I dk if the other commenters advice will work but I've found to pull of the toe drags u need to pull the stick to about a 45 degree angle to which ever side n then from there drag it down a lil past all the way back. Hard to explain through text.
You need to let go of hustle. Because its protects the puck instead and if you let go of hustle midway your joystick is probably down so it just load a slapshot

So often my players will fake slap, or just shoot when I try to deke
loved this move in 23 but in the new game the movement and really any movement feels off. Prolly get used to it tho and still a good move

That was nhl23. Now one timers works. Nhl 23 was better to deka in 2 on 0 and it was frusrating
