Easy Cinnamon Roll dough Hack. So Moist! So Good!

Fill your "Cinnamon Roll Grands" bake your own sticky cinnamon rolls with fresh fruit, sprinkle with mini chocolate chips and cook them like muffins and enjoy a moist and yummy cinnamon bun hack that our 5-star Airbnb guests love! I show you how I prepare this treat for our breakfast guests. It is so easy and so good!
Note - I use the Extra Large Parchment paper muffin liners in the video to make removing the muffins easy and keep the melted goodness of the chocolate chips contained. This also lets me clean the ramekins after baking and put the muffins back in for a lovely presentation on the breakfast table and gives the muffin rolls a real homemade, made from scratch, feel! Ramekins help to bake the dough and keep the finished product moist which I find a challenge when just making the roll straight from the container on a baking sheet. If you don't have ramekins, use a muffin baking pan. My ramekins are the 4 ounce size.
Pillsbury Grands! (owned by General Mills Corporation) Cinnamon Rolls are readily available in many stores including major super markets, independent supermarkets and many convenient stores. Note you can make your own cinnamon roll dough and use our filling suggestions to make this as well. You might want to double the brown sugar/cinnamon that I add to my fruit.
Ingredients - I tin of Pillsbury brand Grands! (which is unbaked prepared dough pre-cut for 5 rolls and includes ready to use icing mix)
1/4 cup of brown sugar mixed with 1 tbsp of ground cinnamon
Fruit filling suggestions
1/2 of an apple peeled and cut into small chunks
or
10 - 12 blueberries per muffin
or
use fruit of your choice like strawberries, cut into small chunks
raisins or dried cranberries
Paper muffin cup liners in extra large size but regular size will work too ... you just might need to run a sharp knife around the top sides of the ramekin to remove muffin prior to serving.
sprinkle with mini chocolate or butterscotch or white chocolate chips or even multi color sprinkles!
