Welcome to the TH-cam channel of House + Holm! I'm a mama of three sweet little ones and am married to my middle school sweetheart! My passion for home renovation, design and decorating took off when my husband and I purchased our first home, a 100 year old 1300sq/ft house. Since then, we have renovated four homes. This channel was born out of a love for sharing about our online interior decor store, House + Holm. After three years of investing in our shop, we felt called to close our online doors and prioritize raising our kids and being present at home. Very calming.I don't know how you keep it so clean with 3 kids. I like color, so i couldn't have white on white on white but I can appreciate that it looks very nice.

yes agree with the kitchen counter bar top i had the same and switched to one level best decision! It stills looks beautiful how it is but it is more functional in my opinion one level counter and gives more space.

I absolutely love the sitting room idea versus a formal dining room. Our last home had a formal dining room and we never used it, maybe 3 times a year at most, that just makes for wasted space in my opinion. Your house is so beautiful and serene, I love it, you’ve done an amazing job making it your home ❤

Thank you! They are original hardwoods that we had sanded and refinished when we moved in. We went with a whitewash by Bona to seal them.

Hi Martha! It’s an antique wax from Lowes. They don’t carry the same exact one anymore, but an antique wax should give you a similar look! Just make sure you start out with a white base. We painted the fireplace white before we applied the wax. I hope this helps!
