    Guys, I really like the overviews, but maybe you could do a review? Or show the grinds that it achieves at different settings!

    Just got my order from you guys. I don’t know how I lasted with a JavaPresse grinder for 2 years. This is so much better.
    How many clicks would you recommend for an Aeropress? I like to fill to 4.

    It’s worth noting that it only grinds a maximum of 15g at a time. Other than that I love it.

    was there a difference in time and consistency for the grinds for pour over between the 2 burrs?

      The stainless steel burr is the standard drip burr that performs quite well in the medium grind range. The titanium burr is made for finer grinding, so you see the best results for AeroPress, moka pot, and espresso.

    Does the pommel fit inside the grinds catch by chance?

      Hey, great question! Yes, the pommel does fit in the grinds catch which makes for added convenience when taking it on the go!

      Titanium is only one forth of the time. Damn what a step up.

    I'm interested in the quality of the ground coffee?

      The Nano comes with your choice of burrs -- either titanium-coated or stainless steel. The former is designed to grind best in the fine range (espresso, moka pot, some AeroPress); the latter is designed to grind best in the mid range (Kalita, V60, drip). Assuming you choose the appropriate burr for your intented brewing method, the grind quality will be well above average.

    Will it fit inside the aeropress?

    • @primacoffeeequipment
      @primacoffeeequipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The NANO body (without the lid assembly) fits inside the AeroPress.

    How much clicks should I use for AeroPress coffee and for Espresso? Thanks in advance.

    • @primacoffeeequipment
      @primacoffeeequipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We recommend 7 or 8 clicks as a starting point for espresso (but, of course, this will depend on the basket size, dose, etc.). The grind for AeroPress will vary depending on the recipe but, but 12 is probably a good starting point. Keep in mind, though, that this advice is for the NANO with titanium-coated burrs because the stainless steel burrs cannot grind efficiently at the finer settings.

      @@primacoffeeequipment Thank you very much. Can I use the same with Timemore Slim Plus?

    The titanium coating is a marketing ploy. Titanium has worse edge holding ability than steel. If its actually better, it's because they're purposefully using cheap stainless with poor machining to mark up the titanium coated burrs. Diamond coating would make sense. Titanium coating only makes sense on aluminum or other very soft metals

    • @xVRSGame
      @xVRSGame 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that it's not just Titanium coating but Titanium Aluminum Nitride (TiAIN), just like machining tools which is very stronger.

    • @veganpotterthevegan
      @veganpotterthevegan 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@xVRSGame It's not🤷 They're better off adding more chromium to the steel. And even then, you'd get better edge holding from a nice carbon steel. Hardness and edge holding aren't the same thing
