Top 5 is BOLD, but I love bold! I just think it’s so strangely designed, everything just flows into the hangar and not much happens outside of the hangar, it’s so weird to me. Vault is slowly growing on me, I will say! Only because I’m enjoying it in Ranked
I can't stand getting into a house on either side and then the spawns immediately flip and I get killed from behind over and over. It's one of the worst BO6 maps for me.
@@brianrusso4592 that’s the problem with Babylon if you spawn on the wrong side. It literally makes the game unplayable. I remember being napalmed and sniped repeatedly for minutes because I spawned on the unfortunate side of the map last night. Worst map in the game IMO
Same for me too i didnt really like subsonic but its not the map itself just the mid hangar campers . I love payback first then would say second skyline even tho i hated skyline in the beginning i started to love it the more i play . Rest maps are kinda bad tbh this cod seems to have the worst maps in recent years. Tbh they can still earn it with the seasons but currently only maybe 5 maps i do like payback, vorkuta, skyline, delerict , nuketown , rest is bad or mostly meh.
We got a lot of maps, but they just don’t come close to being as good as some older maps. I really want original maps, but only if they’re good original maps, I’d much rather play older maps that I know play well at this point
Being a predominantly SnD player, this is the worst year for SnD maps. - Too much spillage between lanes. - Not enough medium-sized maps. - A lack of variety and pushes. Too me, maps now feel like arenas as opposed to environments that just happen to have a battle taking place.
I completely agree. I used to rip 3v3 Gamebattles SnD up to Cold War. The maps do not play well for Search in this game, even the Competitive Search maps are not fun to play. I know we're going to get some old maps return so we have those at least, but hopefully we can get some decent original maps as well before the games life cycle is over.
Snowy Nuketown is my favorite nuketown tbh. Also, I know they were already in Cold War, but damn this game would be amazing with Standoff, Hijacked, Raid, and Express. I’m glad they brought back Hacienda.
Vorkuta is the only one snow map in BO6 and that’s why I like to play it, even though it’s not the best one so far. Personally, I really hate Lowtown and derelict and usually skip them.
Honestly I just play hardpoint and it makes all the maps playable just because there is a common objective. But I’d say Payback really surprised me on how fun it is.
Fully agree, Hardpoint makes the maps play better because usually everyone will funnel to the objective, usually! Payback is great, it’s one of the few maps that feels made by an actual human being
@ I just think there’s a bit more flow. Ok in extraction it’s mainly in the hangar but it’s quite engaging. Lowdown has a couple of areas that always get attention. Red card just irks me.
That’s my thing with Extraction, the rest of the map just feels irrelevant. I can agree with Lowtown, it actually flows okay, but the water just makes me angry and the ladder clipping me to death in the clip just pushed it over the edge 😂
@@BQSomthinDifff My eyes just can't see enemies in the B-area (the shop in the middle) of the map. Too much clutter and a million angles behind the counters, half-walls and shelves (plus the the awkward elevation on the platform in the back) while the entry-points to the area are really narrow.
My top 3 maps are definitely Subsonic, Skyline a Derelict. The hangar door opening on Subsonic at any time is genius i was so blown away when i saw it on launch as my very first game was on that map haha. The map interaction is underrated, you can’t just put an elevator on red card that takes three business days to call down and call it a map interaction, its so useless compared to the hangars.
@@martinmonroe7082 The hangar doors are a cool way to interact with the map. Something they’ve really gone away from over the years, but I don’t mind it on Subsonic. To be honest, I totally forgot about the Red Card elevator 😂
@@BQSomthinDifffI think Black Ops 6 could do with some kind of classic compilation mode, a rotation of old fan favourites. Would be a task to put in I'm sure though
Fire vid man! Only constructive criticism I can give you is to switch out the cheesy Hallmark commercial music for something more fitting for a military shooter vid lol
Hacienda is one of my least favorite maps of all time and was literally the only BO4 map I refused to play on. That being said I mostly play Kill Confirmed and not competitive. Im sure it plays well on objective modes but its egregious for Kill Confirmed and TDM.
Hacienda is a great map. I quit playing COD after Ghosts (with BO3 being an exception) so i missed BO4 for the most part. I love Hacienda in this game.
Black Ops 4 was a great game, unfortunately a lot of people didn't play because of Fortnite, but it was such a well rounded game with great weapons, maps, and camos
Problem is that most of these maps are not 3 lanes maps, and a good 3 lane map has very few intersections between the lanes, not just an open space with a bunch of things in the middle. But i'm starting to appreciate em since they all play fairly good in s&d, (especially hideout) and that's all i care about
You described it perfectly, there’s no flow, it’s just a bunch of stuff thrown onto the maps. I don’t play Search pubs very often, only Ranked. The maps play well?
Not sure if it’s just a HC problem or not but I like Babylon as a map, but I have played so many matches where a couple people sprinted over to our spawn and literally spawn trapped the team until everyone quit; and I’ve been on both sides of that action, and I don’t enjoy seeing either scenario going down. Either they need a ‘if enemy is within x meters do not spawn’ mechanic or spawning players should get a 3-4 second invulnerability period. I’ve been in games where I have been spawn killed before I even loaded back into the game.
The spawns are pretty bad in this in general, this gets highlighted on a map like Babylon because of its design. That spawn trap is unbearable and it should never be that bad. Flip me in the other teams base, I don’t care, it shouldn’t happen the way it does
The big maps in this game are so terrible it’s just open space like the devs didn’t even think about how the maps would even work just made them look cool. Vorkuta is decent and hacedina is good but recard protocol vault low town and rewind make me puke
Love it!! I think the bottom maps are quite obvious and then the top 10 maps can kind of go either way depending on each person's preference of a "good" Call of Duty map. Love the list though, thanks for sharing
I think half the issue isn't the maps, it's the weapons. Scud is a great example for this- you hop up on the radar building with a sniper and get lasered by someone the far side of the map with an SMG. Nuketown- the bullet penetration through the houses is a joke, but that's the weapons, not the map. There are bad maps, but the ridiculous weapons just emphasise what is already a bad game.
That's a time to kill issue more than anything and Black Ops 6 has very similar time to kill to the last few CoDs. I actually prefer slower TTK games for this reason. The weapons are actually pretty balanced this year in my opinion, like you can pick anything up and have a good game with it, but I get what you're saying. Everything can feel OP at times
i really feel you on your top three. but babylon we have to acknowledge the spawn trap where the 'A' flag is in domination. Personally, I think that ONE spawn trap ruins it for me --- even when i'm slaughtering people and racking up 12-kill streaks and LMGing that sad, tiny house in the corner. It just feels wrong to me. Maybe it's just spawn logic, but the map is so small that if not there, then WHERE? Idk, maybe it's just me, but because of that singular spawn problem, Babylon is my single least-favorite map in the entire game. I hear you on the Shipment comparison, but Babylon is the only map i'll just straight-up quit mid-game when I see I've got a team not playing objective and I quickly realize i'm just going to go 7-27 because I can't teleport from that spawn to the other end of the universe over at C.
I 100% get that and I should have mentioned it here. When that happens and it happened a lot at the start of the lifecycle the map was unplayable, which I think I mentioned I thought it was the worst map in the game at release, but I actually haven’t run into that issue when playing it after Season 1, I’m sure it’s still there, but I don’t see it or make it happen when I’m playing Babylon anymore, but I totally understand!!
Yeah I feel you. Recently my team was spawning in that house and getting napalmed and sniped. We literally couldn’t leave spawn without dying so I just quit. Red Card is also way too big and boring to play. So honestly whenever I get Red Card or Babylon I leave the lobby and queue up a new game 😂
I tend to prefer Infinity Ward games as I like mid-range maps and they do that better than Treyarch. Long maps are too campy and the engagements are too low. Small maps can be fun and are good for camo grinding but there's no option for tactical play and you end up losing score streaks to random grenades. That said, some smaller maps are well designed and play great. As someone who prefers TDM and KC to objective based modes, here's my list: Top Payback Babylon Subsonic Nuketown Mid Skyline Extraction Derelict Protocol Vorkuta Hideout Rewind Lowtown Lobby Quit Vault Hacienda Scud Red Card
Yeah, deathmatch modes on the bigger maps are so bad and can get to the time limit so your list makes perfect sense! I used to be a bigger fan of IW games, but they’ve gone so far downhill and made some very questionable choices for their games!
Personally, i love Red Card, but thats because im a Control player, and bad maps in other modes are typically good for Control (thats my theory anyways).
@@kurtispittman2103 hey man, you like what you like. I’m not gonna sit here and tell you it’s wrong. I think Control is bad in this game overall, but if you have fun playing it, that’s all that matters!
I dont hate Lowtown because the waterways offer tactical options for shuffling around the map and flanking. In SnD it always plays out quite different, and the amount of time each team dedicated to repositioning, can make or break your attack. Lowtown can be campy at times, but there are always options in Pubs to push through or flank just fine. I almost always detest small maps. In fact Babylon is my least favorite map in BO6. But somehow i have an inverse feeling for Subsonic. I think the fact you are not always potentially under fire from 4 directions makes the gunfights more engaging to me. The spawntraps and dying 1 second after spawning is unacceptable. Hacienda and Skyline are the best maps in BO6 overall imo.
Yeah, the small map thing has taken me a bit to love. The Small Map Moshpit in MWIII was great, there was actually a decent mix of some GOOD small maps. The Babylon spawn trap is absolutely wild, I haven't been a part of it in a while, but to be honest, I never get Babylon when playing Pubs anymore. Hacienda is great. Black Ops 4 had some great maps that would flow well in this game. Excited to see what maps get brought back in future seasons!
If you notice, the bad maps have almost no symmetry. Red Card, Skud, Extraction, Vorkuda. I don't even care to get the names right. They all suck because there's no symmetry and thus one team always has the advantage. They also are poorly designed even if they're a three-lane. You literally have to watch 360° of yourself, because there's never any side side. You can ALWAYS be caught off guard due to too many ways to get to one place. Seriously why did they pretty much take a real place and then turn it into a cod map? They all look like a real place and then they put borders around it and called it a map. That's not what we want in a cod map. The maps need to have good flow and an even layout. Literally red card is 1/4 of a football arena. So one side is the outside and the other side is the stands.... how's that symmetrical? It's stupid. Notice how Skyline, Derelict, Subsonic, Babylon all basically have three lanes and are symmetrical. How do you fuck that up?
@BQSomthinDifff Definitely seems like they get the map from a real place instead of designing it for a video game specifically. Why is Extraction a map with ONE tower on ONE side of the map? Whichever side has the tower gets an instant advantage. Then the other team is forced to spawn in the back corner of the map cuz they decided to make the map L shaped for some reason
Stakeout in my opinion is the best map in the game they cooked with that one. I can never get bored of it it’s soo fun and engaging throughout the entire game!🔥
Red Card is a huge map will agree with that but i really like the design how it looks. It’s a cool map in my opinion, vorkuta scud & derelict are the 3 worst.
It’s a cool looking map with a cool location, but Red Card doesn’t play well in a majority of modes, unfortunately. The maps in this game definitely leave a lot to be desired
Which is a very important factor of a map. I largely focus on how maps play, but if they don’t look good it’s an immediate turn off. Treyarch usually make good looking maps
Love that for you. Honestly, I have too, for the most part, but that doesn;t change the fact that a lot of them aren't good maps. Hopefully Season 2 will bring some good ones for a nice change of pace
If was reverse boosting and getting easy lobbies maybe I’d like some of these maps too. Subsonic is the only one that’s playable. And scud is very reminiscent of airfield, does anyone agree
@ that’s a fair point to bring up 😂. I’d probably put it between scud and rewind. I think it favors the tall building side too much. Rest of the list was pretty spot on imo
Totally fair point. I find it pretty balanced that way, like I can spawn trap or be spawn trapped on either side, but they're both pretty easy to get out (with a competent team). Putting it at 6 might have been slightly aggressive, but I stand by that it's a good map
Lowtown is my favorite map actually. So many ways to flank. easy to move across without being beamed by someone. And it just flows well every time I play it. I know im the minority, ofc, and NO i dont camp, i hate campers. Ive just only ever had great matches on that map.
That’s the beauty of this. Everyone likes maps for different reasons. Thanks for saying why you like Lowtown, I don’t agree with you 😜, but I respect your opinion. Any others feel out of place to you?
@BQSomthinDifff A lot of the other ones on your list are solidly placed, except for, in my opinion, Babylon. It would be a great map, but there's so many tiny dark holes that people hide in, and for some reason, I get spawn killed more than shipment on that map. It's probably just my luck with matchmaking, idk, but despite my overall 1.7k/d, I've never gone positive on that map 😂
Yeah, Babylon is mostly hit and miss, it fills that spot of super small and chaotic that we all need nowadays. I didn’t like it at first, but it quickly grew on me! 1.7?? Humble brag!! Good shit, I’m sitting over here with a 1.4 thinking I’m amazing 😆
Protocol is my most hated map ever in a COD game , i cant find anyone , people are just camping top houses ..... But i actually like Red Card , it flows so well with me
I think Red Card and Rewind can “feel” huge at 6v6 just based on everything being so spread out. You don’t get into that many engagements depending on the game mode. Hardpoint = lots of engagements. TDM = less engagements. Fully map and mode dependant
Putting lol at the end of it doesn’t make it any less hurtful 😔 but no, seriously, Subsonic is a fun map. Maybe not one of the most well designed, but super fun. No. 2 maaay have been a touch over zealous, but I still think it’s a good map
@ I wasn’t trying to be hurtful man, I enjoyed the video and even gave you a like. Just talking a little COD trash. Keep doing what you’re doing you’re gonna be big in no time 👊
I think derelict is one of the worst because of how one sided the map is if you start on the wrong side you can call it a gg because you're gonna get cooked
I honestly find both sides kind of equal. Especially if you have a decent team alongside you, traps are fairly easy to get out of. If playing solo, then yes, 100% agree traps can be super tough to get out of on Derelict
Blops6 did something i thought not possible until now. It made me hate nuketown. They've fucked with the spawns so bad I've spawned next to the enemy at least once in every game I've played.
Decent ranking, I agree with all except 2. I quite like extraction, I can't explain it but I always enjoy the games I play. And Derelict is awful, it's basically just one long lane
😂 thank you! Definitely a tough one to put together. None of the maps fall into that “Really Good” category, but none of them fall into that “Laughably Bad” category either imo. Just the most mid maps ever assembled 😂
You have to give Sledgehammer credit for what they did in Vanguard with Blitz. You take some of the bigger maps and up the player count and they play very different. It's unfortunate the execution was so bad in Vanguard. I think had they got the matchmaking engine to work efficiently we would be seeing a blitiz option here and the bigger maps would be much more fun
Cool idea, very poorly executed for sure. I’ll give Sledgehammer props over last year, the amount of support MWIII got was incredible. They set the bar so high
i''d swap extraction for protocol and then swap round Hideout to be at number 8, not much of a derilict fan and skyline is overrated imo but apart from that i agree with most of this.
Hacienda nostalgia from BO4 had me blinded a little bit when I made this, not gonna lie. Definitely doesn’t play as well in this game, but I still think it’s a good map
Honestly Scud is in my top 5 idc what people say. Red Card is easily my least favorite, also really dislike Hacienda for sum reason. (i didnt play bo4) Skyline is a modern classic, we need skyline 24/7.
They seem to only be giving us Stakeout 24/7, which I can play for like 20 minutes; and Nuketown 24/7, which I love, but it does get old eventually. Season 2 should bring some new maps and some new 24/7 playlists!
What's weird is that I actually enjoy playing Vorkuta. Probably because I got very lucky and had some good sprees with the bat lol. Another thing: imo, I'd put Red card in dead last. Wayyyy to much open space. It's hard to find any combat. And lastly, I don't like Hacienda. Too many bad times
All very valid takes! Lowtown was actually not in dead last until the map clipped me to death 😂 Hacienda is pretty hit and miss. A weird map for them to bring back to be honest, I feel it’s either loved or hated!
I feel like it's pretty split in the community. It was an interesting choice from Black Ops 4 to bring back. There were some better maps from that game that could play well in Black Ops 6
@ yea like if you look at Cold War maps, they totally feel like black ops maps. Especially looking at their dlc maps like pines mall, apocalypse, and amerika
Extraction is a big map with so much unused space, it just feels small because everything flows to the helicopter hangar, but if you account for all of the unused space it's actually quite big. And I understand people like Lowtown, but the general consensus is that it's not a good Call of Duty map, plus it clipped me to death at 1:26 😂
Babylon, Skyline, Gala and especially Stakeout are the only maps in this game I actually enjoy. This is insane. Worst map collection of any CoD game for me (havent played Ghost, though).
The Treyarch we knew and loved for their map development is no longer with us. Ghosts suprisingly had some great maps, but some terrible ones as well 😂 that's CoD for ya
In my own opinion me and my friends have all collectively agreed subsonic and skyline are trash! The spawn killing and trapping in those maps are dog water. Nobody has fun. Its TOO MUCH engagement its not balanced at all. Same goes for Subsonic, you can easily get trapped and its over. Everytime its a vote ive seen many more lobbies go for a random map then play on those 2 maps. Besides that this list is pretty good!! These maps arent perecent but some are extremely fun!!!
As a knife only player, I think Lowtown is the best (or second best behind Vault) map in the game. Good rush routes, ability to outplay, easy crossmap off the start, etc. I should also mention I only play Search and Destroy gamemode, so that may factor in.
Lowkey i think lowtown is the best map on the game i like lowton i think it flows quite well and if im bored i like trolling the enemy team in the well on b flag watching them confused at where i am😂
Voroska or the snow map is better then people give it credit for. I wish people voted for it more in matchmaking. I love it for HC Free for all and HC TDM
I don’t hate the look of it, it’s flawed design wise. The spawn traps are so bad, they’re very tough to get out of. That’s more of an issue with the spawns in this game to be honest. Love that you’re having fun on it when it’s played
No lie I would put it in the top 5. Probably number 2. Payback is real hot right now. That would be number 1. Or in fact I would say StakeOut is actually number 1. Just my opinion
I want people to give their opinion! I don’t include Strike maps on here, but I actually can’t stand Stakeout. I understand why people like it though, just not for me!
@ bruh it’s a new entire game. They stated what wasn’t going to black ops 6 from modern warfare. It’s basically like playing Shipment. And Shipment was basically there entire game for two games straight.
Lowtown is great, you are out of your mind. I agree that Extraction sucks, but it definitely feels like a Treyarch map, there’s a specific Black Ops 2 map that is feels like a smaller version of, I forgot the name of. Subsonic is easily the worst map in the game, it’s completely unplayable
It’s called an exaggeration to show my dislike for water on CoD maps 😂 it’s realistically like 15% water. Far too much for a Call of Duty map with poor underwater gunplay imo
Derelict is way too high even tho i’ve had some great games on there, Ive had alot of games where i just end up backing out, Vorkuta deserves more loves, great list tho
@@BQSomthinDifff Stakeout is a 6v6 map tho, all the faceoff maps are, I guess im one of the people that like the smaller maps, you stay in the action and get plenty if kills. Whenever that map pops up, if gets like 10 votes lol I think most people enjoy it over the large maps where I run around all over just to find an enemy lol
It’s a Strike map, yes I know you can play 6v6 Faceoff on it, but it’s a strike map not designed for 6v6. That’s why it’s not included here. I know people enjoy the hell out of it! Personally, I can’t stand it
No it's absolutely insane to put subsonic at the #2 spot.. I'd rather play nuketown forever then play subsonic! It's such cancer and dare I say it unplayable!! That’s all I can remember off the top my head besides the fact you nailed it with skyline number 1 I hate when that gets out voted lol
Y'all didn't play maps like stonehaven, siege, wasteland, derail and underpass back in the days, right? Red card would be a top tier map on mw2 and mw3
Hideout I have fun with, Extraction I get some great games on, but I just don’t think it’s a good CoD map. Most of these maps aren’t “good” CoD maps, but it’s a fun exercise to rank them
I still agree with most of your list but I don’t think any are bad, and I think the reason you dislike the bigger maps is because everyone camps nowadays because they play the game for stats rather than fun, so you barely see anyone. With friends they are all good maps
Yup, I stated this multiple times in the video so I obviously 100% agree. The popularity of small maps have ruined bigger maps for me just due to the number of engagements you can get into. I want fast paced, high action! I’ll still play the bigger maps, but they’re definitely not nearly as fun as some of the smaller ones
@ yeah I totally agree but what I meant was the difference is SO noticeable because of how immobile people are on larger maps. The difference in encounters should be small but it’s absolutely huge
Lowtown is bad but shouldve been a few from the bottom. Also i have had 0 good games on hacienda it plays so frustratingly slow i dont remember it being so slow in bo4 but im also just playing terribly on it since in came to bo6 idk why but i wouldve put it towards the bottom maybe around 10
It’s such a good map in Ranked compared to what we had. I’m also blinded by nostalgia at times! I find in normal 6v6 modes where people don’t play OBJ it plays super slow!
Mad how opinion is so different just finished the vid and skyline wouldnt even make my top 5 and i cant be alone concidering most the time it wont get voted. My top 5 is babylon, sub sonic ,hideout, vorkuta, Scud
It’s also crazy that we’re all having a totally different experience, Skyline ALWAYS gets voted if it’s an option in my lobbies. CoD splits us all up into groups and we just play within it 😂 Scud and Vorkuta in the top 5?? Spicy takes! I love it!
@BQSomthinDifff I only play hq tho bro so that will make a massive difference and that added into everyone's different skill brackets makes everything so different

Yeah, they brought them back, but they're good maps. Let's just put them in every year at this point, screw it! 😂
@ I unironically agree with that. BO2 really hit hard with their launch maps.
BO3 also had some amazing maps. Their map pool is so deep, honestly
They're great maps, but I'd rather have mostly new maps with some remakes of maps that need it. Magma, Hydro, and Vertigo would be cool.
Payback is great, it’s one of the few maps that feels made by an actual human being
Hands down red card is the worst! Lowdown and extraction are so much better than red card.
So much better is a stretch 😉 why do you think they’re so much better?

BO3 underwater gunplay was perfect 👌
Definitely hate red card. Hope one day we actually get firing range from BO1
Treyarch’s map pool is so deep. They should always include fan faves so we can avoid situations like this year.
I was going for the chill vibe! 😆 I’ll look for something more fitting. Thanks for being here. Appreciate you!
The issue with Derelict is there really aren't lanes because of the east west openings. It's just chaos but not fun chaos.
Hacienda is one of my least favorite maps of all time and was literally the only BO4 map I refused to play on. That being said I mostly play Kill Confirmed and not competitive. Im sure it plays well on objective modes but its egregious for Kill Confirmed and TDM.
Phenomenal competitive map, awful pubs map! I can’t imagine how bad Kill Confirmed is on that map… my god!
I feel like the only player who enjoys red card haha. Good ranking mate.
Thanks brother! You actually might be the only one 😂 keep voting for it!
Nope I do to😁
I agree with the top 7 being the best maps.
I personally like Payback and Babylon most as i seem to have more fun on them.
At the end of the day, that's all that matters. You have to have fun playing CoD!
Vorkuta being that low is crazy
You think it’s better or worse?
He’s right Vorkuta is bad the only thing going for it is nostalgia from BO1
In name only, nothing about the Vorkuta mission in BO1 really hits when I load into Vorkuta in BO6
That’s a fact
the map is terrible
Great vid!
Thank you! 🙏
red card is one of the worst maps ever
Correct! 😆 it gets worse and worse as the year goes on too
Problem is that most of these maps are not 3 lanes maps, and a good 3 lane map has very few intersections between the lanes, not just an open space with a bunch of things in the middle.
@@BQSomthinDifff yeah, without spawn problems maps like derelict, rewind and vorkuta are actually good
That’s awesome! And yeah, spawns are a big problem in this game, largely due to map design
I’ve heard a few people say the maps are A.I. generated and then polished by the devs… could explain why some of them very off!
My Ranking 6v6 :
Red Card 0/10
Protocol 2/10
Rewind 3/10
Lowtown 3/10
Vault 4/10
Scud 5/10
Hacienda 5/10
Extraction 5/10
Hideout 6/10
Skyline 7/10
Payback 7/10
Derelict 7,5/10
Nuketown 8/10
Babylon 8,5/10
Subsonic 9/10
Strike Maps :
Gala 3/10
Warhead 3/10
Pit 4/10
Heirloom 7/10
Racket 8/10
Stakeout 8,5/10
Love it!! I think the bottom maps are quite obvious and then the top 10 maps can kind of go either way depending on each person's preference of a "good" Call of Duty map. Love the list though, thanks for sharing
If Lowtown gets voted, I quit. I can put up with Redcard. Lowtown with SBMM is nightmare fuel.
Also, I also like Scud. Kind of feels like a B side WaW map.
1 Skyline
2 Payback
3 Babylon
4 Vorkuta
Ouuuu Vorkuta at 4 👀 that’s spicy!
i really feel you on your top three. but babylon we have to acknowledge the spawn trap where the 'A' flag is in domination.
Honestly, fair! 😂 😂
As someone who prefers TDM and KC to objective based modes, here's my list:
Top
Payback
Babylon
Subsonic
Nuketown
Mid
Skyline
Extraction
Derelict
Protocol
Vorkuta
Hideout
Rewind
Lowtown
Lobby Quit
Vault
Hacienda
Scud
Red Card
I've never been spawn killed in any map ever more than Skyline. Drops it way down the list for me.
Really eh? I've never really been spawn killed on Skyline. There are so many worse spawn traps on these maps.
Low town and extraction last… I’ll stop u right there this is the most correct list out of all just by that
I saw the first part of your comment and thought you were about to rage at me 😂
I dont hate Lowtown because the waterways offer tactical options for shuffling around the map and flanking.
The map clipping you to death at 1:28 🤣
Very fitting end to the Lowtown portion!
They’ve been doing it for years now, they don’t know how to make good maps anymore 😆 it’s actually crazy!
I wish I had your lobbies
Why you gotta go and insult my skill? Come on man lol
Stakeout in my opinion is the best map in the game they cooked with that one. I can never get bored of it it’s soo fun and engaging throughout the entire game!🔥
Hideout is one of the best one, it's amazing
Hideout grew on me so much over Season 1. I love it now!
@ That is true , i suppose i just like maps for simply how it looks & that only
Which is a very important factor of a map. I largely focus on how maps play, but if they don’t look good it’s an immediate turn off. Treyarch usually make good looking maps
I've been having a lot of fun with these maps
Love that for you. Honestly, I have too, for the most part, but that doesn;t change the fact that a lot of them aren't good maps. Hopefully Season 2 will bring some good ones for a nice change of pace
If was reverse boosting and getting easy lobbies maybe I’d like some of these maps too. Subsonic is the only one that’s playable. And scud is very reminiscent of airfield, does anyone agree
Subsonic is far from the only playable map, I'm sorry you're having such a miserable time!
The fact derelict is at 6 is insane.
I think that's more of a testament to how bad the maps actually are 😂 but Derelict is a good map in my opinion. Where would you put it?
Everyone hating on red card in the comments. In ranked I actually really like the map for hardpoint and snd. Protocol is my team's instant veto
Red Card ALWAYS gets vetoed when I play. I wouldn't even mind it. I'm sick of playing Vault and Protocol
My attempt at a list:
16. Lowtown
15. Red Card
14. Extraction
13. Scud
12. Rewind
11. Hideout
10. Vorkuta
9. Protocol
8. Vault
7. Babylon
6. Hacienda
5. Derelict
4. Nuketown
3. Skyline
2. Payback
1. Subsonic
Great list, slight variation of mine so I love it!
Protocol is my most hated map ever in a COD game , i cant find anyone , people are just camping top houses ..... But i actually like Red Card , it flows so well with me
Protocol was one of the biggest let downs in the game for me so I get that!
My list, feel free to roast me:
1. Skyline
2. Nuketown
3. Derelict
4. Hideout
5. Payback
6. Scud
7. Hacienda
8. Babylon
9. Red Card
10. Subsonic
11. Extraction
12. Lowtown
13. Vault
14. Rewind
15. Protocol
16. Vorkuta
I think they need an 8v8 for these huge maps
But then some are so small that 8v8 would be insane 😂 there’s no middle ground
@ 🤣🤣🤣🤣 im just trynna help them but its a lil tuff🤣🤣🤣
They might be too far gone 😂
These maps are small overall there aren't any huge maps
I think Red Card and Rewind can “feel” huge at 6v6 just based on everything being so spread out. You don’t get into that many engagements depending on the game mode. Hardpoint = lots of engagements. TDM = less engagements. Fully map and mode dependant
Don’t ever make lists again lol subsonic at 2nd is diabolical
Putting lol at the end of it doesn’t make it any less hurtful 😔 but no, seriously, Subsonic is a fun map. Maybe not one of the most well designed, but super fun. No. 2 maaay have been a touch over zealous, but I still think it’s a good map
@ I wasn’t trying to be hurtful man, I enjoyed the video and even gave you a like. Just talking a little COD trash. Keep doing what you’re doing you’re gonna be big in no time 👊
😆 it’s all good brother, I appreciate you being here. I use humour as a defense mechanism so I don’t take anything too serious!
Couldn’t agree more with last place
It’s so bad 🤦♂️
I think derelict is one of the worst because of how one sided the map is if you start on the wrong side you can call it a gg because you're gonna get cooked
I honestly find both sides kind of equal. Especially if you have a decent team alongside you, traps are fairly easy to get out of. If playing solo, then yes, 100% agree traps can be super tough to get out of on Derelict
Blops6 did something i thought not possible until now. It made me hate nuketown. They've fucked with the spawns so bad I've spawned next to the enemy at least once in every game I've played.
Black Ops 6 in general is just not in a good spot right now. Praying for a good Season 2 update!
Decent ranking, I agree with all except 2.
I quite like extraction, I can't explain it but I always enjoy the games I play.
And Derelict is awful, it's basically just one long lane
Extraction has definitely grown on me since making this. I still don't think it's a good map though
Well I have to give you credit, not sure I could make this list. I would get stuck trying to break a 10 way tie for rank 15….
😂 thank you! Definitely a tough one to put together. None of the maps fall into that “Really Good” category, but none of them fall into that “Laughably Bad” category either imo. Just the most mid maps ever assembled 😂
Extractions one of my favourites..... So is Vorkuta.
Extraction has been slowly growing on me since I made this. Vorkuta, not so much
Why no stakeout?
Such a tough one to put together, but thank you! Extraction has grown on me and Hideout has as well. If Skyline isn't your No. 1, what is?
@ subsonic is number one for sure for me
Skyline is absolutely great. Hacienda isn't a great map to me but other than that I agree overall mostly
@BQSomthinDifff the map clipped you?!
Fair enough for #16 then
Right at the end of the Lowtown clip you see it 😂 I was like “okay, you’re dead last”
Lowdown being the worst map on your list makes me trust your opinion greatly
Can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not, but if it’s not, it’s always great to see a fellow Lowtown hater
Is it just me that absolutely hates Hacienda? Like I genuinely don’t enjoy playing it like 50% of the time I quit before the match starts
I feel like it's pretty split in the community. It was an interesting choice from Black Ops 4 to bring back. There were some better maps from that game that could play well in Black Ops 6
Extraction is a very good map.... All the other are more less ok in the position they are
It’s definitely growing on me!
Half the maps feel like modern warfare maps.
You think so? Fair enough. They don't really feel like classic Treyarch maps that's for sure.
@ yea like if you look at Cold War maps, they totally feel like black ops maps. Especially looking at their dlc maps like pines mall, apocalypse, and amerika
Lowtown at 16 and saying extraction is big, lets me know EVERYTHING i need know about your map taste
Extraction is a big map with so much unused space, it just feels small because everything flows to the helicopter hangar, but if you account for all of the unused space it's actually quite big. And I understand people like Lowtown, but the general consensus is that it's not a good Call of Duty map, plus it clipped me to death at 1:26 😂
Whooaaaa wasn’t expecting lowtown first. I think it’s mid
The map clipping me to death really threw it over the edge 😂
These maps are faaar from perfect, but 100% agree, they can be extremely fun!
As a knife only player, I think Lowtown is the best (or second best behind Vault) map in the game. Good rush routes, ability to outplay, easy crossmap off the start, etc. I should also mention I only play Search and Destroy gamemode, so that may factor in.
Knife only?? You guys still exist? That's awesome!! I can definitely see how it would be fun in your eyes.
@BQSomthinDifff Lmao yea we still exist. A good amount of still running. GhostOfCaldera, the Knifing Legends, Mr Knives Only, etc.
I used to watch Knives Only a lot. Knifing content is so fun to watch, keep it up brother
@BQSomthinDifff that's funny, Mr Knives Only is probably my best friend on the game. Much love with your content 💪
Lowkey i think lowtown is the best map on the game i like lowton i think it flows quite well and if im bored i like trolling the enemy team in the well on b flag watching them confused at where i am😂
It's great for getting lost, I think if I played it more I would like it more, but it never gets voted 🤷♂️
Stakeout is the best. Then the bank map is fire too
Voroska or the snow map is better then people give it credit for.
Honestly hate me all you want, but i love all maps equally, so whatever the game picks for selection i wont be complaining! :3
The world needs more people like you. Sending good vibes your way!
This dude was 8 years old when BO2 released. Most of the maps are dog water but I like Vault and Subsonic
@@robertmckinley-qm3vz I can guarantee you I was not 8 years old playing BO2 😂 😂
nailed it
YES!
Scud that low? No way
Where would you put it?
Carrier? Is that the BO2 map? Subsonic is a bangout, it’s so much fun!
85% water. You need to understand how percentages work.
It’s called an exaggeration to show my dislike for water on CoD maps 😂 it’s realistically like 15% water. Far too much for a Call of Duty map with poor underwater gunplay imo
Derelict absolutely sucks for me tbh. Agree with most of the rest
It can be pretty hit and miss if we’re being honest, but it’s mostly hit for me!
Skyline S-Tier
the best map in bo6 and it’s almost impossible to make a better map than it in this game at least
It just feels more like a CoD map than any of the other ones if that makes sense!
@ It just looks like a map from BO1 And BO2 design and layout wise but with newer graphics and engine
Derelict is way too high even tho i’ve had some great games on there, Ive had alot of games where i just end up backing out, Vorkuta deserves more loves, great list tho
Derelict was tough to place and the fact that I’ve had a lot of good games on it factored heavily into it
Where the heck is Stakeout??? My fav map in the game!!! Get loads of kills and am in the action right away!! I could play Stakeout 24/7 all day!
I didn’t cover any Strike maps, only 6v6 maps! But Stakeout is unbearable imo 😂 I get why people like it, but it’s not for me!
Literally anytime it's picked I'm just gone from the lobby- even before its chosen if its getting the most votes- I despise subsonic it's just probably one of the worst cod maps ever made-
Nuketown forever would be such a harsh punishment for someone. I can't even imagine!!
Everyone forgot about Stakeout? It’s one of my top 5 maps for sure but it seems like everyone forgets about it?
It’s not a core 6v6 map, it’s a Strike map so it’s not included in my list. Nor are any of the other strike maps.
Give over these maps are fantastic.
isn’t stakeout technically a 6v6 map
It's a Strike map so technically its just a 2v2 map, but Faceoff modes lets you play it 6v6
Disagreed with a bunch but you spot on with number 1
Thanks for the comment man. What specifically do you disagree with? Throw your opinion in the ring
@@BQSomthinDifffIk I’m in the minority lol but i actually like lowtown I do agree what you said about the b spot tho way to many entrances there and I hear ya on the water but it’s avoidable not quite as bad as you made it sound. And I like exaction too the fact you had red card over them I strongly disagree with lol red card sucks. And you didn’t put them really high but protocol and hideout might be my least favorite maps besides red card. That’s all I can remember off the top my head besides the fact you nailed it with skyline number 1 I hate when that gets out voted lol
red card might actually be the worst map in cod history
Santa Sena Border Crossing would like a word
Y'all didn't play maps like stonehaven, siege, wasteland, derail and underpass back in the days, right? Red card would be a top tier map on mw2 and mw3
Trust me, I played them, I agree they're all terrible!
Besides subsonic and skylime , the s1 maps are 5x better then the launch maps
Gotcha! Yeah, that makes sense. Still boggles my mind that people can play that way and find it enjoyable, but to each their own I suppose
bruh this tier list is just largest to smallest maps
It actually almost works out that way 😂 not my intention!
What about stakeout?
I didn't include the Strike maps, but I know the people love it!
I want Stakeout back
I actually liked Racket much more than Stakeout, but I'm sure Stakeout 24/7 will be back soon
I haven’t played HQ in this game yet. Does it play well?
@@BQSomthinDifff there's less sbmm because smaller player pool, turn cross play off aswell for added benefits and tbf there's constant action on it.
Anything with less SBMM is a win in my eyes
