I've never been a "car person," so I don't really understand the lust for a new car with all the options every few years - but this is an area where people really need to do the math. Actually, she could probably make more as a cna at 25/hr than 60k. CNAs, like nurses, have many opportunities for overtime, and definitely the potential to be able to work more than one job. She’d only have to work an extra shift a week to make about what she was making as a restaurant manager. CNAs often do 12 hr shifts. I know a nurse who when he got gazelle intense to pay off his student loans he started working 2 full time jobs, six 12 hour shifts a week, so was working 72+ hrs a week. CNAs could do the same.
They can also do home care. So many Seniors want to stay in their homes now and weekend and night care is double regular shifts. This story actually just got crazier and crazier as time went on! I think she even said she had her CNA, just needed to renew and I couldn't figure out why she wasn't already doing that.

Hey Dave new to your videos and methods I currently have a lot of school debt but not the “experience” to make the degree worth it yet. In my area I can get a decent enough house that needs a little tlc for about 100k. My monthly for something like that depending on my down payment is only 5-700 dollars. Meanwhile in order to rent an apartment it’s going to be 8-900+ and in order to rent a room in a crappy house with crappy roommates it’s still 6-700/month. Should I take this mortgage on even with my school loans? I know you don’t like debt but this seems like the smartest option for me. (Taking the mortgage) I’d pay less monthly allowing me tackle my student loans and any money i am putting into the house I can consider an investment into the equity as my area has been getting better and better. Including the schools. With my income looking to only rise dramatically over the next couple years. The reason I don’t have much time to wait is my current living situation will end in December.
No, don’t do it!!! Get debt free first. If the water heater breaks at the rental it’s the owner’s problem. If it breaks in your house, it’s the owner’s problem 😑
The house won’t necessarily be cheaper per month because the utilities are usually higher, property taxes, you will likely need to purchase major appliances and you will be responsible for all of the maintenance. Plus you should look into what the insurance will be. One option might be to get a roommate but you need to be sure the person is responsible and that you can handle the bills alone if they bail.
Know how much you "need" to live? 25% more than you actually have right now! Unfortunately, the more some people make, the more they spend. Upgrade to a fancier car. Upgrade to a larger house (with all the accompanying expenses). Upgrade to the kinds of hotels they stay in when they travel. Upgrade to nicer vacations. Upgrade to joining a golf and country club, rather than playing at your local course.
Go ahead and double that 350k.... my husband and i are building now. It took 2 years to get to this point. And. We are not building a giant house. Try 750k if we are careful. 🤯 People who are not in this industry or situation have NO IDEA what the prices are. They are outrageous.
1:24:09 do those couples who are married have an income advantage because two salaries are combined, or do they each personally make more money than if they were single? That's never been clarified. If it's because it's two separate single "households" combined into one, then of course their combined dual income would be more as a "household" than compared to a single "household."

Bible principals to the Pastors question: ● “YOU received free, give free.” (Matthew 10:8) Jesus issued that instruction to his apostles when he sent them forth to preach the good news. ●Paul could have allowed himself to be a financial burden to his Christian brothers in Corinth. However, he worked with his own hands to support himself. (Acts 18:1-3) Thus, he could say with confidence that he had preached the good news to the Corinthians “without cost.”-1 Corinthians 4:12; 9:18. ●Christ’s ransom sacrifice also makes it possible for all Christians to serve as ministers of God. The apostle Paul wrote: “I became a minister of this [sacred secret] according to the free gift of the undeserved kindness of God.” (Ephesians 3:4-7) Having been called to this ministry by means of a provision they did not deserve or could not earn, true ministers of God could hardly expect to be paid materially for sharing the news of this provision with others.

It doesnt cost anything to do a consult or interview with a Smartvestor Pro. However getting an investment portfolio set up with a pro in your area does cost money. Smartvestor Pros are endorsed by Ramsey and must follow ethical standards, but they dont work for him. I interviewed 3 smartvestor pros in my area before deciding who to go with. I chose the one who I felt was the most genuine and who could provide the services I was looking for. My Smartvestor Pro helped me set up a Roth IRA, and he also is available to me anytime for financial counseling or advice. He is the one out of the 3 i interviewed who included financial counseling as part of their service. I pay him through fees that my investments make. Interview as many pros as you can. Of the 3 I interviewed, 1 of them had a horrible attitude, and the other would not include financial counseling/advice in my package. He wanted me to pay a rediculous amount. Take your time when picking your Smartvestor Pro.

Cost of owning the house is not just mortgage but also insurance, tax, ongoing repairs.
The guy getting divorced is in for a rude awakening. I feel bad for him.
Doesn’t sound fair she’s getting the house and the car and he gets debt ? Must be more to this …
Where can I invest to get a 10% return?
27:00 to 30:00 translation.." do whatever it Text to get that house out of your name."
NOT THE PREDATOR!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!
I about fell out when he said that! 😂 Poor Jade!😅
Is it me or do they have the same color shirt on?
Love the advice!!
32:42 Saving this for later :)
Who in the world can not live off of $9000 a month????
Someone who live a fancy life style. Yeah….it’s unreal!!!
Keeping up with the Joneses syndrome
“These ppls parents are cousins its just awful”🤣🤣🤣🤣
Go ahead and double that 350k.... my husband and i are building now. It took 2 years to get to this point.
And. We are not building a giant house. Try 750k if we are careful. 🤯
People who are not in this industry or situation have NO IDEA what the prices are. They are outrageous.
And that 750k is not including the land.
Great show. thank you.
What is it with financially illiterate men and trucks?
1:24:09 do those couples who are married have an income advantage because two salaries are combined, or do they each personally make more money than if they were single? That's never been clarified. If it's because it's two separate single "households" combined into one, then of course their combined dual income would be more as a "household" than compared to a single "household."
My first wife and I divorced in 96 I got primary custody of our daughter, and I also waved all child support decreed by the judge,NC
Preach George!
The Charlotte NC prospective buyer who thinks houses in NC cost 100-200k has not done his HW!! Esp not in Charlotte; biggest, most expensive city in the state!
Bible principals to the Pastors question:
● “YOU received free, give free.” (Matthew 10:8) Jesus issued that instruction to his apostles when he sent them forth to preach the good news.
HAHAHAHAH never heard that before but dang I'm gonna use it "Now you are one...mistake" LOL
To the guy who is getting a divorce. If he argues too much, the attorney is the only one who will win. He is young enough to rebuild.
Did Dave actually say that Jade’s box braids were a “Predator look?” As in the alien from the “Predator” sci-fi films? Or am I imagining things?
Omg! I literally had to rewind to see if I heard right 😮
Right?! Geez! Not cool.
😆😆😆😆😆😆
It was rude
28:17 one area not touched on is he is going to be reamed by lawyer fees and child support. Buckle in.
I'm 911 now Sir 😅
How can we put 1,000 a month into a Roth IRA when the maximum contribution is $6,500?
As you age the amt you can put in goes up.
Dave mean investment not Roth IRA.
2:00:00 Can she work somewhere that pays $15~$18 (many jobs available) while looking for a manager position?
That will bring $2k a month.
GREAT SHOW!!
That guy from alabama getting a divorce is effed royally
Yeah but they do it to themselves. 40 something yrs old with a big income. Barely anything in requirement, 150k small house no equity and just go out and buy an 80k truck lmao
Regarding student loans on the website you can designate the specific loan any overpayment amount should be applied to.
Not all of them!
The restaurant manager has too many excuses. Go to work
DAVE YOU CAN GO GET A HAIR TRANSPLANT AND THEN A HAIR CUT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME. WE LOVE YOU
But he doesn't want hair.
I would like to know what stocks to invest in VOOSPY. What are the International stocks that you use? If I get an investor pro, does that cost me money? Thanks.
If you allow Vanguard automated stuff to do it, it will cost you barely 0.15%
@50 years old the caller could work a 2nd job, get clear on her husband's pension ( which Dave interupted and ignored) + social security + interest earnings + scorched earth budgeting to get to over $500,000 cash net worth.
Wouldn’t she also get SS for him?my grandma and late uncle’s wife did.
Chaz, FL caller: I think it would be awesome if his gf worked her butt off and paid her own student loans before marriage. I think it would show courage, discipline and character and that behavior would make for a great partner for life imho 😁
I know someone who got hair graphs so it’s real haha. Pricey too.
25:58 to 26:09..." our first divorce "
So... TH-cam plan to remarry and then divorce again?
I’m not religious but it seems wrong to sell an app about praying. Capitalizing on people’s faith is weird.
