    I am Buddhist from western Himalayas India and seeing the Documentary so much moved that rolling tears didn't stop for quite sometime. As child I heard stories of kingdom of Guge. I could see now but in such ruined condition ---- in its pristine glory this kingdom must have been so glorious --- as described by the woman that the kingdom was surrounded by 108 Monasteries, and similar number of Chortens ----- lost a great heritage ----- Thank you so much ---- hope one day Great Milarepa's spirit will call me to pay my homage to mount kailash ( Gang Rinpoche) and kingdom of guge . Thank you so much.

      If you are truly Tibetan then you should return to Tibet and help them with whatever resources you possess and rebuilt those historic buildings and artifacts to it's past glory. No point in hiding behind a keyboard and taking pip shots at China.

      After watching the video, it seems that the depiction of the Dalai Lama hanging on the neck of the Tibetan person was meant to be kept confidential. However, the appearance of that Tibetan person has been made public. If he were to face any trouble, would someone be held responsible?

    • @lainfonet
      @lainfonet ปีที่แล้ว +2

      However, in Tibet, I have personally seen Tibetan people who follow the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism being able to hang portraits of the Dalai Lama in their homes. Therefore, there is nothing strange about the Tibetan person wearing the Dalai Lama's portrait around his neck. Even though the appearance of that Tibetan person has been revealed, he will not encounter any trouble.

    Great documentary, thank you for making and sharing ti with us. I have been to Mongolia, but never to Tibet or Napal. I do know that there are more Chinese people in Tibet then Tibetans in Tibet. Since China's invasion in 1950, that entire area has become grossly depended economically on the Chinese influence and it is a damn shame the west lets that happen. Oh wait, the 'west' is busy invading their own countries, taking over their natural resources and then ripping the people off by charging them five times the amount for something that used to be theirs in the beginning, can you say extortion? The Chinese are no worse than Americans, Great Britian or any other political system creating pissing contests in sand boxes for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

    Восхищают тибетцы, непальцы, шерпы итд, у которых тяжелые условия жизни, несмотря на все невзгоды они достойно несут себя.

    Beautifully captured, but who ever the editor is, you have to blur the face of these nomads. You don't have right to expose these, rather should have moral responsibility protect their identity. Please do it

    You could have blurred out the man that had a picture of the religious figure, he will be sent to prison and tortured.

    Interesting how it is assumed that the audience both knows Tibetn, hindi, and French even with an English narrator who randomly pops in with English.
    The documentary makers also put a Tibetan family in extreme danger after just telling the audience that they need to be careful to protect the identities of Tibetans.
    I am also glad that they respect Tibetan culture and beliefs by filming the inside of temples.
