Battle Beast fan here, Noora is today's Janis Joplin. There's incredible female vocalists in metal, but her range is so powerful and clean. This Circus of Doom is near perfection with each band member complimenting the other on many tracks. Appreciate your listen!
Battle Beast are awesome, and Noora Louhimo is incredible. She used power for this song, but she also sings with a lower rasp in some songs, she can also sing clean which is just beautiful when she does. This is from the 6th and latest album called Circus of Doom and its just brilliant. Other songs you should listen to from the album are Eye of the Storm, and Tempest of Blades, but every song is awesome. Like I said they have 6 albums, every album is awesome with so many bangers, you have entered a rabbit hole you won't want to escape from. Recommendations from older albums are, Let it Roar, Out of Control, Black Ninja, I Want the World, Touch in the Night, Far Far Away, King for a Day, Beyond the Burning Skies, God of War, Eden, Piece of Me, Raise Your Fists. For her clean vocals they have a few ballads, try Sea of Dreams, Angel Cry, or Bent and Broken. This is merely a starter though, they have so many songs for you to discover. Finally, I have to say they are absolutely brilliant live, Noora sounds exactly the same as on the albums, if not better. I saw them in Manchester UK last September 2022, and I'm seeing them again in November, in Manchester UK again. I cannot wait.... 🤘🤘

Just another recommendation, their old guitarist called Anton left Battle Beast after their 3rd album, he was their main songwriter at the time, and he formed another band called Beast in Black. They are also awesome with an incredible male vocalist. Check them out, try Blind and Frozen, From Hell With Love, or Moonlight Rendezvous. You won't regret it. 🤘🤘

I just recently discovered Battle Beast at their live show here in Mesa, Arizona, because I was there to see Blackbriar, who was on tour with them. I haven't been able to stop listening to their music ever since. In my opinion, they have raised the bar on songwriting and music production. Most inspiring.
Blackbriar are a brilliant band too Dane, their lead singer is Zora Cock and she's as quirky as she is awesome. Check out Cicada, Beautiful Delirium, or Ready to Kill... 🤘🤘

The lead vocalist, Marko Saaresto has the most beautiful bass-baritone voice and they have many fantastic songs in their catalog. Battle Beast fan here, for about three years. That's when I started to listen metal more, previously I was more into other genres. Own four albums, two more to get. Love listening all of them, old and new. First I was blown away by Noora's vocals, but I very much dig their music as well. When I listed my fav BB songs, they tended not to have music videos, which means they got much less views in TH-cam. Plenty of good music videos too.

Far Far Away, Tempest Of Blades, and Let It Roar are perfect examples of this. Just to say, I have all 6 albums, and I love all 6... 🤘🤘 Just to add, Battle Beast don't do many ballads, but when they do they're incredible, and not one of them has a video so slip under the radar. @@stebow1977 Yeah I like metal ballads as well, for me not all songs need to kick ass. "I Wish" is my fav BB ballad, but it's a tight match with "Sea of Dreams". "Tempest of Blades" is a reason to get that special album.

Honestly the original is awesome, but Battle Beasts version is nothing short of incredible, a must listen. Sea Of Dreams is the only ballad I've heard them perform live unfortunately, I'd love to hear Bent And Broken live, that one is my favourite ballad by them. This is defintaly my most favorite song of this band, I'm so in love with BB, omg, I don't know how I could life w/o them before discovering my Valkyrie and there Immortals from Valhalla. I saw Noora live and her breath is endless... She screams even if she don't have because she can... she is dancing and jkuming because she can, because endless breath. That's amazing. One of there unrated videos for reaction is "Bringer of Pain" which she shows also what her voice and lungs could do. Stunning... Noora Louhimo also has a solo project where she dabble more into soul and blues. One of her biggest inspirations is Janis Joplin, but also Ronnie James Dio and Bruce Dickinson. She was also pretty busy during covid as she did a fair share of guest appearances for other bands such as Ammaranthe and Hammerfall. But she also did a collaboration with Netta Laurenne called Laurenne/Louhimo as well as featuring on a few songs for game developer Riot's metal project called Pentakill. After Nitte Valo left the band, Battle Beast discovered Noora on TH-cam singing Janis Joplin covers.

It's great to see that they get some recognition from all around the world. I just saw them headline a show the other day and can say it was the best concert I've ever seen. They are magic on stage. Her voice sounds studio perfect and you can tell they love their fans. Even better, they are live streaming all their shows, so you can watch them now even if you can't make the show. This video is ten months old, so I'm sure you've discovered more, but Noora's solo album and other side projects are also fantastic.

Other Finnish hidden gems are Wintersun and Amorphis. I assume you know Nighwish already.

Battle Beast fan here as well, saw them in NY earlier this year. I'm still trying to figure out the story here. We know that justice is blind. And I'm guessing the guy with the rest shirt is the devil - not sure why but something related to money. The guy in black that took the bread and wine must be a priest. I'm not sure who the lady in green is. And the rest of the "characters" are TBD. And with the characters we have so far, I still don't know who she i. I'll try to figure it out eventually :)

Lady in green is truth wich usally sooner or later comes out and reviels.illusion. That makes people in white to dissapear cause they don't believe to Illusion anymore.

@DaneBramageROCKS Jonny mentioned Tatiana from a band called Jinjer. If you're not familiar with Jinjer you need to check them out. Tatiana is one of a kind, she's awesome. For an introduction to Jinjer I highly recommend a song called Pisces, but the studio live session version (she's wearing a white vest top). If you've never heard them before it'll totally blow your mind lol... 🤘🤘
What do you mean the way he was kicked out was fucked up? He left because of his huge over inflated ego. He wanted full control of everything creative with no input from any other band member, but the rest couldn't accept that and why should they? A band is more than 1 member. There were other issues, and Nitte Valo left because of tensions with Anton and his ego. The official reason was family, but through various interviews since its made clear she left because of Anton and his ego. Immediately after the split the band wanted to keep things respectable and keep details of Anton's departure to themselves, yet Anton slagged the band off at every opportunity, saying they lack the musical understanding to see what he tried to create amongst a host of other things. He also said his mistake was not having his name as sole owner of Battle Beast so he could do nothing to bring the band down, and he'll never make that mistake again. I hope his ego doesn't destroy Beast In Black. It wasn't the way Battle Beast kicked him out that was fucked up, but the way Anton behaved before, during and after the split was.
@@stebow1977 What I mean is that according to Anton the reason was that he had not registered the band name and a band member beat him to it. So the legal ownership of the band wasn't his and the person who owned it kicked him out. I dunno who beat him to it. Battle Beast fan here as well, saw them in NY earlier this year. I'm still trying to figure out the story here.

And I'm guessing the guy with the rest shirt is the devil - not sure why but something related to money.
The guy in black that took the bread and wine must be a priest.
I'm not sure who the lady in green is. And the rest of the "characters" are TBD.
And with the characters we have so far, I still don't know who she i. I'll try to figure it out eventually :)

It's common story about corruption and how those who have money and power can create illusion wich people in white believe and follow. Lady in green is truth wich usally sooner or later comes out and reviels.illusion. That makes people in white to dissapear cause they don't believe to Illusion anymore.
Noora is often called the powermetal version of Anne Wilson from Heart.

As seen for an example in Loverbites where many of them exceeds not just many, but the most of male musicians in technicality.

@DaneBramageROCKS Jonny mentioned Tatiana from a band called Jinjer. If you're not familiar with Jinjer you need to check them out. Tatiana is one of a kind, she's awesome. For an introduction to Jinjer I highly recommend a song called Pisces, but the studio live session version (she's wearing a white vest top). If you've never heard them before it'll totally blow your mind lol... 🤘🤘

I really like this band but the way they kicked out Anton is fucked up.
What do you mean the way he was kicked out was fucked up? He left because of his huge over inflated ego. He wanted full control of everything creative with no input from any other band member, but the rest couldn't accept that and why should they? A band is more than 1 member. There were other issues, and Nitte Valo left because of tensions with Anton and his ego. The official reason was family, but through various interviews since its made clear she left because of Anton and his ego. Immediately after the split the band wanted to keep things respectable and keep details of Anton's departure to themselves, yet Anton slagged the band off at every opportunity, saying they lack the musical understanding to see what he tried to create amongst a host of other things. He also said his mistake was not having his name as sole owner of Battle Beast so he could do nothing to bring the band down, and he'll never make that mistake again. I hope his ego doesn't destroy Beast In Black. It wasn't the way Battle Beast kicked him out that was fucked up, but the way Anton behaved before, during and after the split was.

according to Anton the reason was that he had not registered the band name and a band member beat him to it. So the legal ownership of the band wasn't his and the person who owned it kicked him out. I dunno who beat him to it. He talked about this in an interview in Radio Rock and there is an article reference about this.

I've seen literally dozens of live shows, maybe going into the 100s, of different bands over the 46 years I've been on the Earth, Battle Beast without doubt are one of the best bands I've seen live. They are awesome and I'm seeing them again in Manchester UK in November. I can't wait... 🤘🤘
