How similar is this same procedure in a 1st Gen Camaro? The assembly looks the same but the door skeleton is a one piece that looks a lot harder to see inside and move your hand around.
Can you elaborate a little on removing the window height adjustment handle? Tried sticking a rag behind and trying to get it to catch like you showed, but nothing catches on that clip. Thanks
I don't have an impact screwdriver.....I'm damn close to stripping the heads, it seems that since the door doesn't have threads, is it a big deal to just drill out the heads?
klowny1969 I actually tried my cordless impact gun, that got 2 of them out quick, the 3rd was just stuck, I drilled it out, no problem, new piece is in, thanks for the upload, def helped!
I suppose it can work from either side but looking at the way you did it it looks as though the pin could rub on the bracket which will wear it thin over time. Not trying to be a know-it-all, I just know how it goes on my Camaro.
Awesome thanks man! Very helpful guide. Did this last week on both sides, the hardest bit is getting the rods to unclip and reclip.
Yes..just need a little patience lol..thnx for watching

Were you having issues woth closing the door?
In order to close mine I have to slam it. Would replacing the door latch be the solution?
Nope, you would have to see why the door would not close..it could be the latch, could be the hinges etc.. don't forget to subscribe
@klowny1969 gotcha, may need a little adjusting upwards. You have any videos on that?
Already subscribed 👌🏽
