Your ASMR Jedi skills are increasing! the increased volume so i could adjust to my liking, the chimes, the unintentional wind in the mic, the mortar and pestal, the gourd, so much to include! got a lil nervous when the blade came out but it was oddly satisfying.... Probably Mexico. I have a lot of family that lives there so I am definitely biased. When I was in Oaxaca, I was living on a farm and the lifestyle was so modest and slow, with no worries about materialistic desires. I miss the green mountains and the simplicity of the rural countryside. Also The food is amazing and will always remind me of home.
Will you share what kind of research/field work you've spoken of in past videos? I'm intrigued to know why you must keep your nails short. Also, what professions did your parents have that took you to different countries? Thanks in advance!
I keep my nails short for many reasons. Over the summer, I do a lot of field research and long nails are really inconvenient for climbing trees. They would also accumulate dirt and other nasties beneath them. During the school year, I dissect a lot of dead animals and prep them for preservation. Long nails really get in the way of handling the specimens and extracting organs, bones, etc. The alcohol is terrible for skin and nails and they become really dry and brittle. Also the smell of the formalin will stay under my nails and it's so gross. I don't want to smell like a dead dogfish for hours on end.
In highschool I died my hair very light blonde and I thought it looked really good with my tan skin. I'm no longer as tan since I go to school in the east coast where there is not a lot of sun so I'm going to try dark brown next. I think it looks better when I'm pale lol
