Yes! I had an oversupply with my 4th and i had a whole chest freezer full of milk( i had to exclusively pump with him). I also have oversupply with my 5th as well(hes 11 weeks) and he has choked on my milk from the beginning. My let down is also insane, and painful for me! I have to pump in the morning because he sleeps fairly well most nights. As a matter of fact, i pumped 10 oz out of one side this morning. I feed him on demand, and i agree with you that that stupid tiktok trend can be misleading, especially to first time mamas.
I struggled with breastfeeding my 4th, he just couldnt figure out how to latch and at that time i had to go back to work after 12 weeks, which is why i ended up exclusively pumping with him. I couldn't bear the thought of giving him formula, and i pumped for him until he was 15 months. My milk supply naturally dried up because i was pregnant with my 5th, but i had milk for him until he was 18 months because of my freezer stash! I plan to breastfeed my 5th until he doesnt want to anymore. Hoping to make it to 2 years old, longer than that if i need to. I love the bond i have with him, its so sweet. I love that i get to do this with him!

I loved reading this and knowing that I’m not alone with the struggles over supply. That’s great that you were able to put that to use and continue to feed him past the point of pumping. I hope that you will be able to continue with your 5th as long as possible too! Sounds like you should be able to!! You’re doing great!
