I’m Bhutanese & my ancestral lineage can trace back to ancient Tibetan clan from kham, my family have a natural affection & love for Tibetan culture & one of my great great grandfather fled Bhutan for Tibet during late 1890s and lived there more than 70 years & Fought for Tibet against CCP, I always feel More closer to Tibetans & felt Tibetans homely, I believe this is due to a long & strong connection my forefathers had with Tibet, i always believe his holiness is not just human but a sublime being (chenrezig), I will always pray for his holiness long life 🙏 🙏🙏. Thank you for this documentary truly manifesting unparalleled strength of Tibetans!!

The CCP does have some evil parts, but it eliminated the serfdom that existed in Tibet for thousands of years. The Dalai Lama was the largest serf owner. They will not talk about the fact that 95% of the people in old Tibet were serfs, nor will they talk about the oppression of serfs by serf owners. Tibet will always be a part of China.

India itself was a "country" temporarily pieced together by British colonial rule, and did not undergo any fundamental political changes during the process of "independence". It was only the weak British colonial rule that allowed the pro British high caste, aristocracy, and bourgeoisie, who had been exploiting the Indian people, to continue to control India. The people of the South Asian subcontinent should decide their own future!

As someone born and brought up in Dharamsala, it’s impossible for us to see our area without Tibetans. They bring an enigma of fresh area and add a special charm to our land. We’ve always believed they are integral part of our society. We see them as locals and our own. For us someone from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi or any other part of India is an outsider but majority of people in Himachal would call Tibetans as their own people. We have deep rooted love and respect for Tibetan culture and people. HHDL is not only the spiritual and temporal leader of Tibet but he is also our Guru, our guiding light and our God. We wish Govt. of India starts giving Tibetans their due and equal representation now. We also want a free Tibet and see it as our own cause but, we wish that Tibetans should stay in India and have equal rights as long as Tibet doesn’t get freedom. Praying for the well being of our Tibetan friends, brothers and sisters. Long live the Indo Tibetan friendship.

Watching this documentary was a deeply moving experience for me, as I felt a strong connection to the struggles of Tibetan parents depicted in the film. I am sincerely thankful to the older generation for their sacrifices and determination, which have helped to create a better life for all of us. The documentary effectively showed the difficulties that exiled Tibetan parents face, highlighting their unwavering commitment to securing a brighter future for their children and their community. Our elders, with their resilience, continue to inspire us, even during the toughest times.
As a teacher in the monasteries, I am committed to imparting knowledge to young monks with great dedication. This documentary, along with the wisdom of our elders, has reinforced my determination to work diligently in my role. It serves as a reminder of the importance of dedicating myself fully to my work, just like our elders have done. I am deeply grateful to the team behind this documentary for capturing these powerful stories and shining a light on the enduring spirit of the Tibetan people.

I have watched the horrible conditions the Tibetan has had to endure since the 50s , from the chinese takeover, and have been an advocate since then. The wonderful monks made to work chain gangs, road workers etc. The great monasteries destroyed , but the main thing is the LOSS OF DAILY PRAYERS THAT HUMANITY HAS , NO MORE! I saw the Newsweek magazine with the monk that set himself on fire, on the cover. Still, no country did a thing, including USA. What we as humans lost is immeasurable. 😢😢😢😢😢😢

People like you who tell lies will not receive God’s grace and will not be reincarnated! Tibet now is a land of true democracy and freedom of religious belief! The old Tibetan ruling class who fled to India brutally exploited millions of Tibetan serfs. It was not China that liberated Tibet, but the Tibetan people chose China! This is the reason why the old Tibetan ruling class was driven out of China by the people!

Thank you all for your support! I highly appreciate we are one even though the people who show off power outnumber us. I still believe firmly that although they can rule and take away all our possession that is physical but they will never be satisfied because they can never have our hearts/minds. Mean people esp., Chinese are never satisfied of anything. Wherever we go they follow us. We have nothing, we are still happy, because we accept destiny and satisfied with little. And don't want what is not ours. And they are not ashamed. It is humurously annoying and surprising that those who don't have much to hide are always shy and those who do all the bad things are never shy of nothing and stand in front of you like they own everything! Just want to go and live in the place where we belong. Tibet is for tibetans!

The Tibetan language is struggling. Not only in Tibet, which is now under Chinese occupation, but also among those of us who have taken refuge to preserve our language and culture. In this film, there are only two short sentences(tittle and subtittle) in Tibetan, but they are scattered and broken. It feels like a sad prophecy for the future of our language. This is truly disappointing and heartbreaking for us

In fact, whether the people especially western media believe or not, if you visit Lhasa or any big city in Tibet today, the modernization and people' life are astonished and the living standard is much better than what Dharamshala has, where is a miserable place.

Study your history! Tibet only existed for two hundreds year (633-842), after that it has been called XiZang! Before the Tibet, this area had many tribes, not every tribe was Tibetan, there have been many ethnic groups living in this region.
By the way, the Indian government never gave any land to "Tibetan refugees", they only leased the land for a certain period, and giving them no status in this leased land. Those refugees cannot find job, go to school, get medicare. They have been living on refugee camps with no hope for the future, that explains the rapid decreasen of the refugee population. The only way out is going back to China, or going to another country!

@JJ-uo9tj I have studied my Tibetan history and yours isn't entirely accurate. XiZang is the present-day Chinese name for Tibet and that started in 2023 as yet another political move against Tibet and HH the Dalai Lama.
