I went to the drop in Front Royal while visiting my family this past weekend. was about 20th in line and the guy in front of me got the last Elmer T. Lee so ended up getting a Joseph Magnus Cigar Blend instead. always enjoy watching your adventures in and around my home state of VA. cheers! 🥃

I am on a Irish Whiskey Hunt, though I know what I am getting. I am sure it will be on the shelf. Gotta get those Whiskey Irish Coffees made. :) It is very crazy. I remember the last one a few weeks ago. The two locals by me had maybe 100 people in line. I just wanted to reload, so I got to skip the line and go in and buy what I wanted. You are crazy. Seeing the price of $349.99 for Knob Creek 18 in the opening is crazy! I feel extremely fortunate that I got it for $150.00. With the ABC, you at least have somewhat of a chance. We’re where you have no idea what, where, and when stuffs going to arrive. The Henry McKenna I can get every day for around $45 - $50. I can’t find John J Bowman or Coopers Craft. Weird how distribution is arranged.

Oh, I definitely think it is one of the smoothest bourbons I've ever tasted. Elmer enjoyed it with Ginger Ale. The MSRP is about $38. Hard to find at that price for sure.
Right he said that. But early on when he was a bit younger he said he drank it with Ginger Ale. From Reddit: Elmer T Lee himself preferred his bourbon with ginger ale. Drink it how you like and ignore the neckbeards. Now in his last interview he said he liked lemon and lime. You can drink it anyway you want.
Virginia is a communist state when it comes to liquor. Usually poor selections as well. A lot of folks not interested in the barrel picks, maybe due to finances. The lotteries have been a proven scam. Inside work, a few convicted. Even when they said they corrected it, the same three or four people somehow won everything. If I’m going to look for something special, I believe South Carolina is a better option. Plus, don’t try any private sales in Virginia if you lucked out on a lottery buy. You may end up being sorry. Will have to check out those tunnels. There use to be a nice new highway outside of Bluefield where I was tempted to get up to 188 on my bike, but, again, it is Virginia, and it’s a communist state. Back in the day, there were a dozen State Troopers in the entire state.
I enjoyed reading your comments. They definitely need to make changes. I have the best success looking in Tennessee and West Virginia, and of course, Las Vegas.
