Hi dr You are absolute gem
    Plz reply my question
I want to be hair restoration surgeon as a prime specialty
But i don't wanna indulge myself into surgery line so can I pursue my goal via dermatology field i,e as a cosmetic dermatologist.
Is it possible for dermatologist to practice yhis surgery as most of renowned hair restoration surgeons are dermatologist.
    Thank you

Yes this field is meant for dermatologists and plastic surgeons in the eyes of the public and also in the eyes of the Law.

Ever heard the term MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY? How ignorant these so called senior plastic surgeons are. Don't even have the basic knowledge.
No dentist is allowed hair transplants ONLY maxillofacial surgeons are. But we can understand the inferiority complex.

Respected and Dear Dr. Bhatti sir,
It’s very unfortunate that you made this video generalising maxillofacial surgeons with general dentist . As a Plastic Surgeon, you must be knowing- your OMFS colleagues operate routinely on face, scalp, neck. During an orthognathic Surgery, a bicoronal incision may be needed which is on scalp. Maxfacs routinely come accross follicles
Follicles, my dear doctor, are not new territory for us.
But here’s a suggestion for your next viral hit:
    • Why not highlight dermatologists training general dentists and homeopaths to perform hair transplants?
    • Or better yet, why not address the practice of dermatologists employing general dentists in HT centers for low pay to cut costs and boost revenue? Surely, if you’re concerned about ethics, this deserves a video too.
Meanwhile, maxillofacial surgeons are already the first point of contact in emergency rooms-managing facial trauma, burns, and surgical emergencies daily. It’s hard to ignore their expertise when it comes to the head and neck.
Looking forward to your next video, hopefully one that’s a little more balanced🙏🙏🙏

Great video sir. An awareness campaign for public is much needed . Niether big dermatologist nornbig plastic surgeon are telling the truth to the public. They somehow use BAMS, BHMS and dentist themselves to fulfil their pockets

Doctor, can I use both oral minoxidil 2.5mg per day and topical minoxidil 5% to boost hair growth?
I am currently using 5% topical minoxidil twice a day. Can i add 2.5mg oral minoxidil along with it?

Hello! Great video. I just had quick question on finasteride. Is it important when you start finasteride to continue on the same generic you start with in the beginning? In other words, after 3 months when you get your refill from the pharmacy, if they give you a different generic, is that okay to continue to use? Or do you want to stick with the same generic you started off with at the start? Thanks so much!

Changing brands will always make you lose some ground. Best stick to one which is easily available.

Dear doctor, I would like to ask you a question.
In your previous videos you mention that after consuming 1mg finasteride for 3 months, you should take a break for 15 days to flush the finasteride out of the body to reduce the risk of permanently sides.
So my siutation is I am 27 years old. agressieve hair loss since the age of 26.
If I stop for 15 days will the DHT increase and will the gains I made in the last 3 months be gone?
After the second month the shedding phase is over, I'm afraid I'll lose the gains and that it will be for nothing, because the halve life is just 6/7 hours I believe so (correct me if I'm wrong).
Will this affect the gains and the hair loss again? Is this method proven scientifically?
Please, looking forward to your reply.
    So

There is no significant loss of ground if you go stop Finasteride for 2-3 weeks, every 3 months. This is a tried and tested protocol. You must take breaks!

    This is half cooked truth.
Dear sir this is how you see it. Highlight that.
Why this entire video is half cooked? Because
    1. Dynamic dermats association has filed PIL on Dental council of India for permitting oral and maxillofacial surgeons to do hair transplant surgeries after having bilateral talks with National medical council. See the dates of the notifications and get the facts. By filing PIL on dci for such instructions to Dermat association has indirectly challenged NMC guidelines.
    2. If you are talking about artistry you ppl stand no chance before a dentist leave about OMFS. Dentist has more artistic and hand skills than any other graduate doctor.
    3. Dentists are not allowed to practice Hair transplant but only oral & maxillofacial surgeons(OMFS) are allowed.Becoz OMFS do not come under NMC directly and OMFS has their own dental council, NMC has passed the guidelines through DCI. Being a practitioner under NMC kindly be aware of your councils guidelines and its relations with other councils
    4. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons boldly display their degrees with utmost pride to patients becoz we are exclusively trained in head and neck and we have various sub specialities after OMFS for more extensive training.
    5. Employing untrained and unqualified technicians was/ is the main practice of other than omfs specialities just for money. Omf surgeons strictly oppose practice of hair transplant by unqualified technicians. Kindly join hands with us to collectively curb this nuisance of unethical practice. And kindly portray crystal clear facts because you are a senior surgeon🙏

Lack of rules regulations in india made these dentists to perform not just hair transplants but also other dermatological procedures like peels, botox , fillers and some even treating dermatology diseases with just 2-4 weeks training.. the reason they would give is that they’ve got the skin anatomy in bds 1 st year and know the facial anatomy lol 😂 .. not just this .. the big guns in dental field have the audacity to dictate the dental board to include the said procedures in dental curriculum so that they think that it’s their field and can perform them.. also they’ll take 2 weeks crash course and then give training to other quacks just for quick money!! Quackery unprofessionalism at the worstttt!!!

      @@venkateshvicky8128 Dear Sir,
It’s amusing how you conveniently choose to ignore the reality of the situation. OMFS surgeons are well-trained to handle surgeries on the scalp, facial structures, and beyond. We don’t just know “skin anatomy from BDS 1st year”-we manage wound healing, complex facial trauma, burns, and other intricate procedures daily. This expertise seamlessly extends to chemical peels and similar treatments.
But let’s address the elephant in the room: it’s not OMFS -it’s some dermatologists who not only train them but also employ general dentists in their clinics to cut costs. Isn’t that unethical as per DCI and NMC guidelines? Before pointing fingers, perhaps it’s time to clean up your own backyard
