- In this timelapse we are running the mod, The Fourth Age Reforged
This Lord of the Rings mod is set during the Fourth Age of Tolkien’s Middle-earth. It is based solidly upon the lore of The Lord of the Rings books and associated official works, but is set three-and-a-half centuries after the end of the War of the Ring. Themed around a little-known (and unfinished) story by J.R.R. Tolkien entitled The New Shadow, the modification focuses upon the rise of a dark cult among the Mannish peoples during the Fourth Age of Middle-earth.

Nice, some nations i've never heard of before
This is loosely based on the Fourth Age: Total War mod, that did not extend beyond the maps of the Lord of the Rings books. This map is using the MERP (role playing game) map, so it's...yeah...not even remotely based on the actual lore. The original Rome: Total War mod is still available on moddb and is still considered one of the finest mods that was made for that game.
