- Enjoy this tour and review of our stay at Hakuba Canadian Lodge during beautiful Japan winter! Hakuba Canadian Lodge is set in Hakuba in the Nagano Region, and features beautiful rustic wooden cottages, log houses and apartments all year round.
We chose this location for our winter vacation as it was a good balance of facilities, location and cost. Some hotels can go superrrr expensive during winter season! But this was a good family size apartment and not too costly with everything we need :)
While I definitely recommend renting a car (and we happily did so), Happo-One Ski Resort is a 6-minute walk from the property. Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal is 1 km away from Hakuba Canadian Lodge.
The accommodation features a Smart TV, a dining area and a kitchen equipped with a microwave and fridge. Each unit comes with a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Washing machine and towels are available. Ski storage is available in winter, while barbecue facilities are available from May to November.
