All you have to do is change the capacitor. It's a start plus run capacitor. We have a 18 yrs grinder, and after it slowed down got a capacitor in Amazon and replaced it. Now works great.

Use baby wet wipes for cleaning, its super easy, i use wet wipes to clean grinder, mixie, most appliances, it dries fast and painless job. Only drums and mixie jars get water wash.
