"She's small!" - LOL, your reaction was the same as mine when I met her a few years ago. They opened for Kamelot and I was more excited to see Battle Beast. After the show, she met fans and I was stunned by how small she is. She is tiny, but you would never know because her presence is so larger than life. I wish I would have talked to her more, but she seemed so shy, I didn't want to put upon her too much.
Familiar Hell is a good song with a brilliant video. From the same album King For A Day is a brilliant song, probably in my Battle Beast top 10, with great video too. It has the same vibe and message as Master Of Illusion... 🤘🤘
I also found them by accident by researching a band who have a similar name... found them tonight and oh wow!! What a discovery! Im in love! So glad that you are enjoying them as much as a do in such a short time!
@DaneBramageROCKS it won't happen. I have all 6 albums and there isn't a bad song on any of them, no song I skip. Sure I have a few favourites, but I like every song. Also Dane, each new song you listen to will show you something new too, whether it's the style, or Noora's vocals, it's very rare that a song sounds like another of their songs. (The only obvious exception is World On Fire sounds ALOT like Eden, lol) I don't know if you've noticed but I love Battle Beast lol... 🤘🤘

Yeah older than that you're probably looking at "used". I buy CDs myself and never bothered with vinyl. CD copies you can get anywhere, you could even find the original release of Steel by Hype Records if you looked hard enough... 🤘🤘
You should listen to a band called Beast in Black. Especially the songs: Oceandeep and Blind and Frozen. The band Beast in Black was founded by the same person who also founded Battle Beast earlier. Anton Kabanen.
Saw them live a few months ago absolutely incredible. They don’t play much from early years but the newer stuff is just as good. Not a lot of people showed up but they put on an amazing performance. Saw them in Portland Or.

I am mostly familiar with Apocalyptica and Nightwish. Both have unique styles. Hopefully you have heard some of their stuff also (especially 'Apocalyptica Plays Metallica by Four Cellos' 1996). @@DaneBramageROCKS And for some reason this made me think of Sisters of Mercy, an English band from the 80's (yes, I am old!) They have two songs I absolutely love: 'This Corrosion; and 'Temple of Love' (with Ofra Haza who had the most beautiful voice!)
I was at that show - front and centre in fact, and I pop up a couple of times during the crowd shots in the song. It was a party from start to finish and my personal highlight of the festival - and believe me there were some contenders. Interestingly, this song was her *worst* during the show in terms of vocal performance. A better example would be the last song of their set "Beyond the burning skies", after she had been belting it out for the entire concert. Definitely check that out.
Subscribed for the Eurovision content and found that you've done these great reactions to one of my favourite bands, Battle Beast 😍. I wholeheartedly recommend going to see them live, Noora is amazing. I've also going to see them next summer, at least once. I've already bought tickets to one festival where they play but that's in August, so maybe I'll see them before that too. The short summers are full of open air music festivals here in Finland and I intend to enjoy as many of them as I can.

Battle Beast is certainly an interesting band. Nora has a very good voice. I started listening to Finnish music after Käärijä, whereas before Käärijä I didn't do that at all. Battle beast is my favorit band. I first time heard them on finnish Rock Radio. They won 2010 Radio Rock Starba competition. And Wacken is kind of their 'home' cause they also won the international Wacken Metal Battle 2010. I love Battle Beast and I love this song Eden. This is a softer side to Noora and Battle Beast for sure, as is the No More Hollywood Endings album that this song is from. The album does have a few heavier songs on it though and stays true to the power house Battle Beast we know and love. Other songs to check out from the album are The Golden Horde, Piece Of Me, and a wonderful ballad called Bent and Broken. I've seen Battle Beast live, they are awesome they really are and I have to confess, I've heard Noora sound even better than this, not that she sounded at all bad, she sounded great. Their live shows are so good. To hear Noora at her best live I recommend you listen to Sea of Dreams, live at St Petersberg 2015 So you've heard Battle Beast do mid tempo belters, you've now heard their softer side. You've yet to hear one of their ballads. You really do need to hear one of their fast paced aggressive power metal songs now, and for that I recommend Madness, Bringer of Pain, Tempest of Blades, Kingdom. Great reaction Dane... 🤘🤘

They really are Party Metal like Noora said in one interview. Someone suggested that you should listen to their Iron Hand official live video, which is with their original singer, and you definitely should. Nitte is a fantastic singer too.
