19:20: All Mercedes V8 engines have a cross plane crankshaft. Ferrari V8's and Lotus V8's use flat plane and that's why they scream the way they do. The 2014-2023 Ford Mustang GT350 also utilises a flat plane crank which is unusual in the US.
The point where I had to squeeze past the bus.. it did come to mind! 😂 They’re totally different experiences, there are scenarios where you want a big comfy GT car and others where you want a nimble sports car.. They just need to invent a transforming car now that when you hit a button it changes into the other 👍
Don’t believe so, all looks very stock to me underneath. It’s pretty quiet at idle and cruising.. but it is a 6.2 litre V8, so it’s not going to be silent 😂
No problem, the PAS reservoir was low when I purchased the car and the pump is slightly louder than I would like (probably because someone prior to my ownership didn't top it up!). As the system is a closed loop its unusual for any fluid to leak (although not entirely uncommon on w204 c63's). This being a 'new to me' car, the worst case scenario would be for me to discover a leak whilst on the roadtrip and not have any fluid to top it up with.. hence the inclusion of fluid :)
I love those sounds. And looks like a a good trip! Great video too, super job, you deserve a cigar 👍🥃
Thanks very much 👌
Great fun! It looks like you all had a great time. Excellent video and best wishes to Dave.

Great video👌🏻
What a great car, lovely V8 sound. It’s bizar how the AMG engineers managed to get such perfect tone out of that big block.
And how they managed to get it to rev so high! The last 1000 rpm.. it’s like a slingshot.
Please make more C63 content!
Haha i intend to! Please subscribe to see it 🤘
Nice vid mate and awesome car. Was there a moment you wish you had the mx5 though on some of those roads?

@@CarThought yeah it may be I haven't heard mine from outside the car yet so maybe mine is louder than I think 😂
@@Sammyturbo1 outside is much louder!
Would there be a better pair of cars to do this trip in?
May I ask why did you bring power steering fluid with you? I understand the engine oil, just not quite sure why the power steering fluid.
