Josh's playing has been a huge inspiration for me. Ever since Conclusion of an Age I've set that as my standard of tight playing to aim for.

@@lolzlarkin3059 well, the idea of those videos is to do it with a semi small budget, the guitar alone is over a 100 us, and so is the kemper, so It’d be cool to see it being done within a budget.
Sylosis is clearly one of the best bands iv ever heard, good luck josh and team

Never understood why there are people that ever thought E standard couldn’t be heavy. Like how is thrash metal not heavy? Most thrash is written in E or D standard tuning.

But for some off reason, I thought he played baritone scale ESP's?
I always practice while watching something, Helps the boring stuff be less boring like Josh said. I do turn it off at times now when I am doing things like practicing ear training which normally involves picking a song to figure out by ear so I cant have other audio during that but otherwise Im normally watching youtube or a stream or whatever while im practicing.
Everyone bragging about the next Hetfield...Josh has the talent and the mind of the frontman that will lead the next generation of The Big 4.

Well to be fair, their older material is much more technical than this. Also, this new album was clearly written to be played live and it shows. I love all the music and I also love that it's not incredibly technical.
