Great game play it on my A1200 and on the Vampire V4 Standalone. Use WHDLoad on them must test it with diskettes. Was the best christmas gift to come out. Like the music and the intro rocks. Turrican 2 is the best A500 game and now a AGA remake.
Yeah, I think most people are not keen on it. I think they should probably just make the original Amiga sprite the default. I don't think the DOS sprite adds anything and it's got the same number of colours.
I assume you now realise how close you were to finding a 'secret' very early in the game, had you simply continued following the little flying bot you uncovered. It's been a while since I played this, but isn't there an option for an upgraded soundtrack in the menus, also? I forget. I could swear I played it with better music. It's a nice little package for us Turricanoids starved of a modern sequel in the same way the likes of the Giana Sisters had. Come on Manfred, I *KNOW* you have it somewhere on your hard drives, that Turrican sequel in some form or another. Let's see it.
Yeah, I figured out the little secret bots later. The music is unchanged in this version I think, with the exception that it won't drop music channels when using the beam weapon.
@@DavePoo2 I know what I was thinking of, I was thinking of the Switch Anthology games. Not one TWO music upgrades and the original soundtracks too. Great releases, all kinds of mod-cons.
I used to be totally amazed by this games bestuurlijk graphics when it came out. Thank you for this Play through.
You're welcome
You can change the Amiga/PC Sprite in the options at start... this game is absolutely fabulous, Gameplay, GFX, Sounds, Musics... 😍
Yes! I like the new Graphics, but I was fine with the OG Amiga sprite. It's a great conversion to AGA.

Santa was kind to us this time. I'm going to be playing more of this. I was playing it before, but I think this is my goto version now.
The best I ever got was Amiga 500 with 1Mb RAM. Turrican 2 was my favorite game.
It's still an awesome game. And you only needed 1/2 Mb of ram to play it!
Nice Gameplay Video!
Thanks. Check out my Why is Turrican II so awesome video as well.
@@DavePoo2 I think I have already?
I like most of the graphical changes except the suit.

I stil to this day prefer the original Amiga500 version
It''s win-win, now you have AGA too.
The AGA version plays awful compared to the originals. You would have to be someone who only plays these games with cheats to think otherwise…
I have never played any version of turrican using cheats.
