I was remembering this song today, when I was riding from Russellville, Arkansas, back home into Northwest Arkansas, and I was caught in a downpour with no place to pull over until the storm clouds broke after about 20 miles on I-40. I was coming back from the 2016 39th Annual National Biker Roundup in Little Rock. So, I guess you can say that this song fits me, and what I was doing today, huh? LOL :)
Was driving to Dallas from NE Ohio a while back, as soon as I got into Texas over from the Arkansas line the skies opened up and spit out one of the worst thunder and lightning storms I had ever seen. Needless to say this song popped into my head as I white knuckled it on down to Dallas.
The three little words I always hated to here.........Last song people! Caught there show at least 10 times from 1975 - 1986 or 87. Can't remember it was the 70's after all. Whew!!! McNicols sports arena Denver Colorado. Boulder once I think, I Love these guys. Keep on rockin boys. !!!!!!!!

Ed bigtruck My comment was actually meant to be a compliment to Gary Richrath, I probably placed it as a reply under the wrong comment. Gary Richrath could play with all the vibrato he ever needed, provided by his left hand. Dave Amato required the use of a Whammy Bar to do the same thing.

I actually like this version better than the original. They have slowed things down considerably and with the current REO players, they are heavier. Great song.

there's reasons they slow them down...with age the voice seems to go....and with age you just don't have as much as you did 30 years ago..
