Thanks Rob, Cheers Man
how heavy is the bullet of 338 lapua ? and here I mean the whole bullet, with charge, case, projectile, prime everything, because I can't find anything on the internet about it ,I'm interested in the total weight, especially the one with the 16.2g projectile (250grains)
Always love watching you put lead on steel at these extended ranges! Thanks for sharing your adventures

Thanks Man, Cheers
That is such an impressive rig and I really like that cartridge. I push that 245 10ths slower in my 300 rum with 33” barrel. Took it out to 2450 Really looking for a place to shoot it 2 miles. Thanks for another great video

@@markandsamafterwork I moved up from a 308 Rem military buy back, to a 300 win mag with nf scope and it is definitely a fun gun , I do run a can on it.
I have a older 50ty shorty semi, with nf setup with the digi system, I’m not accurate with it at all. Lol but it’s fun.
I been up in the air on build a cheyTec or 338 you sold me. Lol after watching how smooth it is, I’m not expecting to be as half as good as you are. Lol on my property in the up in Mi. I have about 1800+ meters off my deck to shoot. I can reach out setting up on state land. If you don’t mind, I have about 9k for the gun, 2-3k for scope, and have 3k for suppressor. Any recommendations, People I shoot with think 308 is all you need, they thought the win mag was too much. The 50ty would be more fun if I was a better shot. You guys made my mide up asap. I thought Norma , chey, had. Few but after watching you. 338 lapua os they they way to go. Compared to the barret which when you shoot the ground is disturbed lol unless I run it with a can. But shelf life of a 50ty can I’m not plinking with it lol. Thank you guys. I’m hoping if I could get as half as good you. I would be great. Lol thanks so much
nice video mate!
Cheers Johno
great shooting
Cheers Man

Cheers Adam, thanks man
😂 I never thought about necking down my 338 Lapua to 30 caliber! 🤪 I then went to the 308 Lazzeroni Warbird and then on to my own creation (A 408 Cheytac necked down to 30 caliber) that I call "Thor's Hammer"! 👨⚖ Love Your Videos and Your Toys (Guns)! 😁👍
Lol, Cheers
Great Straya Day activity :)
Yep, Cheers Man

Beautiful shooting. The 245's has some authority even at that extended range. Can't share because of the ban.
Cheers
I had the privilege of firing a few rounds of this cartridge. The nicest people you'll ever meet are at gun ranges.🙂
Cheers Mike
Huge fan. Wondering if you guys will eventually do a video with 33 nosler.
I have the 26 28 and 30 nosler And 33 in the future
Cheers Man, and no plans atm, Cheers

انتم محترفون وماهرون في هذا النوع من الرماية
👍👍😎
Another great video mate. What's one thing you've learned about elr over time since you started?
Thanks Man, lots learned, still lots of learning, all in videos here, lots of info, Cheers
👍 💪
Cheers
awesome, as always ! Have you ever try pcp airgun for long range ?
Thanks and no we dont have those, Cheers
Good shooting! I would have been lucky to have been within 100 yards of the target.
Lol, Cheers Man
Fantastic shooting, and a great job on that build & setup. Would you mind sharing your reamer & die brand? Assuming these are 338LM with a 308 neck bushing?( Redding was supposed to offer the #88108 30-338 dies, but have never been able to find them.
Thanks for making great content!!
LE Wilson sizing die, no idea on the reamer, gunsmith found that, Cheers
UAU !!!
Cheers
Great video what bullets did you use by chance ?
Berger 245grn
awesome shooting ,what time does the sun rise there ,
Sun rise that day, here, it was 5.30am
👍😊🎯
Thanks Chris
Great shooting! Strange, I haven't heard of 245 grain 338 Lapua bullets. I thought 250 grains is standard weight and 300 grains heavier version of it
This cartridge is a 30-338 Lapua. So its shooting 30 cal bullets. I believe 245gr is the heaviest berger makes for the 30.
30-338 is a 30 cal, we have other videos that show
@@markandsamafterwork Aha, now I see, that's different caliber🙂
Wow! Impressive. How much energy did the projectile retain when it hit the plate from when it left the barrel?
Not info I bother with, we are just shooting steel, but all the info is there, Cheers
Y’all done a 6.5prc yet mark? I looked back and didn’t see one…just picked up waypoint carbon and always interested in you guys input…thanks for many yrs guys…matt
6.5 SAUM imp, bit more power than the PRC but very similar, Cheers
coolest wife ever
👍👍
Mark, What is the Cartridge OAL on your particular load. Are they too long for mag length or are they under 3.7"? Thanks
Yes longer than that, but we don't use mag for this stuff, Cheers
What powder did u end up using. I’m shooting mine with the 250 atips and h869 powder at 3070. Want to try h50bmg powder. What were your results with h50bmg powder ?
We found our best results from AR2225, written in video, Cheers
Do you participate in any formal competitions, or is it all about the challenge for you?
No we do not have time or money for comps
Hey I’ve been watching you channel for years and I’m getting into ELR shooting and I’m wonder what is y’all’s gps range finding app you use. if you can can you send me a link so I can download the app so I can measure my shots, thanks!! Good shooting!!
All on the channel, lots of info there but that is all we offer, also shown many times but we use the Measuring Tape iPhone app, Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork thank you for the information
Mark, is this brass available commercially at all... Or is this something you are forming yourself?
Neck down 338 brass Jack
@@markandsamafterwork thank you.
Did the bullet make a hole in the steel plate after traveling 3015 meters?
No
Is this cartridge different than the 300 Lapua Magnum or is it just a naming variation?
The same I think
300-338? Yea Gods!
FPS and bullet?
(Edit, found it, 245gr at 3150)
Cheers Glen
Did you change sholder angle?
No
Is it same caliber as 300 Lapua Magnum?
👍
TH-cam wont acknowledge my like on the video.
We are too scary, lol...thanks Man, Cheers
@MarkandSam AfterWork these woke leftists hate guns so i really shouldn't be surprised. Yall are awesome! Nice channel❤️
