*Why I call this a "post-game" battle even though you can encounter these elementals mid-game:* Having answered this at great length in an old reply I was 'surprised' to see this question come up a second time 2 years after uploading the video so I'll just leave this dedicated comment: 1) The primary reason why I call Elementals post-game bosses is quite simply because unlike story bosses *they are available post-game even after subsequent defeats.* That renders them part of the post-game content. That's reason enough really, I could end right there. 2) *Elementals are irrelevant until post-game.* You can complete the story and all quests without ever fighting one. Their loot is useless until you have the post-game recipes for them. Thus you typically deal with them post-game. They serve no purpose prior to that other than being an optional challenge for bragging rights or whatever. 3) Though in a sense you can argue that most Elementals (including this one) can be fought mid-game and are therefore mid-game bosses, Great Dark Element is truly a post-game boss and the other Elementals are only slightly easier than it - and they all get harder with repetition. So *reason 3 is they are post-game standard bosses in terms of difficulty seeing as they are harder than the story's final boss.* For more details please see my original rebuttal to the original comment regarding this. It's a worthy question but I believe I've handled it adequately. I'd also add that I clearly displayed the title and thumbnail as an Elemental battle and it is the viewer's choice to click/view in spite of that being labelled as "post-game". But thankyou for creating "video attention" factor!
Accidentally fought her on my first visit. I thought she was an NPC who would give me something good if I walked up to her and got a very unpleasant surprise
I notice you asked this in 2 separate comments (1 deleted). I already covered it in great depth over a year ago replying to a previous comment. It should be easy to find but I'll provide a "short version" as a pinned comment and that's the last time I'll cover this question.
That statement sounds like you answered your own question? This is a weapon creation example: th-cam.com/video/Hnwuehomnck/w-d-xo.html That was before the update raising max character level, having LV 200 enemies, a higher difficulty, upgrading weapons with gems... etc. So I have 999 in all stats now.
Anyway the crux of making OP weapons is pretty much: 1) Use 999 materials. (This is a given so I expect you know that.) 2) Start on the beginner weapon to build up more turns. 3) Get to the end of the chain in as few turns as possible with the Spread effect. And all that in order to: 4) Spam as much Goldoterion as you can on the ultimate weapon for higher stats, but taking into account to fill up enough nodes so you can still max it out with Rebuild. It requires quite a lot of material gathering and planning so keep a save handy for reloading.
There was no "reinforcing" or "minmaxing" feature when I made this video, those were added later. Additionally there was no reinforcing with gems to 999 stats, levelling to 99 or a Legendary difficulty at the time. I implemented all those as they became available. That's just how TH-cam works. I can't go back on an old video and record over that video with updated features because you can reinforce gear now. Check the upload date properly next time.
Elementals are not post-game bosses, i killed them after getting boots, which is middle-late game. You don't need 999 quality items or hp charge++ 99 lvl for that... They pretty much can be killed by normal bombs and skill attacks for 10 ap + some speed up food and basic tea. Using fatal drive not only takes too much animation time, but also deals low damage compared to items and autoattacks + reduces tactics, which leads to autoattacks dmg reduction. Expected to see real post-game bosses...
Then you didn't look very hard or you'd have found my video of beating the hardest boss in the game on the then-hardest difficulty in a LV90 bottle, though I suppose I should update that to the new Legendary difficulty even though I've already since beaten it on that. Then again I've already maxed out my weapons with gems since the update and applied the updated level cap of 99 so that fight went even quicker, perhaps not worth the TH-cam update after all. *I find it odd that you "expected to see" something other than an elemental when not only is there an elemental thumbnail but it's clearly specified in the title as well.* Everyone who's played through this game knows perfectly well that you can encounter these elementals mid-game, you're not giving any special revelation here, but they are still a par harder than the final boss (and even if they're not, they GET harder with repetition) and thus are typically dealt with post-game. Therefore my choice of title is justified however much elitist nitpicking you feel the need to do. Great Dark Element is post-game as prior to post-game the space is occupied by Gold Puni, the whole point of Great Dark Element (aside from its loot) being access to the Underworld bottle. The other elementals are little under Great Dark Element in difficulty and attack much the same so it's kind of a pointless rebuttal to make really. Another reason why I refer to them as post-game bosses is there is simply no need to engage them prior to post-game, they do not oppose your story progress (or even sidequest progress) and their loot is irrelevant until you learn the post-game recipes that use elemental cores. As they are available post-game (unlike the actual storyline bosses) they are part of the post-game content, just not exclusively so. You could push a case that it's not a post-game boss unless it absolutely can't be encountered or beaten until post-game but that's treading on thin ice. For instance there's probably no one in the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 community who'd argue against Gladiator Orion, one of the hardest fights in the game, being a post-game fight even though you can walk right past him quite some time before the final boss. Someone very diligent might even be able to beat him. Regarding my method, you assume my goal was efficiency. It wasn't, it was showing the Fatal Drives which I consider better TH-cam eye candy than tossing a few items. As for not needing items of quality 999, well you should really be crafting 999 quality items by that stage anyway. Implying your items were not 999 quality is not a plus for you. The game is all about doing synthesis and doing it well. The story and battles are made to compliment that, not visa versa. Therefore my well synthesized items are more important than what description is acceptable for a specific boss. Other readers: I'm by no means belittling players by what quality their items are, the game is for you to play at your own pace. This person though is using elite-speak on me so is being answered on that basis.

Do you still heart comments or read them after 10 months?
I still check them.
How did you get your weapons that op ???
Oh... that’s on my Atelier Ryza playlists somewhere. Maybe I’ll update with a link when I get home.
@@KingX I mean I'm level 70 with like 200 hp I can beat level 120 monsters at lvl 50 with my equipment

Could use a little more minmaxing there.
