94-98’s are my favorite mustangs!!! I have a 96 cobra myself, and my younger brother has a 95 gt with a trick flow top end kit and vortech blower that you can see in a few videos on my channel
Unless your tracking the car regularly, the regular cobra brake upgrade is more than adequate of aggressive street and mild track use. That being said, the wheel candy these caliper add is almost worth it at it is.
Terminator is a Dream car aside of a Shelby. But for now I’m loving my 97 cobra. I got the FTR gt500 front Brembo kit for it. These brakes would be nice too
Have eyed this for years. But my Mach’s stock set up with good pads and braided lines (bought J&M SS lines from you a few years ago) is fairly stout. Not sure I would see that much more braking performance with these…Still…they are great looking and maybe I’ll upgrade when my stock calipers finally need replacing…great video
Just purchased this setup through y'all for my '93 LX and was wondering about the dust shields. My car is currently running standard SN95 99-01 GT brakes up front, and the dust shields seemed like they weren't quite the right size but if they'll work then I suppose that will save me the hassle of trying to figure out another solution.
They'll work. The 2000 Rs had a unique dust shield in that Ford integrated a brake cooling duct. I've ran standard Mustang dust shields on several cars with the M-2300-X setup. Funny though, I used to use 17" mustang GT wheels for winter wheels on my factory Brembo equipped Genesis coupe.I only had 3mm clearance, but they do work.
Definitely worth every penny. I absolutely love this brake kit and was such and easy install. Huge improvement from the old cobra brakes.

I like using lmr, but I spent a little over 500 for basically the exact same thing using Cadillac brembos

What if your inside bleeder is broken off? Will only doing the outside still work if I just take more time

Any regular old vacuum cap will work. You can buy an assortment from most auto parts stores. -Landan

The NVX will not clear this kit. The NVX will not clear other BBK's like StopTech, Baer and Wilwood.

Can they fit an 04 v6?
The V6 and the GT use the same brake caliper and rotors. So yes, the kit would work on a V6. 99-04 all the same.
Nock a grand off and make them in red and you got a deal
