@vegastocali - I love looking for bourbon in Las Vegas because they sometimes have very hard to find bottles. All Virginia ABC stores are controlled by the State. In Nevada the Liquor stores are independently owned, so what each store has varies, and unfortunately so do the prices. You can find unique bottles but the prices could be higher than MSRP

Yeah, it will be nice to head down there every once and a while to build some tier points. We usually go to Harrah's Cherokee Casino and build up points. Cherokee is supper nice. Nathan probably has double the amount of bottles I have. He is a major collector. Yeah, we went to the bar and tried to order an old fashioned and he said, you definitely don't want an old fashioned here. He said they didn't have the ingredients. Thanks for all the great info! I love it. Definitely going to try and hit a few distilleries when I make that trip! Probably make that trip in the Spring, May perhaps.

I've found that if you stop in the ABC's around 11am you are more likely to find them putting out the allocated bottles. They are typically dropped every two weeks. Which day of the week is the question. Once you figure that out you can find some nice bottles.

If you like BBQ, I think you would enjoy Bennett's. We have always had a good experience. There are two locations - one in Pigeon Forge and one in Gatlinburg. We really enjoy Gatlinburg, but dealing with the traffic can sometimes be a headache.

Yeah, $57 for John J Bowman is not a bad price. I paid like $45 a couple years ago. I hope it is worth the $57. Yeah, It was very hard for me to pay $200 for that bottle, but I knew I would never see it again. I will save it for a very special occasion!

Ely is definitely very intersting. I have been all up and down HWY 93. I've done a couple of videos on Pioche. I explored the Ward Charcoal Ovens - in the snow! I went to the Great Basin, but it was closed due to the snow. I definitely want to go back and explore the Great Basin. Thanks for watching!

@@FrontiersmanAdventures My pleasure. I enjoyed your video. About 20 years ago, I lived in Las Vegas for a while, and did plenty of exploring around Nevada, and southern Utah. Sounds like you hit most of the good stuff along 93. It's a pity the park was closed when you were there. The caves were pretty cool. Pioche is really an interesting spot for sure. Almost like going back in time. I was pleased to learn that the old Gem Theater is going through restoration. Cathedral Gorge between Pioche and Caliante is a cool stop along the way. And if you ever feel inclined to take a couple of detours, HWY 318 to the Elgin Schoolhouse from Caliante is really nice drive, and so is the ride to Spring Valley State Park, which is to the northeast of Pioche on the other side of 93.

@@ZetaReticuli_ - Glad you enjoyed the video. Pioche is one of my favorite places in Nevada along with Tonopah. I have checked out Cathedral Gorge it is pretty darn cool, but I definitely need to check out the Elgin School House and Spring Valley State Park. Caliente is pretty neat itself and I ate at a really cool restaurant there. My favorite place to visit was the Delamar Ghost Town its an awesome place. I've also been to several of the Ghost Towns in Nevada. It's really neat to visit these old mining towns.

@@FrontiersmanAdventures I do think Nevada gets overlooked quite a bit. There's so much more to it than just Las Vegas. I missed Delamar when I was out there, but will be adding that to my list. Caliente is a really cool spot too, I agree.
