For how strong it is in its mega form, it would become too strong if you could choose when to mega. It also adds a bit of stratigizing to when you want to fight or when you want to wait. The gauge balances the pokemon very well.

Mewtwo is my favorite Pokémon so I’m as excited as I can be for this launch! I wish the differences between both Mewtwo were bigger. Maybe a Psycho Cut on Mewtwo X. Something more physical.
Was only a matter of time before we finally got a Zeus/Karthus ult in this game. Though I guess in the most technical sense the ult is closer to HotS Diablo. Very excited for Mewtwo-X. Megas finally being here is enough for me to be excited, Mewtwo is just a nice bonus this time.
@voidweaver8333 The og is Zeus, though. All others are technically derivative of that original ult from Defense of the Ancients. It's a common concept in mobas to have a global "auto target" ult that gives vision and does a chunk of damage, so it was simply a matter of time before it came to Unite.
There’s going to be that person out there in a random match that we won’t know about where they stole both top and bottom objectives from behind and somehow stole the ray with it as well in the same match somehow. And they don’t know about sharing it online so it’s just there, the replay gone after sometime
Revealing location of your enemies during the ray fight is broken af. I can just imagine this pokemon being used competitively. Let's say that u see a defender, a supporter and an all rounder coming after u and then u reveal the other 2 being the enemy attackers hiding in the grass and waiting for the right opportunity to cc and area dmg the opposite team, so basically ur speedster will have an idea on how to KO the attackers first.
If multiple enemies are on Ray and Mewtwo uses its unite. Will Ray receive multiple damage because the enemies circle's are close to each other (assuming they start rip it in the pit). I understand that it won't stack damage on opposing team but what about objective 😅
A great comparison to mewtwos unite would be Tenta Missles from Splatoon Although Missles in Splatoon has more qunatity both moves allow for something significant displacement, and the ability to see the enemy pokemon globally It forces the enemy to get out of their hiding spot in the bushes scrambling them, or get hit by dmg. At the same time it will reveal exactly were they are, yes its easy to dodge but the value it provides from just using it is very good
I'd like to take a second to appreciate how charismatic and kind Jake is. I watched a video of another content creator (he pointed out how pokemon unite is "only" p2w) today which felt so weird. He seemed really uncharismatic and sweared a lot and somehow seemed like a really disgusting person to me and still had more than 2 million subscribers

I think Recover+Future Sight will work best on Mewtwo X and Teleport+Psystrike will work better with Mewtwo Y. What I've seen, you can Teleport on M-Y twice, but with M-X its only once.
Hello from the future. I took a year off from this game, and only came back because of Mewtwo. I picked X blindly, and took it into ranked (completely on accident) and rattled off 9 wins in a row. At one point, I had 25, 28, 29, and 29 KOs, all in a row (screen grabs to prove it). MewTwo X is ABSOLUTELY broken in every way. I average about 10 KOs, depending on role, with other Pokémon, so I’m about average I guess. I use scope lens, razor claw and muscle band. I can single handedly takeover the entire game without once having to go back to base to heal, unless someone sneaks past me and I have to go back and KO them. That’s how goddamn broken MewTwo X is. I am AVERAGE, but an absolute threat with MewTwo X smh.
i would like to find out if the unite move stacks on wild pokemon. so if the whole enemy team is on rayquaza, pop the unite move, rayquaza gets hit 5 times. that would feel like it was made to steal kills if it does that.
I’ve been playing Mewtwo and I’ve been boot scoot boogeyin’ all over the map😂. Been doing Psystrike-Recover with Razor Claw, Float Stone, and Muscle Band and it’s been super fun! I like using recover before I go into psystrike for a shield because by the time psystrike is done I can use recover again and just keep going back n forth
First thing I did when I saw the mega symbol on the mewtwo announcement was look at how much of the current roster has megas, and it’s most of em which is a good sign.

Honestly, the only thing I wish was different was the ability names. Psystrike seems like the better name for the ability that pulls enemies in so you can... strike them.

To all the people who call mewtwo as zacian 2.0,hear me out...its not at all broken like zacian was. Zacian ws broken cause it had a bug that completely ignored defenses and it had an easy cooldown resets on its moves which broke sacred sword build. Whereas mewtwo has good bulk,it IS NOT broken in terms of damage,not even its unite move
i know it sound crazy but i think mewtwo need a buff for its mega bar where the mark will fill up a little like 5% when you hit someone and the bar fills like 25% when you kill someone

It's actually lower than Zacian Crowned once Zacian in on the battlefield. Mewtwo X only has a higher attacker when both Pokemon haven't entered the battlefield.

I'm not very excited about Mewtwo. I really don't like the whole mega thing just triggering randomly. They should have added an extra button like with Mew's move reset ability which would become enabled when the meter is full. I can imagine a lot of frustrating moments where you trigger mega on the last hit and then you're just walking around in mega form for no reason and it gets wasted. And then in the next fight your meter is totally empty and you have to start again.
Does the ultimante DMG stack with multiple strikes? Let's just say I just respawned and 5 people are fighting Rayquaza, does it stack with each hit for potential burst on Ray?
I feel like its not gonna be easy with x to mega with how broken some Pokemon are special attacker that stay out of range and Pokemon like zora who will kill u before u evolve or dragonite and many more i feel like its gonna be very hard by the time u evolve into mega form you'll be less then half hp or dead i have a feeling its gonna be a mediocre but can't say the same about y bcz that's a ranged poki with special attack which has a spoon item so
I’m not sure how I feel about Megas or holowear changing moveset/typing , it just feels like pay to win. A gold armour gardevoir or charizard with OP stats and moves feels inevitable
@@DarkSoul2103 it’s in the patch notes for the most recent update , also since the update the character/ holowear selection screen includes individualised information for each outfit such as ‘role, type, moveset’ , I imagine this is because they will no longer be locked to specific Pokémon or licenses. A speedster cinderace with a different moveset locked to a specific holowear for example.
Imagine a Gardevoir unite hitting all members of the enemy team, into an espeon unite, into mewtwo's unite. boom!

So if 5 mon are on ray and you use ult, would the ult hit ray 5x??? if so the damage if in mega with tp could be 15-20k damage on the ray?
As when you did tp mega ult on snorlax and the substitute doll it did hit for 4k

I'm not very excited about Mewtwo. I really don't like the whole mega thing just triggering randomly. They should have added an extra button like with Mew's move reset ability which would become enabled when the meter is full.
I can imagine a lot of frustrating moments where you trigger mega on the last hit and then you're just walking around in mega form for no reason and it gets wasted. And then in the next fight your meter is totally empty and you have to start again.
This game was already balanced Enough and now they added Mewtwo, oh my god I love this update, such a balanced game, keep it up gamefreak

Does the ultimante DMG stack with multiple strikes? Let's just say I just respawned and 5 people are fighting Rayquaza, does it stack with each hit for potential burst on Ray?
no it doesnt. I show that in the vid

I feel like its not gonna be easy with x to mega with how broken some Pokemon are special attacker that stay out of range and Pokemon like zora who will kill u before u evolve or dragonite and many more i feel like its gonna be very hard by the time u evolve into mega form you'll be less then half hp or dead i have a feeling its gonna be a mediocre but can't say the same about y bcz that's a ranged poki with special attack which has a spoon item so
The time will tell. Future Sight and Teleport are the moves to close the distance between you and an enemy, so it doesn't seem to me as bad as you say

I’m not sure how I feel about Megas or holowear changing moveset/typing , it just feels like pay to win. A gold armour gardevoir or charizard with OP stats and moves feels inevitable

@@DarkSoul2103 it’s in the patch notes for the most recent update , also since the update the character/ holowear selection screen includes individualised information for each outfit such as ‘role, type, moveset’ , I imagine this is because they will no longer be locked to specific Pokémon or licenses. A speedster cinderace with a different moveset locked to a specific holowear for example.
