- my opinion is... I'm not satisfied with this model... not user friendly.... too much of heat and noise.... it takes long time to grind.... i got defective grinder too ☹️

Definitely ultra is the best first one served us 13 years, we halted it after its stones lost its best grinding capacity. Again we purchaed new one in ultra after better experience with sowbhagya grinders

எல்லோரும் சொல்வது போல் 10 வருடங்களுக்கு முன் வாங்கிய Ultra Grinder நல்லாதான் இருக்கு ஆனா இப்ப வர்ற அல்ட்ரா கிரைண்டர் நன்றாக இல்லை எங்கள் குடும்பத்தில் 2 வருடங்களில் 3 கிரைண்டர் வாங்கியாச்சு எதுவும் சரியில்லை நன்றாகவே அரைப்பதில்லை
True sis, ultra is always topnotch because of conical stones.I used for 13 yrs , till now no problem. Total grinding time 20 mins only

I love ultra grinder only, Always best,within 1 hour everything will grind rice and Urandal both.
Am using Shantha tillting wet grinder past 40 years very good condition same like yours but tilting .

Actually no one is trying the tilting wet grinder which is most convenient these days. I own Sowbaghya shree tilting model which is good. People should go for it! Just a suggestion.

This is very similar to butterfly model. I too experienced same in my mother-in-law house what you said. Batter also getting stored in the middle. I have ultra grinder for 8 years. Not a single problem I experienced. Really ultra is very good

Ultra is best, but the closing rod is difficult to clean. Wish they had simple lid for closing in Ultra itself.

Thank You so much for your honest review. We have exact same problem back in India, Prestige won’t care if you are planning to return, Kasu wastu. This has to go to trash. TTK is a good company, Prestige make good cookers, but not the grinders. Apart from that customer care is there for consoling you, cannot take care of any of your problem.. If you ask further they will ask you to call number which no one answers😫

Ultra grinder, by using 17 size spanner, both the stones to be removed and cleaned (else we will get small quantity of black rice batter, from these parts, which is the old batter grinded during previous use.). If the time taken to grind becomes longer, the unit to be taken to service center, every time, they will alingn the stone. So the time taken to grind will be less. Some times the centre plastic cylinder, in the centre of the stone may also break, and will lead to black batter on the stone, if so the stone to be changed (both stones) and alighned at service centre.
Dont use it as it it is if the time taken to grind is longer, and if black batter small quantity seen while finishing.

I had ultra for 16 years. No problem at all. After that I a using again ultra perfect plus. It’s very good.
Yes prestige wet grinder is waste , as you told it gives lot of heat and not grinding properly bcoz the stones are not carved properly so rice are not grind properly, we carved the stone using drilling machines, I am staying in Gujarat

Akka first remove the stone ka. Then remove the drum... I m using this kind of Grinder for the past 12 yrs.. no worries. And for ulundu giv it 2 mins grind in mixie and then put it in grinder ka .. this grinder costs 3000 rs in tamilnadu cheap and best ka

I recently bought the ultra perfect+. Though it grinds good, I experience lot of trouble in cleaning, as there is lot of batter accumulation at the point where the grinding stone rod is connected to top closing handle and is difficult to clean properly. Do you have any tips for effective cleaning this ?

Neenga sonna adhe apo apo arisi thalli vittute irukanum illana arapadama appdiye irukum arisi orathulayum kallu adilayum. Nowadays all the company grinders are same like this in India also. The stones are very thin, so it takes long time to grind. They are making much noise, and producing much heat.
