- Today I decided to go back to a much loved MotoGP game, MotoGP 20.
I think it's fair to say it's my favourite of the modern games, but is that just nostalgia? Let's find out!

MotoGP 20 is so good, I still play it a lot.

My favourite gp game has been 2019 and then last years. 19 just had such a nice feel to it and was such an improvement from 18. but i do like 20 as it was the only game i was top 10 in the world on xbox at a couple tracks so i hav a soft spot for it
I never gelled with 19, I could always tell it was better than 18 but I couldn't get on with the physics.
Which tracks were you in the top 10 on 20??
@@BIKERGaming I think I was like 12th at Silverstone, top 10 at Misano. Those were my top tracks
19 is broken. I played it last night to see if they fixed it. They didn’t. If you ride with your custom rider wheelie control does not even work or kick in. You have to play an official racer for it to work, which means career mode is broken. So then you have to change the gear ratios to maximize acceleration without too much lift. Ally of people manually have to manual shift early. AI still runs straight into you as well. They can also carry more corner speed at turn entrances. At this point to keep up on hard I have to brake front and feather rear to back it in plus manually downshift because the auto-shift is terrible.
The game is completely unbalanced and the physics are broken. It’s honestly a headache to play.

When I tried it for the first time, I really appreciate it, but playing it again, like 2 months ago, I understood how great were milestone’s work on physics. In the 20 one, the rear jumped too much, but generally the bike made too many unrealistic movements that we don’t see in real life.
Yeah, I must say I agree. I had overlooked many of the improvements they've made in the newer games before coming back to this, the main issue in the newer games is that the bike is unbalanced, if they fix that then they've got a winner

I think we are hating too much on MotoGP 21 and 22 😅 I played MotoGP 17 couple days ago and it made me appreciate 21 and 22 so much more.
In some aspects they're certainly better, but they are definitely lacking in some others

This game was the last non grindy game for me, 21-23 were the general bottom. Still play 20 more
I still play this game because I got the free version of it, this the best game which you can play on keyboard also and please make different kind of videos also like you made earlier with more than 100 riders in a race etc
Didn't think many people played on a keyboard tbh, how do you find it?
I may return to those videos in the future but they make my game very unstable, plus they aren't as good with the ai being able to retire from the crashes
@@BIKERGaming I downloaded this game from a site on my laptop although not able to play online but the rest of the game is brilliant , I am able to do last to first challenges in 3 laps with 120% AI on keyboard

This might be too new for this video, but how would you compare MotoGP™20 to MotoGP4? Personally they are similar because we have to buy the historic bikes in 20 but in 4 we have to buy all the bikes, and the currency system makes the games similar. Then there is the physics where the bike steps out suddenly in MotoGP4 (simulation enabled) and sometimes the bike stoppies, but unlike 20 it doesn't crash. The respawn is also similar because we spawn where the bike lands in both games. Both games looked colourful as well. How do you think both games compare to each other?
MotoGP4 is definitely one of the best GP games, I really like the shop element and being able to buy the current riders and the historic tracks.
Obviously MotoGP4 is almost 20 years old and it’s dated physics and graphics wise so GP20 wins in that aspect but I still enjoy playing it from time to time

I still play MotoGP 20 to this day. MotoGP 21 and 22 I have not played, just due to the fact that there is no creativity whatsoever there. They are literally copy paste, and the AIs, from what I've seen in Robo46's videos, are extremely cheap and unfair. Also they don't do long lap penalty or the bike retrieval, so I'm sticking with 20 and GPBikes until the next great MotoGP game comes out!
Pretty much, they’ve just released the same game with minimal changes. Main thing they’ve done is make the physics and ai worse honestly.
Can’t go wrong with GP BIKES, it’s the best bike game I’ve ever played, so realistic and enjoyable 👌
@@BIKERGaming I’m a huge fan of the historic MotoGP bikes. I would like to see more of that in GP Bikes, like some more 990s, some 800s, just started playing this regularly alongside MotoGP 20.
There is a decent historic 990cc MotoGP pack, I’ve played it a few times. Don’t think there’s any 800’s weirdly, not that I’ve seen anyway
