Chinese road carbon frame TRIFOX: build

  • I will build a carbon road bike on the Chinese frame TRIFOX. When building the bike, it was pleasant to work with the frame, it was without any problems. The result is a nice and surprisingly light bike. Few comments about the build... I have to praise the well prepared cable routing through the frame which is easy to service. The thread on the bottom bracket seems to me - in the era of all sorts of pressers - also superb. Hopefully sometime after Christmas the roads will dry up so I can try it out and share with you my first impressions of the ride.

Very nice build! The bike looks impressive and specially in the era of disk brakes and Di2 it’s nice to see an old school bike with no full integration of cables, which are a pain when it comes to maintenance.

OnRoad Vintage Bikes, is your rear derailleur working well? I abandoned to use the cable guide plate at under BB of the frame when I built my Trifox X16. I had to put outer cable of rear derailleur in through the frame to make my rear derailleur working well.
