It will last 4-7 days in the fridge! if you make taro smoothies with it, you can keep it in the freezer to last longer. It will be a little hard to scoop so just freezing in small portions will be okay 😊
Loved the video! We don't get Taro powder from where I come from. Is there an alternative? Can taro powder be made by drying Taro root in an over and then grinding it?
Hi there, thank you for making this! your video was very helpful! I'm considering using taro root in cocktails, but it looks pretty thick - do you think adding water after blending (and heating to combine) would achieve a more liquid product without diluting the taste? also how long does taro paste last in a fridge, and can it be frozen?
this one was purchased and sent from Vietnam but you might be able to find a similar size from Asian Grocery stores!! or online as an Asian style peeler ♡ ♡ ♡
The texture is definitely unique as a milk tea but it still tastes great! We use the taro paste for our Taro Milk drink and it’s pretty popular. We have a black/green milk tea base and can replace the milk with milk tea when requested. But if the texture seems off, I would stick to just the taro powder ♡♡
I think artificial/powder taro faintly tastes like fruit loop cereal, and other people have said so too! Real taro has more of an earthy flavor, like a mild-distant cousin of a sweet potato haha
the text makes me smile and want to give you a hug! and the ASMR is so relaxing....
I’m so glad you liked it!!
Wow! Your video was so informative. I can’t wait to try on my own. Thank you!
thank you :333 lmk how it tastes ~
Taro is also a staple food in the south pacific, where we frequently cook it in underground ovens (and of course lots of taro chips)! Love from fiji!
Oooo cooking from underground ovens sounds ready good!
I couldn't finish watching this. Have a good day 😂
Great and helpful.😮 good job. Hope to see more of your boba videos. ❤️😘 you make it so simple and interesting! Love it!❤❤❤

@@yanimalscafevlogs yes, thank u 😊👍
You are so knowledgeable!!!
thank you, i did a lot of research for this video 💗
¿Que es el polvo morado de puso en la licuadora?
at the end what you poured in the container is what you serve to the clients or it has to be mix with milk? and that can it be left in the fridge?
it must be kept in the fridge! We use it as a base for our taro smoothies and taro milk but it needs to be mixed with milk ~
Thank you! 😊 🙏 How long does that much taro paste last? Refrigerated shelf life?

sweet and concise video. can you please tell which brand of taro powder is being used?
Bosen and Teazone are the popular ones around here but theres some on Amazon too ♡
The Taro paste is Taro+coconut milk+taro powder?
Yes😊
where would I find the peeler you used? Am in the U.S.
this one was purchased and sent from Vietnam but you might be able to find a similar size from Asian Grocery stores!! or online as an Asian style peeler ♡ ♡ ♡
So good. ❤❤❤ question is.
After cooking taro. You blend it w coconut milk and taro powder? Taro powder gives you that purplish color ???
hi, yes! the taro powder adds a little extra flavor and color but can be omitted if you want~
Great video! I have a question though :) is the next step to just dissolve the paste with milk? Thank uuuuuu
hi, thank you! yes, you can use any milk to stir into the paste!
Are small taro roots more delicious or does it not matter.
smaller taro are known to be more starchy and tender but it shouldn't matter too much~
What's is the purple powder,?
It’s taro powder! It can be omitted but it adds more flavor/color
What powder did you use bestie?!💕 I've been on a hunt for too long can't find a good one 😭
Bossen powder and Teazone are really popular choices!!
I’ve seen you guys use it for smoothies but do you think the paste would work well in a milk tea? Or is the texture not right for it?
The texture is definitely unique as a milk tea but it still tastes great! We use the taro paste for our Taro Milk drink and it’s pretty popular. We have a black/green milk tea base and can replace the milk with milk tea when requested. But if the texture seems off, I would stick to just the taro powder ♡♡

What does Taro taste like? I heard people say that it "It tastes like the milk that's left over from fruit loop cereal". Is that true?
I think artificial/powder taro faintly tastes like fruit loop cereal, and other people have said so too! Real taro has more of an earthy flavor, like a mild-distant cousin of a sweet potato haha
@@yanimalscafevlogs interesting, sounds pretty tasty. Thank you!

This video was great thank you for sharing . How much coconut milk, powder taro and sugar to blend for 2lbs of taro root ?
Natural is way better
Is your hand okay?? 😢 Also thanks for telling us the difference between ube and taro, i had no idea they were different 😂 love this vid
yes i'm all good, thank you for asking 💖 i'm glad you loved it!
Are there more than one kind? The ones in the grocery store are abou the size of a fist…
it might be a baby taro and the grown taro. the smaller ones are known to be more starchy but shouldn't change the flavor~
My son is called Taro
Yes we ate taros in the Island n in New Zealand, we cook it in the oven, roasted or cook it with coconut cream or make taro chips..very yummy...
I cant bear to watch this, it's so dangerous. You need a kind of cradle to rest the taro in so it doesn't move and a slicer machine to cut it .
Hi
❤
❤️❤️
I’m surprised you actually add taro to it, I would think even if you blend it smooth it is still too thick for bubble tea.
it's good for the smoothies! i think the taro milk is a little thick but it's still popular ~
using real taro paste and artifical taro flavour is kinda genius,,,
When she thought she just lost 3 fingers….. 😮😮😮 I hope she learns from it.
thanks for the concern, i'll be more attentive ♡
OOOOO YUM!! thank you so much. i'm sorry, i didnt see this video last night!! is that just more taro powder that you added? is that optional 🥹
hi! sflr omg but the taro powder is optional. i personally prefer it because it boosts the taro flavor/color but totally up to you!
Where can I buy the same taro powder that you added to the cooked taro root before blending?
Be careful. You could’ve chopped off your fingers. I imagine you already have a method of cutting it safely.
the text is hard to read against the colors of the video and that font...
Do you have a handicap ? Make an effort please 😂😂😂 life is not that difficult dude
