    it is great to see that a fellow PWD is the one doing the demo and not an abled bodied person doing it, which you know would be "easy" and different. kudos

    Excellent demo, I would do it exactly as shown except lob it into my back seat. Thank you so much!

    I watched Videos of quite a few Scooters and finally bought one that I thought would fit in my car,It was delivered at 7am on a Monday morning and at 7;30am I was in bed as my back went when I tried to lift it as seen on TV.It is now Saturday and I got up this morning felling a little better but still in pain but too frightened to try lifting it again.

    Thank you for your DEMO as all mobility scooters should be demonstrated by someone who has problems otherwise this is discrimination by others who can do it easily and it makes it look easy when it is not when lifting and standing and bending knees is a problem more thought needs to be given to the disabled as many of us struggle to do everyday things in life that others feel it is easy some days even lifting a full kettle to make a cup of tea is painful

      +Sue Hanmore, discrimination? What nonsense. Get your head on straight and stop feeling sorry for yourself.

      Only fill your kettle with enough water to make a cup .. this also saves on water

    Thank you so much for the video. I have balance issues that mean stooping and bending will cause problems with my ability to remain upright! This is what I've been looking for, but I need to see if it can be loaded into the trunk of a regular car. Again, thank you!!

    Car was chosen for this very reason... It's a SEAT ALHAMBRA, exactly the same as VW SHARAN. Only vehicle I found that allows Luggie to go in this way. Length of Luggie is 101cm or 40 inches. Let me know if you need anymore help.

    The only disturbing factor about the luggie is the many TH-cam videos showing parts replacements. Do the folding clamps and steering gear wear or break that often? Seems like lubrication and some basic care would prevent parts breaking. The high cost ($400+) replacement battery is hard to take too. NO videos show the Luggie with a 200 + pound person going UP various grades. Grade climbing ability is critically important for most users. Scooter makers and sellers have a long way to go to HONESTLY sell a product.

    Ok scooter but the chassis hooks can snap very easy. Where can you get spares in the uk.

    I don't see the batteries in your video - did you take them out? How much does it, or they, weigh?

    Great demo. What kind of car is that?
    How long is the luggie? (trunk depth needed)

    What if your boot is a Fiat 500?

    • @gabs6334
      @gabs6334 ปีที่แล้ว

      Then you can't do this? Or get a car with a more suitable boot if you know you require a scooter.

    Great if your a man and have the strength the fellow does in the video..I am a woman weigh 110lbs its not that easy for me. I fold it flat,angle it like the fellow but have to use both hands and good torque to put in the car and getting it out...I broke one of the back transport wheel brackets,wish they where alumin...other than that I love my luggie the freedom it gives me!!

      I agree. 1st time I put the Luggie into the back of my car, I ripped my back muscles. I’ve been crippled for over a week and terrified at the thought of trying again. I will do though, but I am in so much pain.
