Some of us got a bit "bored" and wanted to go try something "spicy", so i suppose our SL-s came up with the idea of hot dropping into it. As for the heli adventures during the game. We had quite a few close calls, especially with some IMF's being North-West of Desna during the early portions of the game. As the gunner though, I managed to get put to sleep a few times, during our runs :)
This was sooooo good to watch. Absolutely LOVE seeing good comms and good teamwork, amazing job by the Marines. Would definitely enjoy seeing a One Life Event like this, it would be epic :D

Fr, no helicopter on earth can take a rocket to its rear without destroying it, if the rocket hit the front end it would likely kill the pilots but the helicopter may not catch on fire like it would to the rear. So at minimum the rocket kills the pilot or hits the fuel tanks and sets the chopper on fire.
I dont think a heli can take a single RPG round irl without catastrophic damage. The reason hueys flew with the doors open was so RPG rounds would fly through instead of splashing on the doors.
17:15 If they were mining where the tank/squad 8 was at this point - I would call it main camping. As much as it is a pain in the ass to mine near the first 2 points, it's not main camping.
TL;DR: MIL balance for R/AAS is off if you ask me. Any LAV crew with two games experience is wiping the floor with a BTR-80 and BMP1, then Abrams v T62? IMO uncon factions should get a vehicle buff and/or maybe an extra 50 tickets from the jump to balance the inevitability that MIL lose 3x the pieces of armor vs the Marines.
@@theslybaconirl I disagree, I think that unconventional factions already have enough if not too much armor, they are supposed to be unconventional after all. I'm not a fan of them having very similar playstyles as the conventional factions.
@@mimikal7548 I honestly thing the uncon factions should have less armor overall. Most irregular groups are running around in Hiluxs with small amount of usually BMPs and maybe a limited amount older T-tanks (T-55, 62, 72, etc,.) Give militia and insurgents more tickets, more light vehicle spawns (technicals and the light logi trucks mainly), more specialist slots (to deal with inevitable overmatch and give more options for engagements) and remove SOME of the heavy armor spawns. I feel like this would make the mil and insurgent factions feel more realistic, make uncon gameplay more rewarding, and just make matches more enjoyable. Idk probably wouldn't work but it sounds nice to me.
@@theslybaconirl It really comes down to the AT, MIL has an assload of AT now to help deal with that issue and Gorodok is mostly within easy range of RPGs but if the AT isn't doing their job it's going to be ugly.

The main camping question comes from the LIQ server, they call anything that's not directly on the objective main camping. This even applies if you jump out of a burning vic on the previous objective and don't walk forever to the new one.
Many missed opportunities for the Grad to spam rockets on flags. Sometimes strategic bursts are good (with good comms to SLs), other times you just need to full send the barrage.
When I run the grad I’ll do a 5 round ranging salvo and if get a good effect call I’ll dump the remainder or if I’m just firing based on marks cause no one talking I’ll just fire 5 here and there saves on time driving back n forth to main to rearm cause I’ve learned not to fire from the same area over and over
yeah ive been kicked for placing mines between the two last objectives on RAAS on potato fields before. not between the last one and main, no between two objectives. ridiculous

To be honest every squad match does look like the armor is just there for loosing tickets faster so that the game doesn't take 2 hours. They don't seem to have any impact on the outcome of a game.
It really depends on the ability of the team to mark targets, and the armor squads' attention. A good armored Squad should be a force multiplier for infantry, and should have at most 1 vehicle death for the match. Most armor players, unfortunately, just drive off into the boonies, looking for for the enemy armor to go pow pow pow at, and saying nothing when they die.
It's entirely dependent, as stated by the other comment, that it depends on player skill. Armor can be a massive ticket drain, but if the armor squad knows what it's doing, and it's coordinating with infantry effectively, it can be a huge game changer.
People have such a loose and wide definition of main camping on that server and it's the only reason I don't play there... I've seen MoiDawg ban people for being 1300 meters outside of the enemy main (not kidding).
This layout was diffinetly USMC sided there first 3 points were all in the same general area and near main ao easily defendable. Not to mention most USMC INF squads will have some form of Optic compared to Good ole irons for IMF. Needless to say any Game with IMF and regular forces in my opinion must have a buff on the IMF side maybe something like an advance HAB on the first cap and or the first cap already capped for them. I dont own a server but it could also been good if you can modify layers as an admin. It would be cool if they added ways you can add or subtract vehicles before the start.

this is clickbait, I just had a game with The best marine squad, (all inf) held a bridge from the start of the game, killed 4 apc's at the very start to then hold the bridge off from the entire enemy team whilst the rest of our team took the objective and pushed us past and won the game. XXX
The USMC in this match is not accurate… lol the marine corps no longer has any tank units… they disbanded all their tank battalions and sold all of their M1A1s …. Which are probably now in Ukraine lol.
