Good afternoon. What are the products especially leave in conditioner.

    • @gargeoushair
      @gargeoushair  14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Hey, you can use the gel from any of these: Aloe vera, flaxseed, okra
Or combine all 3, it really depends on what works best for your hair.
You could also try hibiscus as well, or if you're not a fan of the plant based products, you could try a store bought product that has glycerin for example in it.
The important thing is that this leave in conditioner works specifically for your hair

Your hair is beautiful my hair since 2019 i have been growing it but it has not been growing its been falling and i normally don't plait my hair i style using a comb and it falls out a lot and now in the back its very short and in the middle its long and sides short i don't know if i should either shave all of it and start over or some remedies how to grow my hair after this massive breakage?

      Hey, thank you 🤗
Do you usually moisturise your hair before combing it? You could cut it if you want to even out everything. I had a similar issue with the middle of my hair, it was damaged by a texturiser when I was younger and it was bald for a while ..then the hair started to grow but the area was still tender. Protective styles helped, I was apparently low on iron and other vitamins and minerals, so I had to try to fix my diet but because I had bad haircare practices, it didn't regrow fully until after my big chop, when I started to moisturise and detangle my hair gently. I also used onion juice religiously everrryyyy wash day and it made a world of a difference.
So if you want to, you could:
      1. Shave it (if you want to) and start over..
      Or
      2. Trim it to even it out with the shorter section.
Regardless of the option you choose.. you'll have to modify your routine a bit.. use a wide tooth comb but in doing this, try your best to sleep, exercise a bit, drink lots of water, have a balanced diet, get some supplements if you can, moisturise and try the onion juice in your hair, detangle gently (try finger detangling, and moisturise before detangling), use a wide tooth comb, use more herbal teas in your hair, add essential oils to the oils you use on your scalp, make changes to your wash day, do more Protective styles, protect your hair ends and give them more tlc

In terms of remedies... they won't work as they should if your diet isn't right.. and if you're stressed out (not saying that you are but stress affects our hair growth cycle), that could contribute significantly to hair loss.
Onion, garlic with other herbs work beautifully for your hair, it's perfect if you want to stimulate your hair follicles, thicken your hair, reduce hair fall and loss
Fenugreek, neem, amla, hibiscus, Cloves are some other good ones as well. There are a lot
However, you won't see visible changes immediately, it will take some months to really see it and you have to be consistent. So using the onion juice once won't fix the issue. I will post a recipe very soon, one that I use for my hair. The plan is to use it for the entire year, take pics and show you guys the difference it makes when used consistently for a long period of time.

@gargeoushair Thank you so much this was helpful I have decided that I will shave the hair and start over with a good routine because it's already damaged in the back it's very small and in middle very long to start over and do your remedies.

@VuntshwaMabunda I'm glad it was helpful😊. Also, you can do protein treatments, you have a protein treatment that the TH-camr GreenBeauty sells, there's also the two step protein treatment from Aphogee...and the 2 minute keratin reconstructor from aphogee as well. If your ends somehow get damaged when your hair grows back...you can go to a professional hair stylist who knows how to take care of natural hair and get it trimmed orrr you can blow dry your hair and do it yourself
Have fun along the journey, take pics, be patient...listen to your hair and if you're a believer in God, pray over it...try to eat well and ik you'll see great results

You shouldn’t count split ends as length.
You see how when you separate your hair, the hair snaps.
    Those are split ends.
You should lightly have your hair blow dried and then trim your ends.
Then you’ll better have your true length.

      @TheAymoneShow hey thanks for commenting.
The hair strands that I removed are actually the ones that I shed and yes, sometimes I'll lightly blow dry my hair before trimming..sometimes I'll detangle it with a comb and trim.
In one of my previous videos, due to the damage I got from braids, the hair would have been trimmed unevenly. Having perfectly even hair doesn't matter to me, so it may look like split ends, but they're not split.

      @ hey babe.
I did not speak of having even hair.
I specifically spoke on split ends.
Having even hair and cutting split ends are not two sides of the same coins.
You have a lot of split ends.
Accept it or don’t. One day, you’ll remember this comment.
Natural hair in its natural state hides a lot of damage. Your cuticles are damaged moreso at the tip of your hair hence why your hair is snapping! Your splits are traveling up your hair shaft.
If you’re going to create content about natural, you must create content that instills in women healthy hair practices not just length retention.
There’s more to our hair than accumulating inches.
Find an educated hair professional in your city and let her look at your hair and she will repeat everything aforementioned.
      Wishing you the best.

@@gargeoushairdon't let people *educate* you into cutting your hard earned inches off... Congratulations on the length retention/accumulation. (That's the focus 🥳❤️🎊💐🌺🥰💥💃🎉🎉).

@simplyandoime7344 thank you🤗🤗.. I've never actually been to a natural hair salon in Jamaica, had 2 awful experiences but I came across one last week so after the challenge or maybe during, I'll try my luck and visit one to have them wash, blow dry and trim my hair if that's necessary ..cause I'm not always in the mood to handle my hair
But youtube is a funny place, I definitely don't know everything so I don't mind being educated or so ..but sometimes it's just best to either ignore or take whatever is said with a grain of salt if it goes against what you know... lol.
