I was an immigrant from Russia back in the 90’s. I spoke no English, but watched “Married with Children” religiously! I was so intrigued by the laughter and the Bundy’s family facial expressions that I hanged on every word and then used a vocabulary to determine what are they talking ( and laughing) about . Needless to say I have learned to speak English through watching “Married with Children”! Loved the show!
It´s very powerful comming out and showing yourself when you have problems walking or even standing and talk about your health especially in Hollywood where everything is and has to look picture perfect. I never understand when people say "she faced her health problems head on" . What other way is there? they don't go away if you ignore them lol. it doesn't make you brave, you have no choice
a lot of people avoid dealing with something that is wrong out of fear they wont be able to handle it. so some people just get very sick while being in denial or trying to ignore signs because they dont want to face it. i think thats why its seen as brave when someone faces a health problem and does everything they can to fight it.
I have two sisters with Ms. They can still walk..no cane or wheelchair. One had had it over 20 years another over 10 years. It's so different for everyone. Christina's must be very fast Progressing. People wouldn't even know my sisters have it. Their hands shake like they're nervous. It's genetic so I'm always thinking of it in the back of my mind...but it's hard to diagnose.
She says she ignored the signs. Did she tho? I went to middle school with her, so yes I know her. For the record I’m diagnosed ten years so don’t at me!

She had short bleach blonde spiked hair longer on one side and attentive to her filmography. It was a blast to hang out by the phones with her and other kids in theatre and fine arts. MS is a pretty horrible disease and it cannot be cured. It's progressive. She'll need all the help she can get. But it looks like she's surrounded with people who love her. Wishing her all the happiness in the world.
