You don't want to blow inside your system you want to blow it out not inside of it. Blowing the dust inside of it could just make problems with your system worse.

Should i wait until i get some screw drivers so i can pull out the hard drive and blow/clean that area or do you think as long as majority of the dust is removed blowing the hard drive may not be necessary?

Yeah, PS4 hardrives are so trashy, one time a friend of mine had the very same issue, and we simply installed an extremely old 2010 laptop hardrive, and it functioned. Thats why it's best purchasing game CD discs instead of downloading the games through a Virtual store.

Thank you so much!! My boyfriend is gone to work & my dog damn near BELLY FLOPPED on his PS4 slim. The other video I watched said I would have to replace his hard drive. I just grabbed a Bobby pin 🧷 & got it all the dust out. I fixed the ps4 & the loud annoying fan 😂
Also keep in mind it's not always the dust it can also be the hard drive itself it might be corrupted. It's why some people recommend that you might have to replace the hard drive or sometimes if the corruption is too bad for the console you might have to replace the entire system or send your system in for a service repair.
Do you know of some likely causes that could lead the hard drive or the system to go bad so quickly besides the dust ; particularly in the event that you already experienced a hard drive going bad and replacing it once before?
@@spongebob8445 no but yes. In my experience with this issue it has nothing to do with my ps4 and everything to do w the wiring in my home. The ps4 isn't getting enough power to its various shutdown sequences which eventually causes problems

@@lxurixno So, first off it will delete all your games and all the things in your camera roll. It will save all your things when you download the game back. But some games might make you restarted. But games like Fortnite and cod will save your accounts stuff.

It didn’t work for me. My PS4 has a Nyko Storage Expansion Hard Drive DataBank. Did the same thing with the unplugging, getting the dust out, plugging it back in, and turning on the power. But the same message came up for me. Anybody have tips on how to solve this issues?

So without opening the ps4 and you just let it sit it worked?
Disconnect everything, then dust it out as in pick it up and slightly and repeatedly tap it while it’s tilded, that worked for me
