Yeah won't be taking that advise now. I'll be changing it up. Fake jars and cans have been around forever. Thieves usually go thru foods. Leaving big mess. Toilets too. I'm not a thief but I knew about these many years ago. Thieves are onto it.
People should stop sharing ways to hide stuff and just share it personally. You’re basically educating thrives on all possible areas now that have never been thought before
If I were a thief, I would be thanking you very much for making my "job" much easier. However, I am not so thanks a lot for making a thief's job much easier. 😮
Given all the places she was looking to hide money at home, I don’t think she feels that’s a safe place either. I’m gonna keep putting mine in the credit union. 😊
Sadly the mirror hack isn’t true. What they are describing is a way to tell a traditional rear surface mirror from a front surface mirror. Either can be a “two way mirror”. It has nothing to do with which side the mirror finish is on.
Guys wrap your suitcase in plastic film and second layer a tape. Plastic film is very easily torn. It doesn't actually do anything. Tape can only be cut with a knife.
Let me tell everyone here, about hiding valuables in a jar of rice. I hope everyone sees this, as I’d like to keep all of you from making this big mistake. My mom hid all her diamond and emerald rigs in a jar of rice that was in her large kitchen pantry. It was approaching the time of year that we celebrate Passover and in getting ready, my mom threw out the jar of rice. Only a few days later did she realize what she had done. Byebye to everything that would have been mine one day.
I think she got a masterclass from the thefts , actually you're educating common people but on the other side revealing these tricks for the thefts too, great video for all thefts and hotel staffs , good job😂
The "bedbug" (shown) was actually a stink bug. Quite a bit bigger than bedbugs, and not as problematic, nor even commonly found in beds. But be warned about smashing them. Their namesake reveals why.
Many comments are about the fact that the video is teaching thieves how to do nefarious things. No, the video is teaching honest folk; the fact is that thieves ALREADY know these things. Thank you for educating us.
Better way to check 2 ways mirror is to use a light (which is very easily accessible nowadays as every phone has a light source). Use it to shine @ a mirror, if it is a 2 ways mirror it will not reflect the same lvl brightness This method is taught by a professional 😊
🌸 2:33 they showed a program where people at Mexican airport were opening cases with handmade device which reziped after they pried it open, they were also cling filming any that needed it Tip buy case that doesn’t have zips
Yes, I lived there (not anymore) and when my mom came to visit, half of her things and gifts were stolen from the suitcase and it was locked (now we know how). It happend 16 years ago. Since then we secure the suitcase in many different ways😅
That's not a bedbug, it's a stinkbug. You don't have to put suitcases in the bathtub, you can just put them anywhere in the bathroom where there is no carpet. That's not foil, it's plastic wrap.
My parents used to duct tape (or brown masking tape) our luggages whenever we had to fly on airplanes and use the airports. You can even take it up a notch and label or draw on the duct tape so that if the original duct tape does get cut then rewrapped, the original drawing/labelling will also be broken as proof.
There are many problems or alternatives to your suggestions. If you fly and your suitcase looks this it's a pretty sure thing that your bag will be checked. Also forget about the "bags in the tub" thing. Get a baggage rack. There's usually one in every hotel room closet and you can ask for more.
Sushmita: the hack which appeals to me the most is wrapping yr luggage with 'cling-wrap' @ home. As for the rest, its doable BUT as many comments fm viewers are concerned about 'how many thieves are warching this' ??? 😅
Nothing. The point is that the thieve won' t choose a wrapped suitcase wich takes way more time to be opened than an unwrapped one. It' s the jungle logic: don' t be the lame zebra crossing the river.
I couldn't do that cause the number one room is not to touch your face when you touch other things and that would be like luggage from anywhere touching the openings of your body in the tub. Just think of the billions of people who evolve around these things spontaneously and they would most likely find out that their body thought there was something wrong with using those tubs.
Don't put valuables in the baggage you check in. Keep valuables in your carry-on bag or purse. Spray non-toxic non-aerosol bed bug killer on the beds, furniture, and carpet then leave the hotel room for a couple of hours until it's safe (dried). Worried about cameras? Because they are in hotel rooms. Bring a bathing suit and shower with it on then use a wash cloth under a large t-shirt you bring to clean whatever was missed. (This is better than your unclothed body being recorded and shown all over the internet😃).
There are a lot of these videos on TH-cam for the overly paranoid. Can you imagine doing all this shit every time you go to a hotel room? Also, imagine unwrapping all that "foil" to get to your clothes and orher things in your suitcase a thief probably won't steal? And you have to remember all the ridiculous places you hid your cash!
I don't recommend the pad one. It's not sanitary. Money is not sanitary. The pad touches your private area and putting money of all things in a pad just to hide it is dumb. I will never compromise my health to hide a subpar amount of money in my damn pad. Wtf is that advice? Tbh, only the mirror advice was good. The rest was just either weird or common sense. I get people wanting to make TH-cam videos to possibly get fame and whatever but please put some quality in your videos. Don't just upload for the sake of it. Thanks.
Just to add a note: Don't forget that you have money, a paper bill in this case-in the 🖍 crayon before giving to a kid (you might not get the crayon back. Being it only a crayon 😉 🤔 💭 Just something to think about
The luggage has just rolled through a public airport and a plane twice. If you don't have bleach on hand don't dare get in that bathtub after this. Seriously, the bathroom floor is quite good enough. I do not take my things out of the suitcase unless I'm wearing them. That's just how I do things. I've got more important things to do nice video but I gotta go
Talks about bed bugs…shows stink bug instead. Keeps referring to plastic wrap as foil. Best way to keep your money safe…use travellers checks or credit/bank cards and only cash what you need at a bank and put the cash in a “money belt/pouch” worn inside clothing rather than leaving it in hotel room. Rolling money in toilet paper roll is a very bad idea…when toilet paper on the dispenser gets to a certain size room service will change it to a whole roll and discover your money…for partial rolls, they will clear them out along with your money. Also…most hotel rooms that I have been in, do not come with washing machines in them… Also, learn the special hand signal for “help”…you won’t need a crayon. Don’t give a child a crayon unless you are willing to a. Clean the interior of the rental car or the walls of the hotel room, or b. Pay extra for someone else to clean off the crayon when you return the car or check out. There is sooo much wrong with this video…!!!!
Bed bugs look more like whole flax seeds in appearance…not “shield” shaped like a stink bug. Also, if you do have the misfortune to pick up bed bugs in your luggage, or are uncertain…double wrap luggage in two sturdy garbage bags, tied, individually, at the tops (wrap string tightly and knot) so nothing can get in or out. Putting silica gel dust inside the internal bag will also be a good move. You can leave the bags in a locked external storage area until you are ready to deal with the suitcase. Outside, on your deck, remove the clothes and use a garbage bag to transfer clothing directly into the washing machine and wash on hot. Most of your insect issues will be washed down the drain. If you want to be doubly sure…pile a few clothes at a time on a newsprint lined baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes to an hour at 170’F in a DIGITAL oven (Make sure fabric is not touching elements or sides of oven and leave the clothes in there until the internal temperature of the pile of clothes reaches 170’F.). 170’F is the lowest you can set a DIGITAL oven (Don’t do this in an Analog/Dial oven…the temperature is variable.). All bugs, insects and arachnids, and their eggs die at 140’F. If the suitcase will fit comfortably in the oven, give it the same treatment. (All fibres, textiles and plastics will NOT begin melting until over 200’F at least. Man-made fibres/plastics will melt at different temperatures beyond 200’F. Natural fibres will combust at much much higher temperatures.) Steam cleaning your suitcase will also cure it of creatures. There are devices, that use fans to heat the contents and you can set the timer and check internal temperature using an internal thermometer that connects to the external control that comes with the zippered bug proof case and fan/heater. Incidentally, in Canada, the most effective pesticides for bedbugs are illegal to use because they affect human nervous systems (same as the insects) and so the only effective way to control bed is via heat. If you are living in a multi-unit building, be very cautious after a vacation. Someone in our complex, in another building, had to pay for their entire building to be heat treated. How does one stick a building in an oven? You don’t. The company comes in with special suits to keep bugs out and protect from heat and brings in heaters to raise the internal temperature of the unit(s) to 140’. They will also move items and furniture about to make sure that all items have had a uniform dose of heat for the right amount of time. You of course are not there while all this is going on.
Spying mirrors, hotel bedbugs, suitcase theives....
I'll just stay home...
😂
I wonder how many thieves are watching this 😮
Same thought😂
After watching this video thieves will start looking at this places 😅

I would forget I hid money in these places and would accidently throw it out in the trash.

That’s not “foil” being wrapped around that suit case. Foil is metal & would set off metal detectors. It’s actually plastic wrap. 😊
Please Note; I liked the tip about the mirror

Yeah, some creators are so eager to get the views, they actually help the criminals. There are things one NEVER shares on social media.

Why? Because you are already watching it. Now it is too late to ask why you are watching it. It’s already been watched, by YOU.
