For you to be as new to skateboarding as you are I appreciate how thorough you are with the breakdown. I feel like some people are not suited for this sort of thing and TH-cam is over saturated. Your channel and a few being exceptions. I'm a bit older than you (34) and I started skating back around 12 or so and you seem to be as knowledgeable as someone who's been skating for 20 odd years.

And I feel you on the fit of the pant, I switched from slim straight to relaxed straight a while back and I feel like the jeans I have balance the look of the sneaker out. Definitely not a show for a skinny pant. Lmao.

@@gfeast4518 DSW Shoes had them for a time on sale. Every so often I'd go to Google to look up the NB 1010 to see what is out there. I've seen them at times around $85.
@@TheReal_DeanD I don’t see any on dsw at the moment, I feel like smaller skate shops would have some but it’s hard to look through all of their sites and find a size. Amazon/ Zappos had a pair for $87 but it would be nice to get some cheaper than that. I need the foy 306 too haha
@@frankrotthier4392 I've been hitting gym alot of late which I think and hope helps haha. As per the 808, nah I hadn't. None were on special and not the biggest fan of the look. The 1010 is elite.
New subscriber here, i have 2 pairs in suede for +90 each and i was doubting how good was the sole, i can see it will work. No shoe goo so i bet the suede it will work fine too.
I dont like the leather version the ones with the leather toe area feals way to stiff but I realy like the way they look, il have to try the ones that have the mesh toe area surely those ones are more flexible

I’m on my second pair and I like the padding in the 1010’s and once you break them in they are almost perfect 👍 good review

Just got my first pair after skating mainly Half Cabs. They feel great on my feet at the moment. 47 year old skate dad here 😂
That's awesome! I hope to be skating still at that age. These shoes are great. Like pillows on my feet haha

Good review. I want to try the suede ones if I can find them at a good price. I have wide feet and a lot of shoes are too narrow for me.
I sort of have the same issue. These are nice after the break in. I want to hunt the suede down too for next time

The suede should have more movement and stretch in the long run. I think I'll hunt some down soon!
Did you have any issues with your heel lifting out of the shoe as you're walking?

Maybe it’s time for NB to shine. They are ugly but they do perform. I was skeptical but other skaters said they are the real deal.
