Another awesome review. This machine covers all the bases. Powerful engine for 125cc (13 bhp water cooled) with a 15L fuel tank that is off road capable without rattling plastics. SYM really came out kicking butt with this machine. lol @ whoopty do's🤣and "idiots like me." You have taught me a whole new appreciation for scooters. I am lovin the hell out of my HD300.

It is a bit of a special thing, people will compare it just with regular 125's for city commuting but they are missing the point. This was made for touring.

Poate faci și ceva recomandări de accesorii, gen încălzitoare de mâini, topcase, parbriz mai mare. Felicitări pentru canal!
Momentan nu avem nimic pentru ADX, nu au aparut accesorii dar vor aparea. Ca si topcase daca vrei sa faci ture lungi Givi B45 e evolutia la top case-ul E43 ce il am pe BMW si l-am folosit in tura de anul trecut pana in Georgia pe scuter, dar Givi inca nu a facut suport de top case pt ADX.

But what sets you apart is that you can enjoy a small cc as well as a big bore ride. There can be no doubt you give many people ideas about a 125cc they never entertained before? Bv Alex. Daca aproba legea cu 125, o sa fie hit scuterul asta. La fel si cruisym de 125. 🎉 eu inca ma documentez. Am ajuns la joymax z 300. Poate iesi si cu asta.
Joymax de 300 este 99% identic cu cruisym si am iesit destul cu Cruisym. E bun de drumuri lungi dar Cruisym este un pic mai bun pt drum lung. Vezi pe site ca am comparatie unde explic exact diferentele intre Cruisym si Joymax si fiecare pentru ce e.
Foarte fain canalul Alex, ai un nou abonat. Acum...sunt complet in...ceata!😊. Dupa ce am urmarit tura cu acest scuter, precum si turele su Symphony ST, prin toata lumea, asadar, dupa aceste experiente urmatite pe canal, ma gandesc ca poti face touring si cu un astfel de scuter. Daca am facut 290 km pe bicicleta in 22 ore, ma gandesc ca trecerea la o astfel de jucarie este un pas urias inainte. Am ramas uimit de consum, 2.76 lla suta!! Ma gandeam la achizitia unui M310 sau a unui E350, dar acum sunt pus pe ganduri. ADX-ul e un scuter bun la toate, iar viteza de croaziera de 100 este arhi suficienta!! Daca esti un tip mai...spartan, atunci poti renunta la confortul si viteza oferite de un maxiscuter. Desigur, varianta ADX 300 ar fi varianta ideala...😊! Imi poti spune, te.rog, cand se va vinde in Romania? Multumesc!

Hello Alex - I really appreciate your Videos - many thansk! I am very interested in the ADX but - not as an 125 as an 150. I drove the 125 with my grilfriend - want to use it for commuting to work and for trips. Therefore I thought the 150 with additional 3 PS (so almost 15) will be the better fit. Can you give me a hint if this model will be available somehow for me in Germany? Importing or buying in Europe / outside Germany? Many thanks!
It's curently only available in China, and i have no ideea if it will ever be available in the EU. It's curently not euro 5 complient so can't be sold here.

I don't know, my 2 biggest wishes from Sym now are and ADX250 and a Cruisym400. We will see EICMA 2023 what they bring to the table because I need a new touring machine, the BMW is nice but I'm still not clicking with it for really long trips, it's just to big and too heavy and cumbersome for what I do on trips. And ADX250 would fit the bill beautifully.
not sure if you have noticed, but there is a picture of a camera on the rear plastic fairing just above the number plate. Any ideas why this is there? optional kit?
Alex. First of all, greetings. I got to know you through your Symphony ST videos. I really wanted to buy that scooter at one point, but after seeing the ADX, my mind changed. (I have watched your all of 3 videos about ADX) Despite there being dozens of videos on TH-cam, I haven't seen anyone ride and film as long as you do with the ADX. I have just one question for you. As someone who has traveled tens of thousands of kilometers with the ST, do you find the ADX more comfortable or the ST? (In terms of seat comfort, suspension comfort, overall quality/comfort) Hip and back pain are crucial for me. I'm 180cm tall, so the correct seating position is important for me. Which one can I travel longer distances with? What are your thoughts on this? Thank you so much your answer and videos. Greatings from Netherland
The ADX is much better for long distance travels in every way. Go for it. If the ADX was available when I bought my ST I would have gone for the ADX for sure.
@@RideWithAlex Thank you very much for your answer. 125cc may be underpowered in some places, but now it may be the cheapest method of travel (excluding hitchhiking :)). So, after traveling all over the Netherlands with this scooter, I may consider going to other European countries with a more powerful scooter.
Great explanation of the bike. Now i'm only havo to make a decision between the ADX or the Cruisym Alpha.. I have only one question... Does the Cruisym have the start/stop system to ?
@@RideWithAlex I think about new bike , here in UK prices are exceptional. But I need to choose between this ADX and Honda sh mode. Just to commute to and from work, and a bit of Uber after hours :D had 2014 Honda Vision for an about one year and had no issues, but my mate got SYM scooter as well and they are really good for that money. Hard decision… 😁
Light motorcycle "125cc" max power is 15hp. Wish Sym could release this ADX with stronger engine , like a 14,5hp. would be perfect! Great bike . perfect for motorhome

Did you find the clock on yours resets to 00:00 every ride ...ive tried adjusting it to correct time then when you turn off and on again its back to 0000 again .... maybe a software update needed.... great review Cheers mark

I went to the shop and i have seen it and ride it. The plastics are almost the same as in symphony st. I didn't see anything amazing apart from the high price. It's nice and small.
@@RideWithAlex the only reason for someone to buy it is the large fuel tank capacity! Apart from that the Daytona mista 125 is cheaper by 300 euro here and it's the same quality of plastics. The sym does not justify the price of adx 125 in any other way really. But yes it's a very nice looking scooter and certainly can go kind of off road if you want it no problem! The right price here should have been 3300 euro maximum.
in retrospect, it's kinda tragic how much better it would've been if it had like a 160cc or a 200cc engine instead. just a little bit more power to help it do more things on a highway or travel road. yeah 125cc touring is fun and all but like ability to go a 120kmph would've probably made it bit more convient.

Acum am in Scorpion Exo-920 Evo. Nu stiu daca mai gasesti. Pentru pretul ei e foarte ok, destul de linistita si comfortabila dar are ceva greutate in special cu camera pe ea si toate cele.

As zice costuri de întreținere cam cu 15-20% mai mici realist vorbind.
I am doubting between the Adx and the people S 125. I luke this one better but the people s has a bigger windshield and bigger wheels. What do you think?
The ADX is unique on the market, can't be compared to any other 125. It's a scooter made for touring long distance. It can do city riding no problem, but you are paying extra for everything it has on it for long distance travel, such things are: - Large fuel tank - 600km range - More space for the rider to be comfortable on a long trip (at a cost to passenger space) - The monoshock rear suspension for extra comfort and off-read ability - The underneath protection - The extra screws holding the fairings together so they don't rattle - The over build transmission with a variator bigger and a belt thicker then any 125cc - The increased oil capacity - The square underseat storage made to carry luggage not a helmet - The reinforced windshield mount so you can add a big touring windscreen - The reinforced luggage rack that can hold more then it's 5kg rating It's hard to compare the ADX125 to any scooter, it's a scooter made for the crazy person that wants to go around the world on a 125, it's an engineers dream come true. Sure it be a city scooter, but it was build to be much more then just a city scooter.

I'm interested in this, especially as a delivery rider I would love the 15L tank., I know these Chinese-made scooters are known for bad reliability compared to the likes of Honda etc, even right now on my Honda Forza 125cc I had 40k miles with no issues at all. my question is, how long do you think the longevity would be on one of these ideally?

This scooter has some really unique features I can't look away from, as for me, I always maintain my bikes and scooters as per the manual with the best oils and air filters, motul, k&n etc. Definitely my next scooter I'm looking to get maybe later this year or early next year. Alex, i have this scooter but at speed above 80kmh its extremely shaky and unstable for me and with wind, i will say dangerous. Do you think this skill can be learnt to ride through this? Or should i listen to my fear and just go slower?
It's a skill you learn. It's light and it's never going to be like a car or big bike. But it doesn't fall over you have to relax an let it move around a bit, it's normal

No one can answer that question better than you. That's why I have to ask you. I'm 180 cm tall. I currently use a 50 cc (piaggio zip). My sitting position is a bit awkward. I sit hunched over because the handlebars are down. My neck hurts after a while. I would like my hands / arms to be a little higher. So would sym adx or sym symphony st be better for me? (I'm asking from a purely ergonomic point of view, not from an aesthetic point of view). Because I am a courier and I sit on the scooter for a long time. Thanks for your answer :)
@@RideWithAlex I don't see why not, Honda manages it with the Forza 125 which is right at the top of the power range for a 125 at 14.7hp and it shows with a top speed in excess of 70mph. I suspect they've limited top power a little as they do have more premium models with a little more oomph and probably don't want to risk lowering sales of those models for this cheaper machine.
Sr gt este un scuter de oras puțin înălțat, adx este un scuter cu adevărat gândit sa faci off road cu el (știu ca suna ciudat) dacă vrei un 125 de oraș oricare din cele doua e bun, dacă ai nebunia sa pleci sa explorezi munți cu un scuter de 125 atunci ADX-ul
Salut Alex! Trebuie sa-ti fac o confesie😂 După ce am încercat și ADXul și Aprilia mi-am dat seama ca nu ma simt foarte bine pe ele , poate și din cauza înălțimii mele de 1.89 m asa ca am încercat o alta categorie XMAX și Fortza

De aceea zic mereu, mergeți în showroom macar stați pe ele, un scuter care pt mine la 1.75 poate fi fenomenal de comfortabil pt altcineva de alta statura poate fi absolut oribil. La scutere motociclete cel mai important lucru înainte de achiziție este sa stai pe el măcar 10-15 minute, spre deosebire de o mașină nu ai scaun / volan / pedale reglabile. Sa îl stăpânești sănătos 😁

@@megaultrashoot8741 nu are probleme intradevar sub sa nu baga jetul la 10cm de vreo mufă dau display-ul nu da cu jetul de apa la 5cm de display, dar în rest dacă stai cu jetul la 0.5-1m de el nu are nici o treaba.

@@RideWithAlex they have the same engine but i notice that adx125 runs better, i dont why,but it happens,even if is heavier,..you have the same opiion i think,adx can travel with 90 but jetx not
@@manousosnightwatcher2094 no they don't, there is not a single part shared between them, I have check all the part numbers. They have the same power output and they are both 125cc liquid cooled. But they do not share a single part. Even the air filter is different.
No I haven't ridden the SR GT. Tbh depends what is available to you and what's your budget. I absolutely adore my Symphony ST as a city scooter and wouldn't change it for anything.
Basically a 4 gallon gas tank?? SYM, would you bring this one to the states already?? Pleeeease! Edit: Now that I've seen the rest of this video (which I thank you kindly for, Alex), SYM just take me money and bring this to the US! Pretul de vanzare va fi probabil de peste 6000 euro...
Adx 300 probabil undeva în iulie august va sosi, dar dacă vrei cum zici mai spartan și sa călătorești cu costuri minime adx 125 este ideal pt asta.
Nu am informație de preț dar probabil în jurul la 6000

Hello Alex - I really appreciate your Videos - many thansk! I am very interested in the ADX but - not as an 125 as an 150. I drove the 125 with my grilfriend - want to use it for commuting to work and for trips. Therefore I thought the 150 with additional 3 PS (so almost 15) will be the better fit. Can you give me a hint if this model will be available somehow for me in Germany? Importing or buying in Europe / outside Germany? Many thanks!
It's curently only available in China, and i have no ideea if it will ever be available in the EU. It's curently not euro 5 complient so can't be sold here.

I don't know, my 2 biggest wishes from Sym now are and ADX250 and a Cruisym400. We will see EICMA 2023 what they bring to the table because I need a new touring machine, the BMW is nice but I'm still not clicking with it for really long trips, it's just to big and too heavy and cumbersome for what I do on trips. And ADX250 would fit the bill beautifully.
If sym team put 185cc engine from vf3 platform, this motor will sell like hot cakes , those engine are proven durable

Alex. First of all, greetings. I got to know you through your Symphony ST videos. I really wanted to buy that scooter at one point, but after seeing the ADX, my mind changed. (I have watched your all of 3 videos about ADX)
Despite there being dozens of videos on TH-cam, I haven't seen anyone ride and film as long as you do with the ADX.
I have just one question for you.
As someone who has traveled tens of thousands of kilometers with the ST, do you find the ADX more comfortable or the ST? (In terms of seat comfort, suspension comfort, overall quality/comfort)
Hip and back pain are crucial for me. I'm 180cm tall, so the correct seating position is important for me.
Which one can I travel longer distances with?
What are your thoughts on this?

The ADX is much better for long distance travels in every way. Go for it. If the ADX was available when I bought my ST I would have gone for the ADX for sure.

125cc may be underpowered in some places, but now it may be the cheapest method of travel (excluding hitchhiking :)).
So, after traveling all over the Netherlands with this scooter, I may consider going to other European countries with a more powerful scooter.

@@RideWithAlex I think about new bike , here in UK prices are exceptional. But I need to choose between this ADX and Honda sh mode. Just to commute to and from work, and a bit of Uber after hours :D had 2014 Honda Vision for an about one year and had no issues, but my mate got SYM scooter as well and they are really good for that money. Hard decision… 😁

The one we got in Europe doesn't have that feature, i don't know why. Check your local dealer.
Did you find the clock on yours resets to 00:00 every ride ...ive tried adjusting it to correct time then when you turn off and on again its back to 0000 again .... maybe a software update needed.... great review

I do think it kind of beats everything at this price point.
I went to the shop and i have seen it and ride it. The plastics are almost the same as in symphony st. I didn't see anything amazing apart from the high price. It's nice and small.
I own a symphony st and they may feel like the same plastics but off road they dont rattle, and yes I took the ST off road
@@RideWithAlex the only reason for someone to buy it is the large fuel tank capacity! Apart from that the Daytona mista 125 is cheaper by 300 euro here and it's the same quality of plastics. The sym does not justify the price of adx 125 in any other way really. But yes it's a very nice looking scooter and certainly can go kind of off road if you want it no problem!
The right price here should have been 3300 euro maximum.

in retrospect, it's kinda tragic how much better it would've been if it had like a 160cc or a 200cc engine instead. just a little bit more power to help it do more things on a highway or travel road. yeah 125cc touring is fun and all but like ability to go a 120kmph would've probably made it bit more convient.
I think 20bhp would have been an awesome sweet spot, a 190-200cc liquid cooled with 18-20bhp and 18-20nm of torque would have been the absolute bomb.

Acum am in Scorpion Exo-920 Evo. Nu stiu daca mai gasesti. Pentru pretul ei e foarte ok, destul de linistita si comfortabila dar are ceva greutate in special cu camera pe ea si toate cele.

ADX-ul, am mai multa incredere in el si nu doar pentru drumuri scurte, ci pentru drumuri lungi si foarte lungi pe langa oras si treburile cotidiene.

- Ghidon de moto pe care pot pune înălțător sau alte accesorii
La fiabilitate Sym e la același nivel cu honda yamaha kymco toți sunt pe acolo însă la Sym mai e de luat în calcul piesele un pic mai ieftine și la fel și manopera la service. As zice costuri de întreținere cam cu 15-20% mai mici realist vorbind.

I am doubting between the Adx and the people S 125. I luke this one better but the people s has a bigger windshield and bigger wheels. What do you think?
The ADX is unique on the market, can't be compared to any other 125. It's a scooter made for touring long distance. It can do city riding no problem, but you are paying extra for everything it has on it for long distance travel, such things are:
- Large fuel tank - 600km range
- More space for the rider to be comfortable on a long trip (at a cost to passenger space)
- The monoshock rear suspension for extra comfort and off-read ability
- The underneath protection
- The extra screws holding the fairings together so they don't rattle
- The over build transmission with a variator bigger and a belt thicker then any 125cc
- The increased oil capacity
- The square underseat storage made to carry luggage not a helmet
- The reinforced windshield mount so you can add a big touring windscreen
- The reinforced luggage rack that can hold more then it's 5kg rating
It's hard to compare the ADX125 to any scooter, it's a scooter made for the crazy person that wants to go around the world on a 125, it's an engineers dream come true. Sure it be a city scooter, but it was build to be much more then just a city scooter.

hi from the UK. I'm interested in this, especially as a delivery rider I would love the 15L tank., I know these Chinese-made scooters are known for bad reliability compared to the likes of Honda etc, even right now on my Honda Forza 125cc I had 40k miles with no issues at all. my question is, how long do you think the longevity would be on one of these ideally?
It all depends how you service it. I've seen SYM going over 100.000km (62.000miles) without issues but serviced correctly.

Sym are Taiwanese made. They do not suffer from the same reliability issues as Chinese made bikes. Sym are in fact a very reliable brand.

Alex, i have this scooter but at speed above 80kmh its extremely shaky and unstable for me and with wind, i will say dangerous. Do you think this skill can be learnt to ride through this? Or should i listen to my fear and just go slower?
It's a skill you learn. It's light and it's never going to be like a car or big bike. But it doesn't fall over you have to relax an let it move around a bit, it's normal

I'm 180 cm tall. I currently use a 50 cc (piaggio zip).
My sitting position is a bit awkward. I sit hunched over because the handlebars are down. My neck hurts after a while. I would like my hands / arms to be a little higher. So would sym adx or sym symphony st be better for me? (I'm asking from a purely ergonomic point of view, not from an aesthetic point of view). Because I am a courier and I sit on the scooter for a long time.

@@RideWithAlex I don't see why not, Honda manages it with the Forza 125 which is right at the top of the power range for a 125 at 14.7hp and it shows with a top speed in excess of 70mph. I suspect they've limited top power a little as they do have more premium models with a little more oomph and probably don't want to risk lowering sales of those models for this cheaper machine.

Sr gt este un scuter de oras puțin înălțat, adx este un scuter cu adevărat gândit sa faci off road cu el (știu ca suna ciudat) dacă vrei un 125 de oraș oricare din cele doua e bun, dacă ai nebunia sa pleci sa explorezi munți cu un scuter de 125 atunci ADX-ul

După ce am încercat și ADXul și Aprilia mi-am dat seama ca nu ma simt foarte bine pe ele , poate și din cauza înălțimii mele de 1.89 m asa ca am încercat o alta categorie XMAX și Fortza
Și am ajuns la concluzia ca cel mai bine ma simt pe Fortza, asa că am și făcut achiziția

De aceea zic mereu, mergeți în showroom macar stați pe ele, un scuter care pt mine la 1.75 poate fi fenomenal de comfortabil pt altcineva de alta statura poate fi absolut oribil. La scutere motociclete cel mai important lucru înainte de achiziție este sa stai pe el măcar 10-15 minute, spre deosebire de o mașină nu ai scaun / volan / pedale reglabile. Sa îl stăpânești sănătos 😁

Nu am apucat sa merg pe ploaie. In materie de spalat, da la jet, eu asa spal toate scuterele.

@@megaultrashoot8741 nu are probleme intradevar sub sa nu baga jetul la 10cm de vreo mufă dau display-ul nu da cu jetul de apa la 5cm de display, dar în rest dacă stai cu jetul la 0.5-1m de el nu are nici o treaba.

Pe canal găsești si drumul pe care l-am făcut cu el, pe autostrada era foarte fericit la 100-105km/h

You will notice a difference between the two, especially if o the weekends you go on longer rides.

@@manousosnightwatcher2094 no they don't, there is not a single part shared between them, I have check all the part numbers. They have the same power output and they are both 125cc liquid cooled. But they do not share a single part. Even the air filter is different.
Unless that windscreen is adjustable it will send the wind into the helmet, depending on the rider height
There are aftermarket screens that are taller.

No I haven't ridden the SR GT. Tbh depends what is available to you and what's your budget. I absolutely adore my Symphony ST as a city scooter and wouldn't change it for anything.
