Buried Sun Disc is actually programmed specifically to never be drawn at game start, so you can mulligan all you like

24:31 gonna chime in here and mention that your kinda wrong about the mist's call here. Level 3 Xerath turns deaths into obliterations. So there's no way to get veigar back other than to resummon him of minimorph Xerath which leaves lethal by renekton.
Ascended is a fun deck, bit weak againts agros, so, ascended would never die.Also, if they manage to restore the sun disk, its like autolose, unless there is a direct nexus damage and the nexus was low
yea i agree, but the thing is you can still win by attacking as long there are no renekton or nasus on the board, their skill/effect really a total board domination

Hey Miguel, I have a long story here so I hope you can find the time to read it.
I used to watch your pokemon videos back in the say, with the UCL videos vs Pokeaim and all those epic matches.
When you moved away from pokemon, I stopped watching as I had no interest in card games.
Fast forward to last week, and I thought 'I hope Mogwai is doing well' so I looked you up to see how you were doing and saw you had 258k subs!
So I watched a video for old times sake and loved the same energy and personality that you had back in the day.
The problem was I had no freaking idea what was going on with this Legends of Runeterra game. It looked cool though, and I've been devouring your videos for like a week and have learnt the game and really love your decks and creativity, and might get round to downloading the game itself to try it.
I'm absolutely loving the videos and content, and you're awesome at this game just like you were great at Pokemon!
Glad you're back, and I'm looking forward to the new videos.
What do you think of the recent updates, particularly the Iceborn Legacy buff? Poros and spiders both seem pretty strong with it.
Also, things just my opinion but most of the decks are fantastic and the 3 or 4 games with each deck feel like I want to see a few more games with each one. You could consider using each deck two days in a row, to show some more matchups and different scenarios etc. It would mean there is less pressure on you to make a brand new deck EVERY day.
PS. Your English is unbelievably good for a second language, and you never have to worry about that. Thanks so much for the content!
PPS. Will you please try and make a Zed deck? And also an Anivia/Karma deck, if that's possible.

I made a mono shurima deck with Xerath and Nasus and magus to give levels up nasus overwhelm. I think it is a cool idea but I'm bad at deck building
It makes sense in theory. Besides the overwhelm key is quite useful against rep decks for example
Xerath and nasus don't work well together. If you get them both to level 3 (or just xerath) then nasus does not grow since xerath obliterates and not slays.
@@mewclelegend9945 yes but xerath works with magus and magus works with Nasus. Plus I get some slays in the early game. he is at least going to be a 12|12 overwhelm and brings everyone's attack down. But please come with suggestions for improvement. I want to make it work better

Maybe they'll buff him and just leave Irelia as she is? Fingers crossed.

Sunny actually made a fake mono shurima aggro deck. It was a bit less effective as an aggro than intended, but still a fun concept

After the buffs I tried at lot of Sun Disc variations and in my opinion the best way to play is x3 Azir, x3 Xerath, x3 Ascended's Rise and lots of Predict cards.
Basically you want to mulligan really hard for T3 Azir, T4 Xerath and T5 Ascended's Rise (with 1 banked spell mana) and use predict to find the missing pieces.
The reason I play Xerath and not Renekton is the fact that Xerath activates his effect once the Sun Disc expires, effectively removing a unit from the opponent's board and counteracting a bit of the tempo loss from Ascended's Rise.
Note that if you don't play any countdown acceleration the Sun Disc levels up on T6 with this curve, so you have to survive T5 basically doing nothing.
Overall the deck is still weak but I found this was the only way I was able to get the Sun Disc to level up somewhat reliably.
The 1st game was hillarious hahahahahaha. I laugh so hard. 😂😂 and the banana hahaha lol
About the blitz thing. I think it's bugged. I use it for lol and even though I turned it off for LoR it always shows. My suggestion: turn off the autostart in the program and the takmanger.

For blitz you can use your task manager to make it so it doesn't start at launch so you can only open it when playing tft, otherwise blitz should have the option to drop the overlay in the settings but you have to turn it back on for tft.

I've been playing a very unique (re: bad) mono Azir control deck, using the Shurima advance units with some basic sand soldier junk to stall out a game until you get the emporer's deck. It's actually disgustingly consistent. Not strong, just consistent at getting a lvl 3 azir by about turn 8.
Can you share the deck?

The opponent ordered them wrong.
If they had put Rek'sai first her effect would have triggered first giving Xerxareth 8 attack, then his effect would trigger and the game would verify that he has 8 attack and grant him overwhelm and spellshield.
But because Xerxareth was first his effect triggered first, the game checked his attack and saw that he has 7 and granted him nothing, then Rek'sai's effect triggered and gave him 8 attack but the game wouldn't check his attack again at that point because there's nothing to trigger a check.

Hi Mogwai! I was wondering if you had any way that you would design a Leona, Diana deck with a legitimate win condition. Just a request for a potential video, because I'm not good at crafting decks for myself. lmao
I climbed to diamond with this deck, but slightly different - my idea was to go all in with predicts and to only have 1 goal - to play Ascended rise with renekton and xerath on board. The only thing I struggled against is PnZ decks with a lot of removal. I even beat aggro a lot of the time by completely ignoring their plays, getting lvl 3 renekton at turn 6 and suddenly they can't attack again because of the block effect. Also most of my matchups were elusives, which are hard-countered by quicksand. I also outpaced thralls since they don't have clean removal. I don't think it's a bad deck to climb at all, maybe we even see it in tournaments to counter specific matchups.
