Tatum Goring A suggestion I learned was to take the hair dye and use a eyebrow brush (the part you use to brush the brows) to get in there and it allowed me to re dye the roots without getting it on the lace 😋

I haven’t found one video yet that address is my issue. Yes, the knots were over bleached, but it’s not the knots that I’m concerned about. It’s the lace. If your lace is brassy as well as your roots, I understand how you put the dye on the roots and get that back to black but how do you get your lace to not be brassy because you can have all that black guy on your wig but when you go to parted or to lay down the lace, it’s still brassy underneath. How do you fix that?
Yes, it still looked a bit yellow. However, still not really an issue. I would say still correct the overbleached roots. Maybe try toning the lace more to your skin color since the lace is overbleached( the color of it is lifted really high- in Jaystayready’s video he in fact calls it “Wafflehouse Yellow”) he went so far as to even say that the LACE being a bit overbleached wasn’t a problem. It gives you the opportunity to tone to your skin color using hair dye- watch his video to see the process) As far as correcting the overbleached ROOTS : definitely use the method in this video to correct the hot root problem! You could probably correct and tone the lace first and then go in and correct the “hot roots”

L B the best bleach for knots is Ion Color Brilliance💯💯💯👌🏽Ever since I subscribed to Lace Assassin’s channel I’ve been using his tips & tricks and The Hair Diagram’s channel too. When using that bleach you don’t get so much brassiness. Also when your bleaching & dying make sure you seal your lace BEFORE dying the hair. Apply 2 coats of gel and a holding spray to your lace, let it dry then proceed to doing the water color method to dye your unit. Trust me you will not go back to the brush on method for dying your wigs❣️👌🏽😘
Lauren Lewis Grief Coach Practitioner depending on how much you wash your units. I use the water color method for dying my wigs. I mix 1 box or permanent dye and 1 bottle of Adore in a container of water......Yes after I mix the permanent dye in the mixing tube, I squeeze the whole bottle in the water then add the bottle of Adore. Dip my wig in the solutions for 20 mins and it’s done. My color last for 2 months. I wash my units every 2 weeks (softly) I also sit my units in a conditioner/water solution for 10 mins. Don’t wring out your wigs. Just slide your hand down the unit and lay it on a towel to air dry. That hair will be soooo freakin soft😍😍😍😍girrrrrlllll🥰🥰🥰Hope that help Sis😘
Lauren Lewis Grief Coach Practitioner BTW I forgot to answer your question. Yes your knots will turn back black if you don’t seal them 1st. Turn the wig inside out, spray with a holding spray, then apply 2 layers of gel ( any type of molding gel just not the brown Pro Style gel) let dry and spray another coat of holding spray. Now when you dye the unit using the water color method your knots are sealed and you dip the top lace part in last. By you protecting the lace with the gel & holding spray the water dye won’t get through so quickly to damage your knots/lace. Ok the water color method is the quickest and best for dying your wigs. My hands are not that steady for the application brush dye method😬😊

Also put loads of Vaseline on the lace, it stops the colour absorbing
