I'm doing no processed food for lent. And already, 4 days in, I've lost 3.5lbs. Buzzing. Can't wait to see what it is after 40 days. I'm doing the Glucose Goddess tips on blood sugar spikes plus whole foods diet. And watching inspirational people like you. I'm mega missing diet coke. But that's all.

This video was amazingly helpful. I'm going through some depressing and recurrent medical issues. Gotta deal with the stress, the meds, immunity suppression, and the inflammation. I'll be working with all these foods except the kimchi. However, I like MANY other fermented foods. THANK YOU!

Like your videos about inflammatory and anti inflammatory foods Lacey, thanks! Called my attention that you list red meets and diaries, well known to cause inflammation. Plant based foods, all the ones you mentioned!, and fish, should be the pool to consume from, according to most peer reviewed literature. Of course you can eat a steak and a traditional ice-cream sometimes, but I would not list them as healthy food to provide specific nutrients...actually ,if you stop eating them you will be surprised that you will no longer like them after a while...

Wonderful video! I have to have that self awareness not to run to cookies, and reach for dark chocolate instead.

Rest -- sleep is probably the only thing that can really make a difference. Eat normally and get rest. These magical foods probably won't do anything.

Anxiety is often mistaken for "stress". Anxiety is a psychophysological predisposition and no foods, rest, relaxation exercises will get rid of it. It requires neuroplastic and behavioral change.
