe to this day that I panhandeld off of John Lennon in Toronto and wasn't aware of who he was. I seriously did not recognize him. He didn't have any shoes on and his bare feet had rings of dirt around his feet .he looked like he hadn't had a bath or a shower for a long time. I still went ahead and asked him if he had any spare change to take the bus home. He replied I don't have any change but maybe my wife does when she comes out of the book store. When she came out he asked her if she had any change to give this young lad . I was 14 at that time. When he asked her She started screaming at me saying why can't we be left alone and why is a fucking kid asking for money on the streets. Yelling at the top of her lungs calling me a fucking bum to get away from them. I went home that night and was ashamed and cried for hours. I didn't realize who he was for a couple of days until I seen a picture of him in the news paper. For years I kept this to myself because he was my Idol growing up and l loved the Beatles with all my heart and soul back in the 60s . I was horrified and was in shock when I realized who he was. I got to be the ultimate moron of the World. I can say that I'm the only person in the World that Panhandled off of John Lennon.

I think they saw the Beatles as a threat to their ideas and music hero’s past because when I would ask them to name Beatle song they couldn’t give me more than one song. I had a girlfriend who was 16 in 1964. She thought their harmonising sounded like The Chipmunks, and lyrics like "I wanna hold your hand" too tame. How come John plays Rthymn guitar and sometimes lead so well without glasses. I had heard many times that he was extremely blind and wondered whether he wore contact lenses for the stage performances?. Were contacts invented by that time?
Well remember Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder were blind. Playing music is "by ear" not eye so much unless you depend on reading music, which the Beatles did not.

If you can tone out the screaming in some of the video, you could have done it in all of it so that the music can be heard. I particularly liked the harmonizing when George came in during All My Loving and the music was synced. I don't understand the captions from one date to another, as flashes of scenes were obviously from the same concert.
