I'm looking at either these or the 1010's simply because I'm almost 40 and i just got back into skating after nearly 2 decades and I'm experiencing serious foot(heel mostly) pain and knee pain. I am already a fairly active person and i work outdoors on my feet al day but this foot and knee pain is new for me, from all I've seen so far the 808's and 1010s are probably the best for pain relief.
Good shoes and insoles will help ur feet, but at least in my experience, my knees didn’t get any better until I started doing exercises and stretches to support my knee. Also a long warmup is crucial
Putting in FP insoles in the 808s is kinda overkill hahhaha. It’s crazy my pair of 808 still hasn’t really broken in(2 weeks worth of skating in them). But yeah just get the 1010s. It’s the better Tiago shoe in my opinion.
I put FP's in my 808's too it just feels better than stock. If the shoe was a little less tight (my size 8 feels like a 7.5), and the inside was made with softer materials (it feels/looks unfinished), helps if you have super soft socks I guess. It does feel a little chunky, they should've made the outsole less thick. The 1010's are overall better I just wish they were a little more snug ironically
@@franciscoramirez9867 I only do FPs on vulc shoes. On cups like the 808 or the 1010 I already feel protected haha. But yeah I agree with you on the 1010s, I wish they were more snug. The 1010s I’ll get them a half size down.
What if you could get a pair of 808s for less than 1010s? Which would you get? I have 2 pairs of 1010s havnt skated either pair but I love my 1010s. I've never owned or skated a pair of 808s.
@@cbass801 and you have had both? I really like new balance numeric in general and the 1010 in particular but I wanna try the 808s just don't wanna be disappointed. The 1010s work great with y slim tapered jeans so idk if the 808s will work the same.
Liking your videos but the music is quite loud, a bit distracting 😅 Skating both the 1010's and 808's as well. Haven't decided which one I like the best yet. 808's feel super solid on impact tricks, 1010's have more boardfeel. I did notice the bottom sole of the shoe was wearing out faster because of the griptape on the 808's than the 1010's, did you notice that too?
I just got this shoes and they feel tight and a bit small, I got 9 and 10 was bigger, I must be 9.5 but I cant find that size and nine feels uncontrollably painful I regret buying these ones, I have adidas Nora and they are way better and comfy

A good set of insoles would probably help as well!
@@cbass801 Yeah, I recently found FP insoles and I believe they will be what I grab when I pick up my new shoes.
Good choice 👌

I like the new shoe feel of chunky shoes , I do my best skating on new pairs on accel ogs , broken in feel good too, I just love how they feel new
I agree the bigger shoes lately tend to be my favorite!
Same I love new shoe feel when skating
Great review
My heel slips out of them when I walk 😢
good watch out on sizing....they were def waaay too small for me. Smallest sizing ever.

How did you adjust to the weight of the shoe? I bought a pair a year ago and they just felt too heavy for me? Is that just a me problem?
I used to skate the big heavy ones back in the mid 2000's. It took a bit to get used to again!

808s are similar a bit different. I would probably go with the 808s if I could get them cheaper!
@@cbass801 do they work with slim jeans or do they look weird? 1010s work with my slim tapered jeans so I'm just curious.

Yeah I did notice, but still blew thru the side before the sole. I really am growing on the 808s i think i will get a other pair soon.
Love your videos, could you bring the background music down a bit behind the speaking on future videos?
Will do thanks for the feedback!

I had the same issues sizing up seemed to help as well as loosening up the laces. Haven't bought another pair since.
Would you sell them?
They are pretty blown out idk if you'd want them if you saw them in person.
super glue your stitches and theyll last a little longer.
turn the fackin music down bruv
