I just received a fine for stopping when following Google maps to one of the airport viewing points. The road came to a dead end with a sign saying No Entry - Authorised Access Only. Whilst turning round in the entrance to a hotel on the site, I saw the parking enforcement car approaching. Foolishly, I thought I would stop him and ask him for proper directions. Instead he drove straight past me and two weeks later I received a parking fine for £100.
Nice clear dashcam footage, along with your narrative, and less traffic on the roads, this was a pleasant relaxing drive. Well done, enjoyed this one.👍🏻
What I do is stop, lift the bonnet (hood), check the oil, and make a big display of doing so for the cameras. Is it MY fault the passengers all got out????
@@MrAndrewFarrow If you stop at a crossing for pedestrians and the passengers get out you should win an appeal for any fine. You cannot stop them from getting out as to do so would be kidnapping when you move off. As long as you don't get out or open the boot for luggage it is not the driver's fault.
Ron Seymour I agree. The notion that they can impose a penalty for stopping is bizarre. Is it MY fault they all got out??? (Although helping them with their suitcase wouldn’t help!) (And kissing the wife and kids goodbye!)

Good thing not many cars and no pedestrians about so you don't need to stop at roundabouts and junctions and zebra crossings.
