The most honest minimalist, because so many don't count shared stuff.

Only 371 items is actually very impressive! Good job! I’m on a journey to minimalism too, but it’s very hard for me because I love making things and sometimes I feel like I need more tools, equipment or materials to make certain things. If anyone has a similar problem, try finding tools that have multiple purposes instead of the ones that only do one specific thing. I hope that helps 😊

Your positive and non-judgemental attitude is such a breathe of fresh air compared to a lot of TH-camrs. If you ever come to do your tea ceremony in the UK, I’ll swing by and say hello 🍵

Your videos always inspire me to curate the items I own to be things I love and really take care of. The process to lower what I own is one I’m taking slowly so I don’t make any hasty decisions, plus working full time at a company cuts down my time to focus on this in a meaningful way. And that’s a big thing I want to do too, to do it meaningfully.

Ah I relate to feeling 悲しい when I find an item I forgot I had 👀🥺 I stored many new bags and shoes for so long they started to break, even though they have not been used. I feel like when you don't use an item, for example with elastic like socks, it breaks faster because it's sad 😱😅 So now I am trying to sell what I haven't been using. No way I can count all the items I own though 😅😂🙈

You have 371 item however some of them is used toward your hobby such as matcha making art and camping. If you don't do that stuff, it possible even less. Minimalist is not about that concept though. You are minimalist enough by using all your item accordingly and don't have excessive copy for 'just in case'.

Thank you for sharing this video with everyone. It's an eye opener. I have been on my minimalist approach for a few years, I have a lot less items than I did have and I am mainly grateful for visual decluttering but my decluttering journey continues as it has helped me so much with anxiety and well being. I started "toilet god" two months ago 😉 which has helped me too. Thank you for your help, it is really appreciated.

Aki-san, thank you for this video. I am very impressed and inspired by your minimalist life. 317 items is not bad, still easy to move. I am, however appalled at how many items my Western house must have - it’s a work in progress. Minimalism looks so serene. Congratulations! I need to work on this a lot!!! I definitely have way too much stuff.
I have 4 cats and a dog, so I definitely have to have extra stuff for them. We could probably pare things down a bit.
I absolutely love your suggestions for the magnesium and citric acid for doing laundry, as well as the cloth instead of using bulky bath towels (I forgot the name).
I always end up with too many clothes, but I go through them quickly because I’m a pet sitter and get really dirty really quickly.

Emptied my outdoor shed, and gave it to my neighbor. 😊 I also have a home and vitamin inventory list on my laptop also lessens anxiety and I don’t buy stuff I already own again.
