About the "snowboard skins" they were actually supposed to be skins based on or for the PVE. I remember them showing those skins a a long time ago when they talked about story mode.
They showed those skins originally whilst talking about the Watchpoint pack. Im pretty sure it was intended to come with it and I remember seeing advertisement in direct for it
They're unable to make one Venture skin FOR A SEASON THAT FITS THEM! But they can create thousands of Kiriko and Mercy skins. :( I really like Juno but she's average in a class that's been subject power creep for the past few years, so average and balanced means weak. That does NOT mean she doesn't need buffs or QOL changes because she definitely does but people saying that Juno is weak right now to me is more of the reflection of the state of the support class than Juno.
Only issue I have with the season pass is the sigma and Ashe skins, they just feel really out of place and could’ve done more in theme. Maybe make sigma a crazy conspiracy theorist and Ashe a like government employee or something you know. Could’ve been sweet
My question is why does sigma keep getting sea based skins? The new one plus two pirate ones and the diver one, man doesn't even swim he probably just floats over the water.
Ah yes the "uwu girl" robbed of a personality gets all the love while the "ugly" rock eater gets nothing. It's a shame, cause you'd think with their predatory monetization they'd just give Venture a skin anyways alongside Kiri/Mercy but it'll take them half a year to release anything new & by that time Juno will already have more skins if she's being played as much as she is right now.
Since Blizzard loves recolors so much, they could've at least made the zarya skin a recolor of her lunar new year skin, which has a snake slithering on the gun, since this BP epic skin is based on the Egyptian primordial manifestation of chaos, that is also a snake
tbf having only 4-5 theme skins in battlepass (including mythic) is really bad imo. in Season 7 we had actuall theme and skins with it. We could get Ram skin from his concept art, we could have amaing skins this season since Egypt Mythology is huge. and just to remember, last tank skin was season 8 and it was Orisa Mythic which was not the best one, but at least had some nice audio changes. Hope Ana Mythic weapon is worth the wait, since i will not get Reaper Mythic (but tbf Reaper ult is nice, but sad that enemy can't see or hear it, while Everyone can see Orisa ult)
I just stopped playing since they’re last patch, they have no idea what they’re doing they had a great IP all they needed was to balance the heroes instead they went cash grab and constantly insulted us season after season
The worse part is the devs are taking the brunt force of all these complaints, when this is mostly because of the Merger/firings to make the balance sheets look good

I actually love clash this is just my experience but most if not all of my games are really close and I can’t really get mad because I can’t say that I’ve been stopped by this game mode or gotten stopped by this game mode I don’t know that’s just my experience

Until we understand blizzard’s production cycle I think it’s kinda pointless to critique a character not launching with skins. Especially if the battle pass season themes are thought of way in advance before a character design and moveset is finalized. Even Juno (which you would think would launch with skins) didn’t. Which puts a huge wrench into ppl saying venture didn’t get any skins cause they didn’t think they would sell. Also. A character launching with skins is kinda whatever tbh. If they get skins they get skins. Gameplay doesn’t change. Just a cosmetic
the worst thing and noone mentions this, overwatch battlepass cost 10$ each season and you dont get coins back to buy the next like fortnite and cod but skins are still horrible and lazy and no theme while all the good stuff with the seasons theme gets put in the shop
U get back $6 back in coins. And you get this regardless you buy a Bp or not. Just finish the free pass. Meaning u can get a free Bp every other season.
