Seeing this in 2022 is remarkably refreshing. I feel there is something special to the rawness and pure authentic storytelling capabilities he has. It’s so hard to get on social media now without seeing someone try to force products or falsely curated versions of reality. This. This is gold.

well... im having a casey video marathon, seeing as his videos are one of the only things that truly help me relax and feel happy. so i stumbled upon this video, watched the whole thing and couldnt help but cry a bit in the end. casey, you're not exactly that much of a romantic... but you're thoughtful. you're loving. you care and you fight hard to win. you and candice are perfect for each other and all the differences you may have make both of you more and more suitable for each other. the way you described relationships towards the end was right as well. plus, seeing as im watching this in 2016, im confident in the fact that you have succeeded, and you ARE succeeding. i believe that you are perfect for each other, and your family is perfect as well. you deserve every blessing coming your way mr. neistat; as for failures and mistakes, they're blessings in disguise!! ;) so happy to be a part of your channel and in a way, your life(just like you play a part in mine). lots of love. xx

It has always blown me away how patient Candice has always been with Casey. Sometimes you can see she's got the "It's time to turn the fucking camera off now, Casey" look, but then other times you can tell she is actually helping him get the shots he wants. Like backing the RV out and driving it away. And she does the same thing in his vlogs from time to time. So you can tell she really does care, but at the same time doesn't like having the camera film every little detail, which I think Casey understands. but it also seems like it's opened Candice up a bit more as the years go by. He is such a lucky fucker _and he knows it!_
Like @ 14:12 she could have ignored the camera but was a good enough sport to actually talk TO the camera and not just to Casey. Small example, but you see them all over the place.

+Carl Pascual I watched a lot of other Casey vids before this one, and I felt Candace was surly. However, I saw her looking really happy in this vid a few times. I think Casey would be pretty hard to live with. He's VERY hyper, and gives a great part of his time and energy to vlogging...and probably exhausts and neglects Candace often. I've also never seen him say really supportive and warm stuff to Candace. I can totally understand her doubting Casey's commitment and love.
Casey, soften mate. She needs you to regularly affirm what your actions don't.
Otherwise, I bet most would be happy if you put out 1 to 3 vids a week, and worked on the relationship more.
OTOH, maybe I've got it totally wrong, and Candace is a vacuous grouch, for which too much will never be enough to help her get over terminal angst and depression. And Casey needs to find a partner with similar energy and enthusiasm.
