Hi Dre, I just got off the OTR been driving 3 years and I want to drive the AFP position. I don’t like dealing the OTR lifestyle anymore. I just applied and I have a phone screen interview tomorrow. How would I know if Im hired? How much is the weekly paid? How many days in a week do you work? Can you work more after 40 hours? And when it’s peak season does it get busy and you make more? Thanks

Yeah I’ve never actually worked 3 days it’s always 4 or 5. I dnt think a 6th day is possible due to DOT hours, a 6th day would put you over your 70 hr clock.
I work for Amazon Tom Team. We have had these since 2020. They are OK but accelerate slow at first. Especially when theyre new, it can take 15-30 mins to fuel up depending on one of the 2 nozzle types. Cng burns cleaner but I feel you're fueling more often than a diesel. There's a gauge inside that tells you the % of fuel you have left. There's also a Carbon monoxide detector inside in case of a leak. We, Have Volvo, Peterbilts, Kenworth and I've seen Hyundai electric. I've driven the Peterbilt CNG, Volvo CNG and Diesel. But not the Kenworths.
I worked for irontiger logistics in Dublin VA and I pulled up Volvo trucks to be decked for shipping and they had cng trucks like those they mostly were vnr's and a few vnl's and most of them were on 80% and had a range of 187 miles which is pretty low. If anything I'd say a full tank of cng will give it a range of 250-300 miles could be wrong.

Yeah I gave it up for now, but I’m definitely loving Amazon it is definitely sweet, I would say easier than trash.
