Pretty sure you're already far into this arc. Luffy is talking about wanting a musician in his crew since episode 45. He also say stuff about a talking skeleton as well. Oda is mad with the foreshadowing. FYI Remember, Luffy got his head streching out of the water since Arlong Park, It's a confirm that water just made a devil fruit user weakened not nulify their power like when Blackbeard touched them.
Sorry I am later, but Luffy wanted a musician since he meet Zoro or even before.

No, as far as I can tell, the only people who don't watch openings are:
1) People who have heard the OP few (2 - 5) or few dozen 24 - 60) times and just want the main dish; until the next OP comes out.
2) Reaction content creators
3) Insane people
4) Those who are rewatching the show for the 10th time.
Lol majority of one piece opening are full of spoilers. So if u don't want your experience to be ruined then definitely skip them otherwise everything will be boring as major upcoming powerups and scenes are in the openings
@@user-zf8on3ck9v I can agree to that, I know that Opening 3 starts half way into the Alabasta arc showing Robin on the crew, or the Current OPs showing literal content from that day's episode.
Dragon Ball Super also did the second one, and I hate it. I mean we are about to watch it and they spoiled half the episode in the opening, plus DBS and OP have a knack of having long openings with long reminders from last week's episode and short main content.
I would be fine with only 8 - 10 minutes of content if they didn't spoil the episode in the first 5 minutes of the 10 minute intro.
I am pretty sure I used to watch openings at least once, then I would skip them, now, I always skip them, even if I haven't seen them before.
Honestly, the biggest offender I saw(and part of what got me to stop watching them), was That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, that season 1 opening had spoilers for stuff that wasn't even in season 1, let alone all the season 1 spoilers it also had.
Obviously not going mention what it spoiled here, but if you haven't seen it yet, and decide to watch the anime, definitely skip that opening(which is shown at the end of episode 1 too).
I enjoyed the anime, but I am still bitter about those spoilers.
20:24 ba~ka~ you've seen this happen all the way back in Arlong Park. DF Users powers don't just go away when they fall in water, they just get weaker if they go knee deep in any form of water. rain and showers don't effect them though since they are just drops of water. Luffy can still stretch his arm out if his not in it and even then someone can grab his arm and pull and it would stretch.

Was just catching up to One Piece's latest episodes and realized how much less time of actual plot each episode has compared to before. But then I also realized that for reactors they will be able to put the whole episode in a video while meeting the 10minute mark, which is actually nice.

devil fruit users don't lose their abilities in water they just lose their energy when submerged, thus being unable to swim or active their powers, remember in Arlong Park when they stretched luffy neck out of the water so her could breath? In Alabasta when they were caught luffy lost his energy once that water was above his knees and around his waist, but they don't lose their powers or energy just being wet

When I first started watching one piece after a couple openings I stopped watching em. 1 they get spoilers and with my memory i felt like it lessened my experience lol. 2. I just wanted to get back into the story. But i watch all other anime openings 😂

Im up to date with one piece, but im rewatching thru reactions becoz 20 mins of episode a week aint enuff :/
At this point u prob get less than 10mins of actual story in each episode on these last 3 arcs. Makes it a pain when u're caught up so u have to wait a week for phew mins of actual plot, but for someone that is still catching up it won't be as bad at least.
Also there's the advantage that for reactors they can meet the 10mins of showing an episode mark and actually show the whole episode.

I never watch openings, endings or recaps. I feel like they are more like waste of minutes in the episode. Other people might love them. I don't.
For me it depends. Some opening are just works of art where as others are generic whatever’s.

I just skip past the intro every time, why bother watching/listening to the same low effort intro/song over and over again. I've got better things to do, like get the the plot. I also skip past all the damn recaps. One Piece is one of the flipping worst in that department for me, usually click about 4 minutes in on the progress bar, and if by some miracle the episode has already started, I just rewind a few seconds.
